Lamb biryani, chicken biryani, karahi chicken, kebab, naan, roti

I went to myKolachi a few months ago and enjoyed that a bit better than this one. The service here was decent but our food took 1.5h to come out. I knew karahi takes a bit longer to make, but didn't expect to wait that long. The staff came by twice to apologize for the delay. The lamb and chicken biryani was a bit cold when those came out. The kebab was good but nothing special. The chicken karahi was my favourite and hot when it came out. We ordered mild and it was merely spicy. I think I can go for the regular one next time. It was a decent meal, but I'd rather try another place next time in the area. Our meal for 4 people came to around $150 after tips and tax.

I have been here a few times and can safety say their taste, quality and service has been consistent over the visits. Normally that's not the case with most Pakistani restaurants. Our order is pretty standard each time. A rice, their famous karhai and couple of bbq items along with their naan. A karhai is meat cooked with lots of ginger, tomatoes, green chilies along with spices-we went with the chicken and it was delicious. Their bihari kabab are tender and delicious if you haven't eaten Pakistani kababs I suggest you go with the seekh kababs they are more basic and milder than bihari and liked by all.Their biryani is always great-good quality meat and rice with perfect seasoning. Price point is pretty standard to most Pakistani restaurants and portions size I would say is medium. Staff is friendly. Generally on weekends they can be a wait to prepare for that not sure if they take reservations but you call always call and check. It is located in a plaza so plenty of parking. I usually end up going there in the winters as desi food hits differently in cold cold weather iykyk :)

Got chicken Biriyani and Chicken tikka biriyani to go. Food is really good Less oily compared to many biriyani places Portion sizes are really good and totally worth the price. Highly recommended! We will definitely visit again. It has dine in service available too. Clean and beautiful place. Great customer service Friendly staff Free parking in front of the restaurant

Came to Toronto to visit some friend and everyone recommended Karahi Point as the best place to have Karahi in town! It was true. Typical Pakistani style with generous portions! The food was super fresh and it came out at a reasonable time. Our server was honest and helped us make the right decisions by suggesting us what to get. Overall our choices were good! We ordered the Aloo tikki as starters with a sweet lassi and a mint margarita. For entrees we had bone in chicken karahi, chicken biryani, lahori channa and garlic naan. The salad comes with the raita. I was a little disappointed by the chicken biryani but I know that's not their specialty. The place is beautifully decorated and with plenty of seating! The restaurant is quite large. Additionally, there are a few private prayer room in the back of the restaurant.

The best Mughal style food in the area . The chicken Kadhai was delicious , tasted like freshly cooked chicken with Kadhai masala Chunky gravy . The beef seekh kebab with chutney was super delicious . Have to come back to try beef nihari, Brain masala and their house kulfi ! Butter Naan was complimentary with Kadhai dishes !!! Awesome

We went as a party of 8 for dinner on a Saturday night around 9 pm. The restaurant was packed and had a good vibe. Complimentary Salad - Rating 0 out of 5. Tiny shreds of lettuce eith thin slices of cucumber. Looked quite sad. Charsi Karahi Chicken - The best karahi I've ever had. So so good! A little salty though. Rating 4.5/5 Goat Karahi - spicy for medium but sooo delicious! Loved it. Rating 4.5/5 Falooda - Never seen such a tiny falooda. Maybe a 6 ounce cup? Rating 2/5. Chocolate cake - Ordered it as it was my husband's birthday. Too dry. Rating 2/5. Mint Margherita - Rating 2 out of 5. It tasted like club soda with mint etc. Most of us rejected it but my mom liked it...so drank both of them lol Seekh Kabab Chicken - Pretty good but didn't stand out from others we've had. Rating 4/5. Chicken Tikka - Was good. Rating 4/5. French Fries - Server forgot them so we asked her to cancel. She insisted on bringing them though and didn't charge. Would definitely return :-)

4.5/5 So delicious. Karahi chicken was very spicy - couldn't stop eating it. Only criticism is that it was borderline too salty. Naan was great, toppings were great, will be sure to return.

This place is certified yum yum's. When I was giving my order to the waiter she understood that it was my first time here and she helped us out with our order. The surrounding give me a super Pakistani vibe, which was just perfect with along with a Pakistan food. The music just hit well and gave it a really nice vibe

Boy this place blew my mind the best Indian Pakistani food ever I haven't had such excellent food in very very long Trust me I'm too too finicky for a full 5 rating But this place lived up to its reputation of the best food What super excellent seekh kebabs they literally melt in your mouth The kadahi chicken was excellent too tasted awesome too and naans come complimentary with the kadai dish The naans were great and soft and tasted awesome The interiors were great like painted walls and murals The restaurant was very spacious must be about a hundred seater The service was the best too The women working there were super polite friendly and helpful Money the name of the woman taking care of our table gave us an awesome experience This restaurant is perfect with their interiors, service and of course the food I'm definitely recommending this place and going back to taste their Nihari and brain curry

