Strawberry Smoothie
Vivian R.

We tried bb.q chicken today for lunch and were happy with our food. We walked in and the store was empty, they told us it would take 15-20 minutes to make the chicken. I had their strawberry smoothie which was very fresh and tasty! The spicy sweet chicken was a large portion for the half size and was great quality! It was all white meat and the sauce was mild with good flavor! We would come back here again for lunch in the future!

Secret sauce wings - sweet-spicy, yummy!
Patrick C.

I stopped in to bb.q Chicken for takeaway lunch and picked up one order of the wings with secret sauce and one with galbi sauce as well as the kimchi fried rice. I also picked up extra Chicken-mu pickles (pickled daikon radish). Each order of wings comes with some Chicken-mu pickles (but not enough for me so I got extra LOL). It was a 15-20 minute wait so I also grabbed some white peach yogurt drink. The wings were delicious - great crunchy exterior and the sauces were both delicious. One of us like the secret sauce better and the other the galbi - you can't go wrong with either. I want to try the Mala spice, the maple Crunch and the Gangjeong on my next visit. All of this was great - delicious. The kimchi fried rice could be better, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars. For me, the rice didn't have enough kimchi, and had a bit too much sesame oil - there was plenty of meat and onion, pepper so no complaints there, and it was not a bad kimchi fried rice, it was a good/ok dish and I did eat it all.

Wings were crispy and super delicious. Ordered with them for the first time for the Super Bowl. We got the spicy galbi, soy garlic, and secret spicy. Spicy galbi reminded me of a bbq sauce flavor with a hint of spicy. (My favorite out of the 3) Secret spicy was extremely spicy for me and I couldn't finish a whole wing. Soy garlic is such a classic flavor- can't go wrong ordering it. Nice undertone of garlic flavor. I enjoyed the pickled radish the came with the wings. Sweet, sour, and crisp.

bb.q Chicken, Marlton

I had a craving for dinner. I wanted chicken wings. This place was the first one in the top search results on Yelp that is not a sports bar so I made my way. At 8 pm, most of the people in line were ordering rolled ice cream and boba tea so they were surprised that I wanted chicken wings for dinner. Once we got past that, I chose a spice level and paid for it. The young girl behind the counter said that it would be about 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, I returned and the boneless chicken wings were ready. Still hot from the fryer, they were also hot from the spice. A sweet and sticky sauce with plenty of "go!" to it, I took one bite and realized I would need help. I packed them back up, drove to the grocery store and bought a bottle of blue cheese dressing and a cold beer. I was able to enjoy the rest of the wings with liberal application of the cool dressing and the colder beer. Flavorful and tasty and quite meaty. Kimchi Bowl - wow big portion!
Tricia G.

We did a take-out order (on the company) from work, which is always appreciated! I had the Kimchi bowl, and it was so good, EXCEPT I didn't like the green peppers and some of the "mystery" vegetables in it; I picked them out (which was hard b/c there were a lot in there). Big portion! I loved the rice itself, along with the egg and chicken. The spice level wasn't too hot for me - it was perfect. I wish they had descriptions on the menu instead of just pictures. I may have gone with something else (only b/c of the vegetables - not a big fan of most of them). Worth a try!

White peach green tea

Fried chicken, it should just be my middle name at this point in my life. Saw this spot on my way home and being hungry seemed like a no brainer. Lots of people were coming in for drinks, lots of choices. Since the chicken is cooked to order i got myself a white peach green tea. Delicious and refreshing. Wings are good but I'm a huge drumstick fan so I went with original, half order. Lots of chicken, juicy and flavorless unfortunately. Good crunch on the skin. It was actually pretty spicy too so not sure if some seasoning got mixed up together. Maybe it was an off day, maybe I should try the wings flavored.. Very friendly & polite staff, quick and easy service.

