Sankalp, the new restaurant in town has quick service and trendy seating arrangements with high ceilings. I recommend their Pav Bhaji and Indi-Chini Sizzler (which indeed came sizzling hot on a cast iron pan) although their portion sizes were average at best. I almost wish they had a larger tabletop as we barley had room to to hold all our food comfortably on the table at once. The Rava Dosa was a miss but we enjoyed the Rose falooda in a mason jar. Overall definitely worth a try!

This is an amazing place. Love the food ! Everything is freshly made and has a unique taste. Do have the vada pav if you are from mumbai. We had ordered the Classic and premium thalis on a weekday and they were superb ! A must try. I am definitely visiting this place again!

My kids got menu specials, plus Mango Lassis, and I had Shrimp Biryani. Everything was exceptionally good, fresh and tasty as can be! Our server asked what songs we wanted to hear to "make our experience more memorable!" WHAAAAT?!! This was a first ever for me out of alllll of my dining experiences to date! First was Gerry Rafferty, then Coldplay! Wow!!! We finished our sumptuous meals with peanut butter pie - super rich and delish!!! :)

The service was great, the food was amazing, and the space had a clean, modern vibe with stylish decor. The atmosphere was fantastic. Overall Ratings Restaurant 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Parking: Free Atmosphere The restaurant feels very open. The lighting and decor are thoughtfully done and truly impressive. Cleanliness also stood out--it was spotless. Service This place delivers five-star service at less than half the price. When they brought out new plates after we finished our appetizer, I was shocked--in the best way. Wow, wow, wow. And the owner lived up to everything my friend said--personable, friendly, and incredibly attentive. Since it was my first time, he even offered to play one of my favorite songs over the speaker. They genuinely make you feel like a guest in their home. What We Ordered -Chili Garlic Naan (Very good--not overly spicy at all. It's more of a mild to medium heat, very manageable.) -Vegetable Samosa (Very fresh, perfectly cooked, and flavorful.) -Goat Curry (Absolutely delicious--not overly oily like at some other places.) -Chicken Tikka Masala (Another standout dish, rich and flavorful.) Every dish blew me away. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. One note: if you don't want any spice, order mild. If you want mild to medium heat, go with medium. They're more than happy to accommodate your preference. Final Thoughts This is by far the BEST Indian restaurant I've been to in NJ. I just wish it was closer to where I live. I'd have no problem eating here every day--there are so many great options on the menu. At other Indian restaurants, I sometimes deal with heartburn or indigestion, but I didn't experience that here at all. The service is amazing, the food is fantastic, and the space is beautiful.

All curry are more than good ! every curry taste little different. Not only more spicy or not, very complex of spice mix together and then make great harmony to end it was may be very nostalgic taste for many people but for me it was Top notch. Meat side also I tried all it was good as vegetarian!! I really want to back here. Just mention only us are other countries people. The food is excellent across the board, but a few dishes truly stand out. Their Pani Puri Bomb! is a must-order--bright, punchy, and perfectly balanced, with a burst of flavor that lives up to the name. The Punjabi samosa is everything you want it to be: crisp, well-seasoned, and generously filled. For mains, the kitchen really shines. The lamb rogan josh and vindaloo are deeply flavorful and expertly spiced, with tender meat and rich, layered sauces. On the milder side, the chicken korma and butter chicken are beautifully done--creamy without being heavy, aromatic, and incredibly comforting. Pair any of these with the Kashmiri naan, which is soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. Their signature chicken dum biryani deserves special praise: fragrant basmati rice, well-marinated chicken, and balanced spices all brought together with care and precision. It's hearty, satisfying, and clearly made with attention to detail. Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. Whether you're dining in or taking out, Jalsa Indian Kitchen delivers both quality and consistency. Highly recommended for anyone craving excellent Indian food done right.

I love Indian food myself, and am hoping he will come to love it too. My girlfriend, son and I came in on a Sunday for dinner. All three of us got the buffet, with no extras like mango lassis or garlic naan. For the three of us, including tax and tip, it cost $66.78. That got us a spread of basic Indian dishes like chicken tikka, vegetable korma, palak paneer, rice, naan, two soups, and a variety of fruits, among other things. The goat curry was absolutely outstanding to me - tender and flavorful. The other dishes were decent but nothing special. I'm glad to say my son enjoyed the tikka and the korma. The man in charge was super friendly and attentive, constantly checking on us for water and to clear any plates. Overall we enjoyed it and would come back.

Human beings are funny that way. So for Father's Day, my wife booked a table for six at Mount Masala in Voorhees. This turned out to be an act of touching optimism. When we arrived on a Saturday night, only three other tables were occupied. We could have brought a small marching band and sat immediately. Still, the staff was warm, the room was pleasant, and we decided to order family style. Civilization occasionally gets things right. The sizzling chicken momo arrived first, hissing and steaming like a diva. Sadly, the spectacle outperformed the substance; it was essentially good food wearing a sequined jacket. The chicken tikka momo, however, was outstanding. They were tender dumplings smothered in a sweet, familiar tikka sauce that my boys attacked with an enthusiasm usually reserved for free money. My youngest ordered the chicken makai soup and delivered a concise, pro-level critique: "It's fine." My oldest enjoyed his tofu Manchurian, though his eyes kept wandering to better plates. The beef skinny noodles and chicken Hakku Bakku chowmein were massive and well-made, but they lacked personality. The chowmein tasted like a very good lo mein. Nothing wrong with that, just predictable. The undisputed star was the chicken choyla. It was smoky, spicy, and rich with mustard oil. If the other dishes were polite small talk, the choyla was the eccentric guest telling stories nobody had ever heard before. Everyone at the table kept reaching for it. As for the service, the staff was incredibly friendly but possessed a unique talent for vanishing. Despite the empty room, refilling water and securing extra napkins became a minor side-quest. But then the bill arrived: $120 for six people. These days, taking the family out can feel like financing a small yacht, so this felt like a genuine bargain. Mount Masala isn't perfect, but it's memorable. The choyla and the tikka momos gave me exactly what I've been hunting for: flavors that are unfamiliar, exciting, and well worth getting to know.