We tried Karahi Point for the first time, this past week. They had their grand opening celebration on Thursday December 5 at their new Mississauga location. They were offering 15% off the menu. I was very impressed with the customer service! Super friendly staff. Decor was also very nice and reflected Pakistan very well. My favorite were the murals. We tried the fish Karahi ($22.99/half) and the chicken rashmi paneer & honey (not listed on the menu). The chicken was super tasty & probably one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. However it was super pricy for the portion ($34.99). The Karahi had too much sauce and not enough fish. The naan was also very good. Super smooth and fresh. Overall I liked the atmosphere, the food and the staff. The mural in the prayer room is also very nice. I found the prices to be a bit high for the food and was expecting some more for a grand opening (I.e: could've had a special, celebration, etc).

Really amazing decor and designs are very inviting along with great backgrounds desi music. A hidden Pakistan "highway" food culture comes to Mississuagia.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was given a menu, and guided to a small table near the cashier. I was unsure of what to order so, the waitress guided me on what would be best. For my first dosa, I settled on the butter masala dosa, which came with three dips; coconut, tomato sauce, and chutney. I was pleasantly surprised to taste the dips, as they weren't spicy at all, and blended nicely with the dosa. However, the lentil dish was a tad too spicy for me therefore, I wasn't too keen on that particular dish. The next dosa I had was the plain dosa, then the last was the masala dosa. I found the dosas to be much smaller than what was shown in the photos, which made them disappear quickly into my mouth. They were also quite thin and difficult to rip, as many of the items on the inside tended to fall out as I tried to rip the dosa for dipping. Nevertheless, the taste of the dosas and dips were flavourful, with refills of all dips (minus the lentil dish) and dosas included in the price of $19.99. I had never had a dosa experience such as this one, and would definitely return, as I found it worthwhile and filling. Service was great during the entire experience, and the restaurant itself boasted a great environment. Would definitely return to try other items on the menu!

During our stay, we noticed individuals coming in and out for take-out therefore, the kitchen was kept busy with varying orders. The restaurant itself was large, and as we were told, a bar and event space was being built in the back for larger groups. Upon entering, we were greeted by a kind server, whom showed us to a table of our choosing. Since we were the only diners in the restaurant, we chose to sit in a large booth, which accommodated all four of us nicely. As we entered the restaurant, we noticed how beautiful the decor was, and how nice it smelled! Two very important points that we were blown away by. Upon sitting in the booth, we settled on two orders of butter chicken with plain naan and rice. We also decided on a thali, which had lentils, butter chicken, paneer with butter chicken sauce, yogurt, rice with vegetables, and gulab jamun for dessert. We only had to wait about 12 minutes for our food to arrive, at which point, we were starving, and looking forward to eating. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything tasted. The portion sizes were large, and very well-portioned for each item. We also liked how the naan was included with the thali, and how generous the server was in providing extra water at all times. Our server came over to check on us as we were dining, commenting positively on the type of food that we had chosen. Considering how spacious the restaurant was, along with the inviting ambiance, top-notch service, and appetizing food, we were surprised to see it so quiet. Please fill this restaurant to capacity, as it is beyond amazing, and deserves to be given a chance! Will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

We picked up some vegan chole, vegan eggplant, samosa, and vegan parathas, and tandoori rotis. The Chole and eggplant curries were very disappointing. Especially Chole - it tasted as it was made a novice and not a chef. Chole is such a Punjabi dish, that one is rarely disappointed. The eggplant curry was equally disappointing. It didn't taste as it came from a Punjabi restaurant. The spice level and even seasonings were completely off. The samosas were OK and so was the tandoori rotis. The Aloo Parathas again disappointing. Wondering how can one go wrong in making Parathas? Potatoes stuffed in between two bigger tawa rotis. That's how it tasted. We are not sure we are going back to this location ever again.

Normally, a place that has a massive menu is a bit concerning to me…read moreas it often leads to not really excelling at anything, but that is not the case here in my experience. The reason behind the large menu is related to the aim of the restaurant, which is to showcase the various regional cuisines of India. As a result, don't expect the straightforward menu of: apps, entrees, deserts, etc... rather the menu is divided by cuisine. Aside from honouring tradition, they do offer a couple 'new' takes on some items. If you comb through a few reviews, and certainly the pics, you'll notice a must-order items is the roasted eggplant with pomegranate. It really is like nothing else I've had before and unforgettable in both taste and texture. My group also went with a famous lamb dish as well. I don't remember the name offhand, but it is incredibly soft, well seasoned and nicely spiced dish. We also went with orders of naan, veggie dishes and meat skewers. It's beautifully decorated inside and also has the advantage of being located in a heritage building in what was formerly an estate home nearly 150 years old.
