    Crispy Spinach Chaat
    Ashley B.

What a wonderful experience! The lady hosting the front of house was extremely warm and welcoming, and really made this quite the experience. The food was extremely tasty hot and flavorful. I'm just taking off one star just because for some reason, the noise radiated all around you it was hard to have a conversation. Also, it took a bit of time for someone to come to us and take our initial order. Other than that, I would definitely recommend coming. The meal was absolutely delicious and memorable.

Wow!!! Had an awesome experience tonight at Indeblue. My husband and I did the tasting menu since it was our first time here! We got 2 apps, 2 entrees, 2 dessert trios, and 2 chai teas! The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The food came out quickly and our server was very helpful making sure to explain each portion. All the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back to try some more things on the menu!

If I'm concerned spending a little bit more for dinner I was just place not only for the experience but also the taste. Not one item has let me down and I failed to fill me up. And something to consider if you're with the group is sharing items.

Visited Indeblue over the summer with a friend for dinner, and we had a nice time! Indeblue is not too far from the city (~25 min drive), and despite being some construction around the strip mall where the restaurant was, it was easy to get to with plentiful parking. We opted to sit outside, so I can't speak to the interior of the restaurant, but I was pleased with the amount of outdoor seating they offered (and was pleased with the built in fans, too). I didn't realize it was BYOB, so unfortunately, we were sub-optimally prepared, but no big deal! Our server was attentive enough without being over bearing, and they provided insight when we posed questions about menu options. They were also incredibly attentive to the water situation, which was much appreciated given the heat! For food, my friend and I wound up splitting a few different menu items. We share the spinach chaat, roasted beet salad, kaju paneer matar, and the kashmiri. I appreciated the vast menu, and the separation of the vegetarian and non-veg entrees and other dishes made for easy navigation. The standouts were the chaat (nicely crispy with fresh tomatoes, making a unique bite) and the kashmiri (unexpected sweet and savory tastes, but I loved the inclusion of the pistachio). I typically love a beet salad, but the flavors fell flat on this one - I think I was expecting an Indian twist, but that was lacking. The paneer was good too, but I found the proportion of sauce to paneer to be a bit overwhelming. The accompanying rice was OK, but a little dry in my opinion. My meal was solid, but I wish all the dishes I got hit the same way rather than the somewhat discrepant vibes I got. I will say that the portions were quite generous (I took home a lot of leftovers), and the prices were reasonable. There are a ton of options for all taste preferences, so this is a good spot for a group. With as large as a menu as Indeblue offers, I'm sure it's hard to hit the mark on every dish, so I would certainly love to revisit and try other menu items (and bring a bottle of wine). Looking forward to a return visit!

Visited this place a couple of years ago for brunch and after a somewhat disappointing food experience never went back until today. Coerced by other friends and family who urged us to give their dinner a shot we ended up here on a Friday evening and found it to be a surprisingly slow night with just a couple of table occupied. Greeted by a Friendly, knowledgeable, personable server (Lori?) who was the standout and sadly only memorable thing for the evening. 7 star service! (This is a BYOB with plenty of parking and some outside seating.) Passed on the tasting menu ($49) as we did want to get The kabob board - that came with 4 skinny lamb chops, 4 pieces of chicken tikkas and 2 pieces of salmon kabobs. The flavors overall were muted and subtle and perhaps catering to the largely non-Indian clientele. The chops were okay; the salmon was good and the chicken was dry and insipid. Would pass on this board. Should mention that it came with a garlic naan and although this is a matter of personal preference, to us that seemed like an odd pairing with dry kabobs - the accompaniments of a nice green chutney, chipotle infused vinegar and a corn-onion salad could not save the day for this item on the menu. For dinner we had the Lal Maas lamb which was perhaps the only item that was above par. Sauce and the succulent lamb were great. And it came with Malaysian parrotas that were more crispy than flaky. Unimpressive. The Madras chicken conjured the promise of red chillies and curry leaves but was overpowered by the abundance of toasted coconut and unfortunately the sauce seemed like a work-in-progress when it was plated. And finally the mango ice cream was refreshingly fresh and tasty!

