Hynes Collision provided excellent service from the moment I arrived. I was greeted promptly and warmly by the friendly staff at the front desk, without having to wait. Joe T. immediately took the time to address my concerns, carefully evaluating my car and explaining what needed attention. I especially appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, and genuine concern shown throughout my visit. It is refreshing to receive service that is both efficient and personal. I would highly recommend Hynes Collision and its staff to anyone looking for knowledgeable, attentive, and trustworthy service. read more

I had a wonderful and easy experience. Coming in I had some terrible news and the last thing I could think of doing is dropping my car off and filling out all the paperwork. Everyone immediately saw and came to help me out and was very kind. I can't thank them enough for how easy they made the process for me. When I went to go pick up my car, Vincent was the one that worked on it. He was extremely friendly and nice and showed me my car. He did such a wonderful job on my car and leaving some extra thoughtful things behind. Thank you so much again and hopefully nothing bad happens but I would definitely be coming back for sure! read more

I had a great experience with Hynes Collision Center in Belmont. I dealt with Vincent and he was very professional and answered all my questions with professionalism and kindness. Needs mention: In late July, a young woman making an illegal U-turn in the parking lot at Barnicle Billy's restaurant in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, ME, bumped into my parked car, cracking the bumper. The great attendants got all her info, filed a police report, and, incidentally, had video of the whole fiasco. I was in the restaurant. My insurer & her insurer did not perform particularly well, but the Hynes Collision Center in Belmont, MA did a great job, going well beyond the minimum required. Joe, the team member at Hynes who did the work on my car, was terrific! I cannot recommend them highly enough! Thank you Joe, and thank you Hynes! read more

I hate to say it but I do have to come here often this is not the first time they've fixed my car. And every time they do the best work, they are the kindest gentleman. They get everything done in time, and they cleaned my car inside and out. If that's not top-tier service I'm not sure what it is. I wish they did more than just body repairs because that would be the best shop to have to do normal regular things as well. read more

My Jeep was involved in an accident. I brought it to Hynes Collision Center in Belmont. Everything went very smooth. The work performed on my vehicle was top notch. My vehicle looks excellent. They even go as far as cleaning up the interior of the car and wheels! EMILIO does great work. If I should get into an other accident, I will be returning to Hynes. THANK YOU read more

I just had my brand new car repaired after someone crashed into it while it was parked (and didn't leave a note). My insurance company recommended Hynes, and I had an excellent experience. Vincent Lee handled everything, communicating with me clearly from the minute I talked to him on the phone to the day I dropped it off to the day I picked it up. The quality of the repair was perfection, and our car color (Ocean Gem) is hard to match. When we picked up the car, it looked better than when we bought it! Vincent was so great to work with - a true professional. read more

Top notch service all around. They took care of everything from working with our insurance company to setting up a rental car. Everyone is professional, helpful and friendly. Last but not least, the car looks great! I highly recommend! read more

I want to preface this post as being a person who had a couple of bad auto body experiences in the past! Emilio and the entire office team at Hynes Collision in Belmont really went the extra distance to earn & deserve the post. The project was a small fender bender, but we were able to get things scheduled in advance so the parts were there. Drop off and rental went very smoothly and LESS than 3 days later the vehicle was back in my possession. Good work and great customer service deserves a shout out to this business . 5 stars read more

Getting your car repaired after even a minor collision is never fun, but the team at Hynes Collision makes the process smooth and stress-free. I worked with Vincent, who was consistently helpful, courteous, and kept me updated on the status of both my claim and my car. The repair work itself was flawless. I can't tell my car was ever in an accident. And I really appreciated the detailing. I hope I don't need collision repairs again, but if I do, I'll definitely return to Hynes Collision Center. read more

2013 Volvo S60 T5 - Hynes Collision does great work and they do it on schedule. Worked with Emilio and the damage on the driver's door was expertly repaired. Great paint matching and Emilio kept us up to date during the process. The car was also finished two days early... Will highly recommend and go back again (if needed). read more

My car was hit by another car and left a dent near the front door in the morning. I stopped by Hynes Collision store in Belmont a little after 5pm when the office should be closed trying to get an estimation of the cost for fixation. One employee (I forgot asking his name) checked my car and made the dent nearly disappeared in a few minutes for free! I am very thankful to his help! I highly recommend this place! read more

Tried so hard to review them on their website but the links they sent never worked for me... But I had to review them so decided to do it here on Yelp. They were so responsive and so easy to work with. They went way above and beyond.. I saw something that I thought needed a bit of attention when I went to pick up the car.. .they agreed and couldn't get to it for a couple of hours so they had me take the rental home, fixed my car perfectly, and then they actually drove it to my house and picked up the rental from there. They did a phenomenal job. Highly recommend. read more

