A bit of an overdue review but had such a great experience with Ken and Rob and the Roche Collision Team. Last October - I hit a deer going full speed on a highway with my 2017 Honda Civic. Me and my family thankfully were safe and unharmed from the impact but we were really concerned with the logistics on managing the repair. This was a lease and we had some additional concerns on if the vehicle was totaled and what we needed to do to get it to Honda's lease return inspection standards. As you can see from the damage, this was a huge repair job for the Roche Collision team and they did amazing work. The repair process took about 6 weeks or so and Rob and Ken were extremely communicative throughout the entire time. They took care of managing the repairs AND ensured that my insurance company (Geico) was doing their job as well - it really made my role in the process essentially worry-free. They provided quotes, paperwork and any other necessary items that I needed to ensure that my insurance claim was all in order. They were helpful in coaching me and teaching me about the repair/car insurance world and helped put my concerns at ease. In regards of the quality of their work, they went above and beyond. They ensured that my Civic met Honda's standards and they worked with their contacts at Honda Newton to ensure the vehicle met OEM standards. Fast forward to last month (July 2020), I had to go return the car as was at its lease-end. Honda did the inspection and everything was up to par! Prompt. Courteous. Communicative. Good Value. The customer service you receive from Roche will be second to none when compared to other body shops in the Newton, MA area. I had a substantial dent on one door (requiring the door panel to be replaced) and some lesser damage on the other door on the same side. Their estimate was in the middle when it came to the three I received. Not the cheapest nor the most expensive. But I felt it was the best value and the best, most thorough explanation when talking through the work that was needed. The body work was completed and the door panels look like new. There was a minor issue with one of the mirror cameras which I only realized when I parked at home. Ken and team took the car back the next business day, making sure my transportation needs were covered and that I didn't suffer further inconvenience from being without my car. Again, great customer service. I hope not to need them again, but I am sure I will because I drive a car in Massachusetts. They will be my only body repair shop I use. read more

Over the decades, I've been a customer here so often, they should probably have a reserved parking space for me. They do meticulous work, on schedule, and at a fair price. They are also extremely trustworthy and thoughtful. I hope in this review I am able to convey what a phenomenal experience I had both recently and previously with Roche Collision in Newton, MA. My car was side-swiped by a hit-and-run driver, likely a truck, severely damaging the entire left side of the car including rear quarter panel, both doors, rear-view mirror, front quarter panel, grill, headlight and front bumper, and all the associated parts below. Ken handled every element of the repair from start to finish in a manner that was professional, straightforward, honest, knowledgeable, thorough, kind and fair. Ken took care of every detail, from towing the car to his shop, informing me at every step, going out of his way to get the right parts at the most reasonable price, repairing small details unrelated to the crash at no cost to me (or my insurer) and getting the car back exactly on time with the car looking like it was professionally detailed. Along the way he managed a problem with a snow tire destroyed in the crash that was temporarily out of stock everywhere. Ken cleverly got the car to the tire store I use, had all 4 non-snow tires mounted, and got the car back to me with a credit so I can replace the snow tire when it becomes available before I need it next winter, a brilliant solution fair to everyone involved in which he did all the work and I was made whole without any effort on my part. Although I had never had auto body work of this magnitude done before, I had used Roche Collision over the years and always had a great experience. This one, though, put Ken and his crew to a phenomenal stress test, and they could not possibly have done better. I think I have the experience to make me credible, and believe if you use Roche Collision you, too, can have the kind of experience I did. I hadn't had an accident in decades and dreaded bringing my car to a body shop in the middle of winter. Ken explained everything up front, it would take awhile because they were backed up. He kept me up to date during the repair and couldn't have been more friendly and professional. Everyone I dealt with in the shop was extra friendly as well. Not only was the quote priced fairly, but the level of professionalism and flexibility for when they could get the work done was incredible. I dropped my car off on a Saturday and it was ready by Wednesday. Ken communicated with me about the progress of the repair all week, which was very reassuring.
