This is the best shop around. Multiple cars of ours have been fixed / cleaned here and every time…read morethey come back perfect! They even cleaned the inside and outside of my cars each time. They also have really clean rental cars on site, that made my drop off and pick up easy. Thank you to everyone at Ultra Shine, this is the only place that I will allow to fix mine or anyone in my family's car.

Response to Heather: I responded to your email with no response at 9:50am so this is the response…read moreyou sent as opposed to addressing my email directly which I transparently shared in the review. Second, the issue again is service. Your staffs service was the issue which I believe I clearly articulated. I would hate for that to get lost in your response for others as they are making their own decisions about patroning your auto shop. Please note, Yelp is a space for the consumer to share insights not engage in a debate with ownership when their is no accountability or direct addressing of the post. So to be clear, my issue is the service when I arrived and as I was interacting with Mike and I in no way indicated your service was poor. Now your comment stating that I wasn't spoken to "how I would like" implies zero accountability for the customer experience. I would like to have questions answered and be able to discuss the work done on my car as would anyone with the person reviewing it. Your message fails to address that sole issue. Again, best of luck with your philosophy and business approach, as it clearly works for others and not for me. I would just would review, if this is your approach, your Yelp history description where you explain that treating people well is a priority. That must have changed. Original response: I guess the experience depends on who you are and what you're perceived ability to finance you vehicle is by the employees. I am off for parental leave and just in survival mode as one tends to be in the first weeks and was not wearing my executive suite or clothing, so unfortunately no one would not know that I run a small organization. Apparently that determines the service because when I arrived for an estimate, I was excited because this auto shop comes HIGHLY recommended. I was going to spend several thousand dollars to fix a small fender bender and then ask about detailing services. However I will not be engaging with this organization again because I was treated with such indifference that I can't imagine patroning this organization. When I arrived, and was assigned someone to draft the estimate, I approached this staff member, I believe his name was Mike, and asked questions because I had already gotten a quote. He would not look at the other estimate I had and didn't discuss anything with me. I was told that the price will be the same as the other shops and that I should just check my email for his estimate and we can talk then. I left wondering why I came if at places like Waldron Carstar, sat down with me and went point by point and discussed options and advised me as I asked questions BEFORE and AFTER I received their estimate. They treated me like a valued customer and tried to create a work plan that worked for me as a drop in. I went to 3 other shops and got same day estimates. This individuals quote came 12 hours later. Their work is probably great, but their treatment of me as a customer was disappointing given how much work I was intending to pay for. In my opinion, auto service is expensive but the customer service and care shouldn't be optional because that is essentially the only difference from shop to shop since "it's the same price" according to their rep. Fun fact, their quote was the most expensive quote. Go figure lol Update: The response was "I am sorry the estimator did not converse with you the way you would like." Again, customer service appears optional. My response was as follows when the manager referenced their reputation as well: "I actually came because of the reputation, including the fact that I was looking for detailing estimates as well but I never got to that. Because when I approached your staff and asked questions, again I was told that the price will be the same and that I should just check my email. I left wondering why I came if at places like Waldron Carstar, sat down with me and went point by point and discussed options and advised me as I asked questions. They treated me like a valued customer and tried to create a work plan that worked for me as a drop in. I went to 3 other shops and got same day estimates. This one came 12 hours later. But again, this is not meant to be an insult or belabored discussion. Just feedback. I will let you get back to you every day business but just remember, auto service is expensive but the customer service and care shouldn't be optional because that is essentially the only difference from shop to shop since "it's the same price."

Having never needed a body shop in more than 30 years of driving, I had no idea what to look for in…read morea body shop - brought it here because it looks like a professional facility when my car was rear ended, causing about 8 thousand dollars worth of damage. First time I went to get the car, there were issues I noticed with runs in the paint and some chips not fixed, so I did not take the car and they fixed some of the issues, but some of the smaller imperfections were not fixed. I needed the car so I took it. It was due for inspection, so I went straight from shop to inspection facility, where it failed because a rear marker light was not connected, requiring another trip to the shop. When the owner brought car to my house the last time, he admitted to issues with 'quality control' with my vehicle, and offered to take it back to fix it again. I did not follow up on this though, I thought I could live with a few runs in the paint and other relatively small issues, and decided to just deal with it and move on. Then I noticed a bigger issue - the gap between the trunk lid and bumper is uneven, and the trunk rubs the paint when I close it, causing visible marks. Day after I notice this, I got a note from the owner reminding me of their 100% guarantee to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' So I sent an email to the owner, 2 weeks ago now, saying the following: "To be blunt, I think that you/your staff are either not skilled enough to fix the car correctly - or do not care enough - to meet your stated goal to 'restore your vehicle to its condition prior to the accident.' I called my insurance company because I feel like the quality of the work is insurance fraud, but they said they do not get involved in these things. I do not want to bring the car back to you for repair again, because as noted above, I have no reason to believe you can fix it correctly - remember, the first time I came to pick up the car I did not take it because of several issues with workmanship that I noticed - and I am not a trained auto body technician or a painter. While some improvements were made, there were still some flaws I noted from the first time, but I needed the car and there was some improvement so I took it. The car then failed inspection because a light was not connected, resulting in a third trip to your shop. As you noted to me at the time you brought the car to me, there were some issues with quality control when repairing my car. The options, as I see them, are for you to partially refund my insurance company, or for me to bring the car to a different shop to get it fixed correctly and send you the bill." I have received no reply to this message. I will post pictures if I can. SO, long story short, bring your car here if you want it fixed correctly, maybe, the 4th time.

They were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment right…read moreaway. My insurance estimated that it would be about a week before the repair was complete, but they finished in 3-4 days! They detailed and cleaned it, inside and out! My car looked better than it did when I bought it! They offered to go into detail on all of the work that was done. And just to make it sweeter, they gave me a cupcake! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