My car is still in the shop and I will give an update after, but their service has already been wonderful. I have never experienced nicer people at an auto body shop! They were able to take me in the next day, made sure my rental car was ready when I arrived and were extremely helpful. They even called ME with updates a few days after it went in. When does the shop ever reach out to you proactively?! UPDATE: My car turned out wonderful and was on time. They replaced my door and it looks flawless. Will definitely recommend to anyone in need of repair services! read more

Unbelievable customer service after a very upsetting hit and run. Completely smooth process working with Hynes and Geico. My vehicle was finished way ahead of schedule and looked BRAND new when I picked it up. I was so pleasantly surprised to find it completely detailed inside and out as an added bonus. I would highly recommend Hynes Collision to anyone who is in need. I'm so grateful for them and the stress free service they provide. read more

Shocking all the way through...in only the best way. Told me how long it would take and they beat it by three days. Called to update several times. Their work was perfect. Picked up the car which they'd cleaned both inside and out. Felt like I had a new car. So surprised how smoothly it all went and at the perfect quality. You don't run in to this sort of experience very often. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again, although I hope I don't have to. read more

I had my Subaru repaired at Hynes Collision. They did an amazing job; they made my car look and run like new. I was rear-ended ten days before driving 1000 miles to my new home state--there was a tight deadline. Hynes Collision did everything in their power to make the process painless. The team went well above and beyond to ensure my car was ready in time for the big move--they were efficient with their time, true with their words, and always polite. I highly recommend Hynes Collision. read more

I've worked with Hynes Collision Center on a couple of occasions. Getting into an accident is no fun, but I know when it happens I have professionals like these guys waiting to help out. I worked with Santos and he was amazing at giving me prompt updates and being concerned with getting My car back to me as quickly as possible, even though it wasn't necessary and I had plenty of time. They did a fantastic job repairing damage to My vehicle, and it looks brand new. Also, they are handling the pandemic really well by sanitizing writing utensils, having sanitizer available, and protective glass. I felt extremely comfortable in there. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else. read more

Amazing service and workmanship! I had the front of my car damaged in a fire, and after being told by the insurance company would be totaled, Hynes worked with me to repair the car. Why would you go anywhere else? Hynes is top tier as far as auto body shops go, you simply can't find a better shop. My dad owned many repair shops over my life and I spent my childhood around all sorts of auto repair facilities. His shop was the CLEAN one in town and he was well known county wide for his customer service. As a result I have very high standards because I've seen it all from the inside out. I own my vehicles for 10+ years and have certainly needed plenty of auto body repair over the years, I've played this game many times. My vehicle sustained damage in my business's parking lot from a fleet vehicle that shares the same lot with us. They agreed to pay cash for the repairs but requested I at least get an estimate from the shop they use for their vehicles. Their place was "typical" of most shops. Dirty, hectic, about what most people would expect if they don't know any better. I'm really glad I went there because the estimate came in almost exactly the same as Hynes. My car has 3000 miles on it and is basically brand new. If you could choose between white glove or greasy hand service for your vehicle and pay the same either way, which would you choose? If your insurance company wants you to use their shops, tell them you'll only consider Hynes. It's the law. Hynes is spotlessly clean in a beautiful building in a fresh part of Belmont. The owner is great as is the other front desk guy. The work was preformed to exacting standards and the BEST part? I had my car back in just over 48 hours! What!! The damage looked minor but still required many parts and paint. That kind of turn around is simply amazing. I know that if any issue comes up with the repair (which I do NOT expect) it will be handled quickly and professionally, that's how they roll. Read the reviews, they've earned every one and it shows. I'd only suggest going someplace else for an estimate so you can really appreciate what you're getting when you take your vehicle into Hynes. Simply the best, bar none. It takes a lot to rise so far up you have no competition, good work guys. read more

Known these guys for a long while now. They never fail to impress. Top notch work they make the whole thing relatively painless.

Updated Got my car dent fixed here. they did a solid job and the dent area looks like new. The outside and inside detail cleaning was a nice touch. plus the extra touch up on the rear bumper was a sweet gesture the staff was nice and courteous The business owner was very helpful replying to my concerns on yelp! I will definitely go back to this place if needed be read more

My car got rear-ended and I took it to Hynes based on reviews here on Yelp. The bumper needed to be replaced and painted to match the car. When I went to pick up the car, the paint on the bumper was wrong. It was at least a tone off color. When I pointed it out to them, they tried to point out the difference in colors between other panels. I couldn't see a difference like they were pointing out. I insisted that the bumper be repainted so that it would match. (The car is a creamy white, and they painted the bumper bright white - it looked bad!) They fixed the car and made it right. This is the second accident I've ever been involved with in my life, and I was glad that they fixed the car and made the bumper the right color, but I was put off by their thinly veiled attempt to pass it off as "it's just like the front bumper", when it was really wrong. I'm a "car guy" and was looking very closely to see if the paint was right. I give them 3 stars only because they fixed it and made it right. read more