Highly recommended by a friend so we decided to go after going to Diggerland. I've had traditional Indian food, but never had modern Indian food and I have to say, this place was definitely worth going to. The place apparently has changed locations several times and they ended up in Cherryhill at this location for the past 5+ years. We had 3 different curries and a poutine with butter chicken curry and a lobster biryani rice. Everything was exceptional. Also, my kids ended up wanting more so we ordered the same dishes twice. The service was excellent, but being the only table could have played a role in that as well. The waitress gave an honest recommendation as to what to order additional of and if we had enough. The place itself in located in a strip mall with other stores. They have ample amount of parking so it's a pick whatever spot you want situation. The decor inside is slightly modern with a bit of Indian flare. Clean clean clean bathroom which is a plus. Can't imagine going to a nice restaurant, but the bathroom situation is subpar. Can't wait to go back again. Also, don't be surprised if they email you something after your visit without you giving them your email. (Super weird and sketchy) but overall I'd go back.

I've been to some Indian restaurants but this is by far the best place I've been to so far the lamb Lollipops are amazing and lobster balls to die for the ambiance is very beautiful even the service were so attentive and professionally friendly.

Awesome Indian food! Love this spot. A little on the pricey side, but very good quality! The crispy Spinach Chaat is a MUST HAVE. It's a wonderful starter. Mandarin salad was not bad. The lamb chops were also an excellent starter. I had the Seafood Biryani as my entree and OH MY! Would certainly come back just for that. Wife had paneer saag, which was like a vegan/cheese lasagna, really tasty. Wonderful variety of Naan and other breads. Really nice menu and specials too. BYOB. We returned for a light lunch one day - masala pouting fries were out of sight and the arincini was delicious as well.

The food is excellent across the board, but a few dishes truly stand out. Their Pani Puri Bomb! is a must-order--bright, punchy, and perfectly balanced, with a burst of flavor that lives up to the name. The Punjabi samosa is everything you want it to be: crisp, well-seasoned, and generously filled. For mains, the kitchen really shines. The lamb rogan josh and vindaloo are deeply flavorful and expertly spiced, with tender meat and rich, layered sauces. On the milder side, the chicken korma and butter chicken are beautifully done--creamy without being heavy, aromatic, and incredibly comforting. Pair any of these with the Kashmiri naan, which is soft, slightly sweet, and perfect for scooping up every last bit of sauce. Their signature chicken dum biryani deserves special praise: fragrant basmati rice, well-marinated chicken, and balanced spices all brought together with care and precision. It's hearty, satisfying, and clearly made with attention to detail. Service is friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which makes the experience even better. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, interiors are very classy, with tasteful decor and a koi pond. While I am a regular at their Hamilton location, I didn't have high hopes that this location could match the quality as it's difficult to replicate recipes for ethnic foods between restaurant locations, but the Maple Shade location serves up equally delicious and high quality food. A bonus is that it serves up traditional North Indian cuisine, as almost every other Indian restaurant in the area has menus that are more noticeably centered around South Indian cuisine, which utilize different recipes despite an overlap in some of the dishes offered. We started off with an order of onion pakoras (4/5). While they are a bit larger than those served at other Indian restaurants, they are well above average in quality and a great way to start off a meal. For meals, we went with the paneer masala and navratan korma. Both dishes were served in a generous portion filled to the rim of the serving bowls. The paneer masala (5/5) was prepared to perfection with just the right amount of spice and delectable tomato-based gravy, and among the best I've had among Indian restaurants in New Jersey. The navratan korma (5/5) was also flavorful and delicious with a nice medley of vegetables. The butter naan (4.5/5) was delicious and fluffy, just the way I like it, although a tiny corner of it was a bit overdone (didn't detract from the taste of it). Service (5/5) by Anil was excellent, as he was warm and friendly throughout the meal, checking in on us to ask if we needed additional rice or anything else. I'll definitely be returning to this Palace of Asia location and would happily recommend them to others looking for quality North Indian cuisine in the Maple Shade/Cherry Hill area.
