Who would've thought that there would be a phenomenal Pakistani restaurant all the way down in south Jersey? Absolutely worth the drive to immerse yourself in the neon kaleidoscope vibes of Karachi Kafe. The frenetic energy of Karachi is Kaptured in both the decor and the food. You must have the Papdi Chaat if nothing else. The bowl of cooling yogurt, spicy chick peas, and crunchy crackers on top is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Standard Pakistani fare like Chicken Karahi and Naan are a must as well. Freshly made, spiced to perfection, and arriving in a sizzling wok - the sight is almost dazzling as the restaurant itself. Luckily, the servers are quite calm compared to the energy of the room. They will patiently take your order, walk you through the menu, and bring the food in decent time.

Loved how cute this place was! We were visiting from out of town - very colorful and lots of decor. Sometimes may be a little over the top but that's karachi , we got the gol guppa and chaat which were great! also got that nihari and karhai which were really good. Also even tried the dum kabob - full of flavor !!

I've wanted to go to this restaurant for almost a year, but was never in the area. I regret not coming sooner. For starters, I had the papdi chaat. It is a very large portion, generously covered in yogurt and chutneys. It was surprisingly slightly spicy, and the flavors mixed really well. Next I had the chicken kadhai with garlic naan. This is the first time I've ordered garlic naan from a restaurant where the garlic is not burned. You can taste the fresh garlic, and the naan is soft and warm. The chicken was very tasty and juicy. The gravy in the kadhai was amazing. Finally, I ordered the ras malai- the best tasting ras malai I had in my life. I will be back. Not only is their food amazing, but they have a kids menu!! Double win!!

This was the cutest little place! I loved it. It was so pretty inside. The playing was pretty, the seating was pretty. It was just so cute. I had the two samosas which came with a little sweet sauce. Delicious. The buttered chicken was spicy but delicious. I got medium and as a Hispanic, I must say, the spicy for this culture is a different level. None the less DELICIOUS. Very tasty. The server was very pleasant and she was nice. She was attentive as well. It was clean, food was great, service was great. I WILL be back.

A fourth return trip and I still love this place and the amazing food that it serves. This time around we tried the Shezuan noodles, the chicken Seekh kebabs, the beef Kati roll, the beef bun kebab, and the butter chicken. We ate until we were stuffed and then we took our remaining food home. You can't go wrong with this place.

Went into Angelo's right next door with my friend the other day and I saw this restaurant next door and told him we should check it out one day. So we went in and the ambience was super cool. We ordered the Papdi Chaat- sweet and crunchy, Gol Gappa which was so unique and tasty with spicy and sweet sauce. Finally the Paneer Karahi which is cheese with peppers and soooo delicious. Absolutely would come back

Karachi Kafe serves up some of the best falooda I've had in this part of the world! The rest of the menu, while not too extensive, is tasty; service is cordial and cheerful. The matka haleem, although not served in a matka (clay pot), is delicious all the same. What keeps me going back to support this business is the kindness and generosity of the owner and management. I noticed that they regularly give out boxes of food to the needy without any questions.

There are very few Pakistani restaurants in US which truly reflects all that is good about Pakistani food and culture . If you want an authentic experience of Pakistani food without visiting the country then this place is it ! Pakistani cuisine is a fusion of West Asian and Indian cuisine as this region has been a melting pot of these two different cuisine influences. That makes it a a very unique fusion cuisine . The service was excellent , we pre ordered the food prior to us getting to the restaurant and the food was ready when we got there . The servers were very responsive and on top of everything. The food does the talking for itself . We ordered Chicken Karhai , Nihari , Biryani and Chicken seekh kabab . These are quintessential Pakistani delicacies and they passed with flying colors in all of them . Not many places in US can do justice to Nihari but this place definitely can do that and more . Nans were soft and fresh . Also ordered Falooda and Kashmiri tea and again they didn't disappoint . Falooda is as good as anywhere on the globe . Now a few words about the ambiance which is actually the best part of this place . They have put a lot of thought and effort in evolving this place to reflect the culture . From old movies to the iconic pictures to the old school jhoola ( swing ) in the middle of the place all were great ideas . If you want to have an authentic experience on the east coast , then should go there for sure .

Date 08/20/2022 06:30 PM Location: Karachi Kafe PARTY OF 7 First experience .. a small cute place. This is a venture started by an x-anchor or TV host. As you enter you cannot ignore the fact the primary focus is mainly on decor where a lot of cute things have been collected from Pakistan. I wish they have paid same attention to the food. FOOD: Chicken Karahi Very generous portion for the price. It was not a Karahi.. more of a saucy Chicken Salan. Trust me on this I know a thing or two about Karahi. Chicken Biryani Points on Presentation and also for half a Potato which all Karachites love. But that was all. The chef over powered the Biryani with Star Anise and it was at a point you want to skip it after 2 bites. Naan Plain Naan was not cooked properly we ordered 4 and could.barely finish 2. As most of them were not cooked properly and were rolled out in a hurry. As some were too doughy on sides. Papri Chaat Excellent Papri Chat .. a bit too salty and lacks some.sweet tamarind chutney which we requested to get more and was served. Bun Kabab This outside of Karachi is most authentic Bun Kabab. Love the taste. Biharee Boti Roll Well liked by the person who ordered it. Zinger Roll Well liked by the person who ordered it. Fries with entries Every batch was cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. Mango Lassi Mango Lassi was acceptable. Nothing extraordinary. Falooda Now this is not what Falooda expected from a true Karachite. A bit too watery or should I say I had better. Overall the place is a good choice if you are in the area visiting looking for traditional Desi food. Bit pricey though. I will not make a special trip to South Jersey for this. Staff from the front of the house needs more training. As there were 3 people attending but had to continously ask for utensils and sauces. Food also came in delays where we didn't get out appetizers or food together. I get there is staffing issues but we were not rushing them. I will rate them 3.5 out of 5 stars. Wish them success and hope your experience is better than mine.

