Went here on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm with no reservations. I had called earlier in the day and they said no need for reservations...but upon reaching they look stunned. We were seated in the back part of the restaurant... where the booths were which in my opinion ruined my experience at the restaurant. There was a large group that was seated in the front area where the chairs and tables were which was the better area while the booths seemed to be the older setup and had us all squished. This ruined our experience as we were fighting for space on the table. The servers were good overall but not sure if I will return to this location. Having been to the Ajax location that one hits it out of the park with ambiance, service and food! Hope the missisauga location can also kick it up a notch a day would be glad to return. I went to myKolachi a few months ago and enjoyed that a bit better than this one. The service here was decent but our food took 1.5h to come out. I knew karahi takes a bit longer to make, but didn't expect to wait that long. The staff came by twice to apologize for the delay. The lamb and chicken biryani was a bit cold when those came out. The kebab was good but nothing special. The chicken karahi was my favourite and hot when it came out. We ordered mild and it was merely spicy. I think I can go for the regular one next time. I have been here a few times and can safety say their taste, quality and service has been consistent over the visits. Normally that's not the case with most Pakistani restaurants. Our order is pretty standard each time. A rice, their famous karhai and couple of bbq items along with their naan. A karhai is meat cooked with lots of ginger, tomatoes, green chilies along with spices-we went with the chicken and it was delicious. Their bihari kabab are tender and delicious if you haven't eaten Pakistani kababs I suggest you go with the seekh kababs they are more basic and milder than bihari and liked by all.Their biryani is always great-good quality meat and rice with perfect seasoning. Price point is pretty standard to most Pakistani restaurants and portions size I would say is medium. Staff is friendly. Generally on weekends they can be a wait to prepare for that not sure if they take reservations but you call always call and check. It is located in a plaza so plenty of parking. Came to Toronto to visit some friend and everyone recommended Karahi Point as the best place to have Karahi in town! It was true. Typical Pakistani style with generous portions! The food was super fresh and it came out at a reasonable time. Our server was honest and helped us make the right decisions by suggesting us what to get. Overall our choices were good! We ordered the Aloo tikki as starters with a sweet lassi and a mint margarita. For entrees we had bone in chicken karahi, chicken biryani, lahori channa and garlic naan. The salad comes with the raita. I was a little disappointed by the chicken biryani but I know that's not their specialty. The place is beautifully decorated and with plenty of seating! This restaurant needs to close or management needs to revamp and restart all over again. It is the worst service I've ever had witness in my 40 years. We tried Karahi Point for the first time, this past week. They had their grand opening celebration on Thursday December 5 at their new Mississauga location. They were offering 15% off the menu. I was very impressed with the customer service! Super friendly staff. Decor was also very nice and reflected Pakistan very well. My favorite were the murals. We tried the fish Karahi ($22.99/half) and the chicken rashmi paneer & honey (not listed on the menu). The chicken was super tasty & probably one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. However it was super pricy for the portion ($34.99). The Karahi had too much sauce and not enough fish. The naan was also very good. Super smooth and fresh. Overall I liked the atmosphere, the food and the staff. The mural in the prayer room is also very nice. We have been trying to change up our takeout routine these days as we were getting tired of the same old sushi every week. I often get cravings for Indian food and we found Karahi Point had excellent ratings, so we ordered. Our first time was last friday and I can honestly say I have been thinking about the naan and butter chicken since then. 5 days later, I simply had to have more. Even though the location is a minimum of 15 minute drive away, the food always arrives piping hot, including the naan. Tonight we ordered a combo that came with nihari, butter chicken, 2 drinks and 2 naans. We also ordered an extra naan and a biryani. They were also kind enough to throw in 2 complimentary gulab jaman, which was a nice surprise. The butter chicken! Oooh, that rich and creamy sauce. You can't beat it. The Good - new & bright décor - attentive & respectful staff - food does taste as though it's freshly prepared The Ok - better to go with at least a group of 3-4ppl - not a dumpy place, therefore prices are a bit higher - portion size is on the smaller side With help from the waitress, we narrowed down our order to Beef Bihari & Chicken Nihari, one of the dishes came with 2 naans, 2 sauces (raita + chutney), & a side plate of veg (lettuce, slices of tomato, & cucumbers). I had never had Bihari before, but I was told that it's slow cooked in spices. Although it tasted good, I did not like the paste-y texture. I prefer my kabobs in a chunkier form. As for the Nihari, a slow cooked curry, yes it's supposed to have a layer of oil on top. The gravy is also supposed to be thick because it has marrow from the meat. I think this location of Karahi Point would be good for celebrations as it's nice, new, & big. Service is better than usual places, they came around a bit too much to ask how everything was. We were a party of 12 and had a great time till the very end and after the the bill was paid for. A girl named Money came up to our table and asked us to write a review. What a beautiful spot to dine-in! My family and I were looking for a quick dine-in spot in Oakville and decided to check out Karahai Point and needless to say we were not disappointed! The restaurant is huge, very well designed and even has the cutest prayer room area for both men and women! Our waiter was quick to get our food, and the food was delicious! Not from town, it was close to my hotel in walking g distance. I got the lamb Karahi. I wasn't impressed, despite the fact the waitress said it was their specialty. The food was delivered lukewarm. The lamb wasn't of the best of parts, more so bone than meat soaked in oil. There was plenty of naan with meal, but to be honest of my opinion it was not enjoyable to eat bread and oil together as a meal. You could tell the lamb was old and not fresh by taste which is impacting my review greatly. What helps give this restaurant 2 stars was the mango lassi, it was delicious. read more

We went to Karahi point Thursday at 8:15 and were seated immediately. This place has many seats over 100. The decor very nice and many servers. We ordered right away and were brought our food within 40 mins. We ordered the peshwari chicken karahi which was 10/10 most delicious. We asked them to keep spices mild and they did for my kids. We also ordered the garlic naan which was a bit heavy on the garlic but still very yummy. The chicken biryani was fresh, hot and good.