We took our car here after my husband rear-ended the tow truck taking our OTHER car to another garage. Yeah. This place is on Liberty Mutual's "approved" list and they have an appraiser on staff. They did a great job fixing everything on our car and had it back in a reasonable timeframe. The office staff is really great and we have no complaints. We did notice, after getting our car back, there was condensation under one of the headlights (meaning it was not re-installed correctly). Hynes fixed it for us in an hour the day after we noticed, making sure to get us sorted out and ensuring neither my husband or I needed to take time off work. I appreciated that they corrected this mistake so quickly and conveniently! read more

Just like everyone else, Hernan was absolutely wonderful to deal with. I was also hit by a stupid driver and had damage to my Subaru on the back right side and bumper, and even though my insurance handled everything, Hynes Collision was extremely professional, fast, and courteous. Great, friendly and trustworthy service. These people treated me like I was a VIP throughout the entire process. They fixed a dent in my bumper and then noticed that my headlights were foggy, so they polished the plastic over the headlights free of charge. So nice! They clean your car inside and out before you pick it up. These guys are the greatest! read more

This is a wonderful shop with great, professional staff. After dealing with incredibly incompetent folks at the insurance company of the driver who rear-ended me, my experience with Hynes was a welcome change of pace. They were thorough, fast, and provided great service. Hernan was courteous enough to order the parts for my car before even receiving payment from the insurance company in order to ensure that they would arrive by the time I dropped my car off. And he called me in advance to let me know of a delay in shipping. I was told it would take at least a week to repair my car, but they did it in 3.5 days, which is even more impressive because of the holiday this week. I am so glad I went to Hynes - they made an already stressful headache of a situation far more pleasant. Definitely recommend them for quality service and repairs. read more

I highly recommend Hynes. They fixed my front end after an accident and did an amazing job. Hernan in the front office is friendly and so easy to work with. Through no fault of Hynes, my car had some unforeseen issues that made the job take longer than anticipated, and Hernan kept me informed every step of the way. He worked with my insurance company to make sure my rental was covered since the work was taking longer. I would definitely return to Hynes. read more

Fantastic experience. Someone knocked into my car and my insurance partnered with this garage to get the car fixed. They were very polite, kept us updated on the progress and let us know when the car would be ready: earlier than they estimated. When we picked up the car it was cleaned inside and out. They dealt with the insurance company as well. I hope I don't need to use them again but I would highly recommend them. read more

So I was rear ended by another stupid New England driver (why is that New Englanders dont know how to drive?) and my car was taken here to get the bumper fixed. Hernan who works in the office, kept me informed via email and phone on the status of my car, and that the other driver's insurance was paying for everything, etc. They did an amazing job on the rear bumper, tire well etc. You can't even tell the car had been hit. AND on top of that great work, they detailed the inside of my car for me!! It looks great, like new! Hopefully, I wont be needing any more body work done to my car, but if I do, I'm taking it back here. read more

This is my second time taking my truck to Hynes Collision, first time was a rear-end accident, and this time was a hit-and-run. These guys do excellent work! No need to look anywhere else for a body shop! This is a family run business, hard-working people, they take pride in their work and stand behind their service! I'd like to give a shout out to Hernan and Santos who helped me with my claims. If they're partnered with your insurance company, they will deal directly with the adjuster for any extra costs due to hidden damage or unexpected issues, truly a seamless and hassle-free experience for the customer! The repairs were competed when they said it would be, and if any hidden damage or issues popped up, they kept me updated with the repair process and timeline. Very organized and fully documented! You will see the amount of labor, parts, and time they spent in your repair summary. To any prospective customers, I too was looking at yelp reviews before picking Hynes Collision. If there's any doubt in your mind about any of these reviews including mine, just look at their history, drive by their shop, or stop in and talk to them about how they can help you! You know a business is doing good things when their lot is always full, cycling through customer's cars! read more

Not really a body shop just a way to collect insurance money. After a low speed rear-end of a minivan (bumper indented, bumper-cover cracked, slight dent in rear hatch), we took it to Hynes. Immediately the salesperson said we should 100% think about using insurance to cover it. He then "calculated" the repair costs, and the total was $6,666. The item list included labor for simple things. For instance just to open the car door they listed labor as $0.40. I took the car home and did it myself. Total cost was $230 plus a day of labor. Basically this place is a scam. I guess if you're a rich Belmontian and love spending insurance money than this is the place to go. I would even go to claim that this isn't even a real bodyshop--as they would rather just replace every panel with a completely new one rather than try to remove the dents using heat guns/ other methods. To summarize: quoted cost: $6,666. Did it at home and fixed the damage for only $230. read more