Honestly, it was way too much food for two people, but I wanted to sample everything and I'm glad I did. The seafood was fresh, meaty, and perfectly cooked. Their special sauce was the star of the show rich, garlicky, and at the mild spicy level it had just enough kick to keep every bite exciting without overwhelming the natural sweetness of the seafood. Dipping crab legs into that sauce was pure happiness. The garlic noodles deserve a shoutout too: savory, buttery, and the perfect companion to all the seafood richness. Inside, it's a decent place to meet with friends--spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly you're not walking out smelling like seafood. Service was spot-on, friendly and attentive the whole way through. I enjoyed a cold beer and a mixed drink alongside the meal, and they paired perfectly with all the seafood. Prices aren't bad for what you're getting--seafood is always on the pricier side, but the freshness and portions here make it worthwhile. Definitely a spot I'll be raving about and coming back to again.

We went on a Sunday night and were greeted warmly by the the hostess and got a table right away. Our waitron was quick to appear and was delighted that it was our first time there. She pointed out why we made a good choice --- fish delivered fresh every day and approved by the manager or it was returned to the vendor. She started us with, again, surprisingly good --- and I am a bread snob --- ciabatta bread and very good oil and pesto to dip it in. The reason I gave the place only four stars were two of the recommended cocktails, a smoked Manhattan and a French 75. Both were just fair. I've had a lot better elsewhere, but I bet if you'd stick to simple, classic cocktails, you'd be pleased. I will try that strategy myself next time that we go. Entrees are smallish, but do you want something that's all-tasty, or a generous pile of crap? So I had the grilled shrimp diablo; spicy, but well made with just slightly overcooked pasta, more than enough to satisfy me. She had the grilled mahi mahi with mango ...chutney(?), jasmine rice and broccoli. I tried it --- very, very good. The wine list is adequate; we both liked our choices, Duckhorn sauvignon blanc, for the mahi and Chandon sparkling rosé, which went particularly well with the spicy shrimp. Sorry, we didn't have dessert. Service was quick and very friendly, and the food arrived hot and was quite good. The decor is tastefully well done and the music they play is unobtrusive. Yes. Give Bonefish a try.

Rachel, our server, was truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, warm, and incredibly thoughtful--especially with my son. When the power unexpectedly went out at the Cherry Hill Mall due to the windstorm, Rachel and the staff turned what could have been a disruption into something special. She brought us extra bread and surprised us with a champagne toast for the adults and carbonated apple juice for my son, which made him feel incredibly celebrated. The food was outstanding. The bone-in, dry-aged New York strip may have been one of the most tender, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned steaks I've ever had. Every side was just as impressive--the truffle mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, and crab fried rice were all absolutely delicious. Dessert was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Beyond Rachel, the entire team deserves recognition. The general managers were actively walking the floor, checking in on guests, and the bus staff was attentive and professional. The coordination, hospitality, and genuine care shown by everyone made the evening feel special despite the circumstances. This was hospitality at its best. From the outside, Eddie V's already gives off a polished, upscale feel, and once inside, the jazz playing softly in the background immediately set the tone. We grabbed seats at the bar, which I highly recommend. Pro tip: arrive early if you want bar seating, the bartenders are extremely friendly, genuinely engaging, and it is fun to watch them craft the drinks. We took full advantage of the happy hour menu with a dozen oysters, Wagyu beef sliders, a dirty martini, and a glass of Caymus. The happy hour pricing is a solid deal and the food quality was excellent. Another couple joined us, so we moved to a table and continued into dinner. Appetizers included a Caesar salad, burrata and beet salad, and lobster bisque. The burrata and beet salad was bright, fresh, and zesty and really stood out. The lobster bisque was the one miss of the night, served lukewarm with only a small piece of lobster. For mains, we ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared Chinese-style and the A5 Wagyu dumplings. The sea bass was exceptional, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generously portioned. The wine list is phenomenal with great options by the glass and bottle, and the cocktail program is clearly handled by skilled professionals. This is also a great choice for a romantic night out. The space is dimly lit with unique lighting elements, paired with live jazz that creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere without feeling stuffy. If you are in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit, especially during happy hour. We will definitely be back.

We started with the mini crab balls, lobster bisque, spicy garlic little neck clams, clams casino and the hot smoked white fish. The little necks were really good and the sauce was much spicier than expected. It came with a round roll for dipping all that juice. They were really good. The clams casino was the classic I remember, and they were good, not great. The crab balls were very popular at the table and went fast. They were crispy and had lots of crab in them, I believe it was claw meat. The lobster bisque was also delish. The hot smoke whiting was warm, Smokey and flakey with a wonderful taste. It came with hot butter and was so good we ordered a second plate. For entrees we ordered the mussels in spicy red sauce, the broiled combo platter with shrimps and scallops and a crabby cake. Oyster stew, and baked jumbo lump crab meat. All came with coleslaw, and a side. We got onion rings and French fries and they were good. They weren't the cheap onion rings. They were battered not breaded, and thats how I like them. The spicy clams and mussels really had a kick, so be prepared because it was a little too much for the ladies at our table. The oyster stew was not as thick as we wanted and was a little watery. My crab cake was packed with jumbo lump crab and the whole meal was really delicious and filling. This is why this place has stood the test of time!

Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.