Gangnam Style Wings

One of the greatest things Philadelphia has to offer is a wide variety of spots to get Korean fried chicken. When I first started working in the Cherry Hill/South Jersey area, I wanted to see what options were closer than crossing the bridge and dealing with street parking. When I stumbled upon this place online, I realized I was already familiar with the "bb.q Chicken" franchise. While this spot is its own freestanding location, several bubble tea shops sell Korean fried chicken under the same license/franchise. The first thing I was excited to see was that this freestanding location offered a ton more flavors than any of the bubble tea spots that sold bb.q chicken. Other locations had a maximum of 4 flavors. This place had at least 10-12. Additionally, the menu offered several sides including a variety of fries and Korean rice cake dishes. Unfortunately, this particular location only lets you get one flavor if you are ordering a small (9-piece) wings. I was with a friend, so we decided to both get the small order in our own flavors and split them. We got one order of the Gangnam Style bone-in wings and one order of the seasonal Maple Crunch wings. We each ordered fries: one order of plain and another of Cheesling Fries. We placed our order over the phone. The employee taking our order was very pleasant and made sure to confirm our order a second time to ensure accuracy. She let us know it would be about a 25-minute wait. My friend and I arrived just about 20 minutes after ordering. There was a pretty good number of customers inside, likely because it was a Friday night. The space was very clean, and there were several tables in the cafe. This spot also has its own bubble tea and rolled ice cream business inside the same location. This was a nice surprise to see, likely somewhere I will revisit. My friend and I walked up to the register to pick up our order. The employee was pleasant,m and gathered all of our items quickly. I'd say pricing on this is solid; around $45 for 2 orders of small wings and 2 sides. Since this spot is more fast casual without table service, we decided to eat our food inside. Despite our suspicious of how Maple Crunch wings would taste, they were AWESOME. They combined the perfect sweet, garlic, and buttery flavor. The Gangnam Style flavor was decent; it offered a nice balance of some heat with a bit of sweetness and garlic/pion flavor. Both flavors had the super crispy crunch that Korean fried chicken is known for. The sides were a bit lacking. To my own personal disappointment, they serve crinkle style for both the regular and Cheesling fries. I find crinkle always lacks a bit of crunch and is too soft. The Cheesling powder was spot-on with other Cheesling I've had at Korean restaurants. It's a sweeter dry powder that also has some tanginess. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with my experience. The customer service was very good. The wait time was even earlier than we expected. While the sides weren't my favorite, the chicken definitely met/somewhat exceeded expectations. I'm glad to have a reliable Korena fried chicken spot in South Jersey.

Hot Spicy Wings
Nicki P.

Have tried the hot spicy, soy garlic, spicy galbi, and Gangnam style here. My fav is hot spicy- it is crunchy, flavorful, and juicy. Next would be Gangnam style and soy garlic. Gangnam style has a nice pool of flavorful sauce at the bottom of the wing container. You can really taste the garlic in the soy garlic wings (yum), bring gum. Finally the spicy galbi- for some reason the crunch in these wings is not the same as the other wings. The breading even looks different. I ate out of 2 orders of these wings, but both were the same. Not crunchy, but still juicy. Flavor is good, but i was expecting it to be a bit spicier. Kimchi rice is very flavorful, and you get a lot. Oreo boba is underwhelming, but other flavors are good. I will be back for more!

Flavorful chicken. It's great even the following day. Service is quick and efficient. We typically order for pick up vs dine in.

Golden Original Wing, Ddeok Bokki, French Fries with cheese. Cold Cole Slaw.
Terri K.

I was craving some spicy dduk boki, it was okay. The flavor was exactly what I was looking for, Unfortunately, they didn't have much other stuff in it. They put half a hard-boiled egg, a couple of pieces of cabbage, and 2 pieces of fish cake. If you want just duduk and soup it is fine but traditional duduk boki should be more of a thick sauce with other ingredients. It definitely wasn't worth the money. Service and chicken are always great and delicious at this location. Never forget to pack us the radish pickle. Will definitely repurchase the chicken but have to pass on other stuff.

I went with the box combo because I wanted to try the coleslaw along with the bread, chicken & fries. OK, the bread is great. Soft, buttery. Should this have been toasted more? No, it was great as is. Next the coleslaw, tasty. Is it the way I make mine, no, but I liked this, and it balanced the flavors out. The fries, a little soft, hot, and flavorful. Probably in my top 2 favorite fast-food fries. The chicken, great crispy coating, seasoned really well and juicy meat. It's a pretty big portion so I had some the next day, just threw it in the air fryer and was tasty all over again. The famous cane sauce is a good dipping addition. Drink of choice, lemonade. It was excellent, not overly sweet. I didn't get to check out the inside but loved the Marlton painting on the side of the building. Definitely check this place out.

But this night when I went to order was apparently like national fried chicken sandwich day or something because that's how I got my free fried chicken sandwich with my wings order. I put the order thru the website and it said half hour wait. I didn't believe that time so I gave it more 45 minutes and in total about an hour wait. The guys were cooking up a storm. The wings were great. The garlic parm wasn't overly garlic, the spicy Korean had a sticky sweet heat to it and the fries I got with extra seasoning. The fries weren't super hot when I got home but 3 minutes in the air fryer was perfect. Their ranch sauce is phenomenal. I'm not joking. The chicken sandwich (which i heated up the next day) was really good, simple bun, few pickles and a good slather of hot sauce. Obviously I dipped this in the ranch sauce too. The wings and fries combo came with a drink that I almost forgot about but the guy finishing up my order made sure I got a cup and I happily went about my night.
