John was super helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to make my car drivable while I wait for the estimate for insurance and explained things well. I went to a different shop before I found them and they were so demeaning and unhelpful that I took my business elsewhere and I'm glad I found J&K! Night and day difference. I am so grateful! read more

Incredibly honest shop that performs great work. My wife had the mirror knocked off her car while parked and they were able to salvage the mirror body and get her a replacement connection cheaply. I had a major dent in the side of my car. Most places would have said I needed to replace the entire door. They went in there "old world" style with hammers and tapped the dents out. Looks great. 10/10. read more

J & K Auto Body is an outstanding, honest, family-owned shop that my family has used three times -- and it has exceeded our expectations every single time. John, the owner, is honest and explains everything clearly, which is refreshing and rare. He works hard to fight low-ball insurance estimates to ensure the required work actually gets done right, even when it exceeds what the insurance adjuster initially approved. Beyond accident repairs, John and his team have gone out of their way to fix pre-existing, non-accident-related issues at very low cost. The workmanship is excellent, the service is professional and quick, and the value is outstanding. This is truly a gem of a local business -- highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy, top-quality auto body shop in the Boston area! read more

They are a wonderful family owned business. They fixed my mirror quickly. They also were recommended by my insurance company My new go to place for anything concerning bodywork read more

Wow this is the best auto shop and I'd HIGHLY recommend it to anyone! I've never dealt with an accident or insurance before so I was going in knowing nothing about the process but I'd heard horror stories of places taking forever or charging you for random things. Being a young girl with zero knowledge they easily could've either taken advantage of or been annoyed by my lack of knowledge/experience but it was the exact opposite. They explained everything really nicely and patiently, dealt with all the insurance communications so I did nothing, and literally had the repairs which the insurance estimator guy said could take weeks done OVERNIGHT! They were so nice, really communicative and so fast and did a fantastic job!!! Highly recommend!! read more

I can always tell a business that has pride in what they do by the attention to "little things" like the cleanliness of the shop and how the employees dress. Family run, J & K takes great care in their workmanship which is excellent. And so is the customer service and communication. Their track record of success is significant in an industry not always known for this. If you need auto body repair this is your go to place. read more

These guys are great. Replaced and painted a new rear bumper on my Lexus flawlessly and in a timely manner. I had a completely unrelated front bumper sensor issue . They asked if I could leave the car for a few hours so they could fool with it. They were able to fix it and would not accept additional $ for the repair. Both the father and son have an excellent bedside manner and are very easy to deal with. I am so happy with this place. read more

These guys are honest, quick and do a great job. Brought in my car which was rear ended and they fixed it within a few days, worked directly with insurance, had the car rental come pick me up at their shop. Everything was seamless. Highly recommend! read more

Whether you're getting work done that's out of pocket or through insurance, I can't recommend J&K enough. Always honest, affordable and up front. Every time they'll explain exactly what the issue is, and what my options are for getting my car fixed. I went to a few other shops when looking to replace a door, not only were other places way more expensive, they had also told me I needed to get a brand new door. J&K told me I could get a used door to replace the damaged one at a fraction of the price. Will always go back for any auto body needs. read more

I find it hilarious they post a invoice photo. I brought my 2022 BMW here to get some work done and when I look at that invoice all that comes to my mind is "BAIT & SWITCH"!!! The owner has a temper that is out of this world! I spent over 2k on a simple install! If I went to the dealership it would have been around $600. Stay away from this place by ALL MEANS!!! read more

This is by far the best auto body shop I have ever worked with for all of my cars for 49 years. The wonderful Greek owner took the time and even went the extra mile to make my car look brand new. This is the real deal. Thank you JNK auto body read more

John and team did a great job on my badly damaged car. Took less than 2.5 weeks and they worked well with my insurance and car rental. No hassle, they will have rental agency meet you at the shop and you can drop rental there for agency to pick it back up. What is usually a major inconvenience, they make it very easy. Cleaned and vacuumed my car too. Easy peasy! Friendly, professional and they hooked me up with minor dings. Can't recommend them enough!! Thanks John! read more

Took my 2011 Honda Civic here to fix some scratches and scuffs of my rear bumper. As a female asian driver, i'm probably a suspect of backing up my car into poles and accidentally putting my car in reverse instead of drive. HA. But the truth is, i was actually rear ended at a stop sigh. PAY ATTENTION TO THE ROAD GUYS! J & K quoted me at $375 and i was able to pick my car up by the afternoon with the after dropping it off earlier in the morning. I've only had interactions with John and his father, so i can't speak for the other staff members. But throughout this entire process, i was left with the impression that they're just genuinely really GOOD people. Highly recommended! read more

There is no other place I trust more! Back in 2006 I had some major post accident repairs done here and I was most pleased with the job J&K did. This was my first major accident, I was new to Boston and I was very overwhelmed with the whole process of working with the insurance company to ensure all of the repairs needed were covered and performed. The staff at J&K were very patient, kind, and most importantly thorough. Now 5+ years later I again find myself at their shop in need of major repairs (my car was severely damaged while parked near my home, Happy New Years to me!). J&K took my car upon arrival, discussed the damage they could see with me thus far, and prompted me to inform them of details I may have forgotten about the condition of the car when I found it, as well as information contained within Police Report. Their customer service is top notch! There are few places I have been where I have honestly felt that the business/vendor sincerely cared about me and the concerns. I am very thankful to the wonderful job and service they have provided me. If they ever decide to expand their business to include dental work I'd be the luckiest girl in the world! read more

This place was recommended from a friend. my IS250 front bumper was scratched with dent. My car had a broken mirror so I brought it here - John was so helpful as he helped me contact the insurance company and got me a new mirror instead of a used one. The timing they gave me were all very exact and there were no delays at all. Definitely recommend to whoever need a car repair! read more

The owner, John (senior), insulted me multiple times before I could even introduce myself. I'm a small business owner myself, and I would never speak to a customer like this. I drive a Mercedes CLK, that I wanted to bring in for some repainting and replace the bumper, possibly buffing if they offered it (since some AB shops do). I knew it was going to be expensive, but I am always willing to pay for quality work. Whatever it takes, I will pay it. But first, he says to me "Just by looking at you, I can tell you don't want to spend any money." How do I even respond to that? Judging customers by how they look?! I haven't said two words to him yet. He assumes, since I am a younger guy, I must not have money?! Then after some talking he insults my car "This car is old. It's not worth anything. Don't spend any money on it. I was still young when this car came out." You know it's a Mercedes, right? I love my car! Keep your unprofessional comments to yourself! At this point, I'm beating a dead horse, but I push for a quote anyway. He says "We can touch up the spots with a brush, part ways, but never call me again." Is he confusing me for somebody else? I'm being very polite with him, and he's attacking me with every breath. And can you believe, I drove 40 minutes in traffic to talk to these guys! Unbelievable! First of all, never insult a man's car. I worked very hard to afford this vehicle, and the fact the he so easily insulted me shows that he doesn't care about his customers one bit. I was willing to pay whatever he quoted, but he doesn't deserve my business. Word to the wise, if they don't respect you, what makes you think they'll respect your vehicle when you're not there? I've already found a more respectful AB shop. I will not be recommending any of my friends in the MB club go here. As a final note, John Jr. (the owner's son) was very polite over the phone, but that will never excuse his father's despicable behavior. I think it's time for Mr. Sarianides Sr to retire. You just lost what would have been a very loyal customer. read more

I have an appraisal done by your place and was $1,350 at your location and come to find out that price was only $500.21 at a different shop. You were trying to charge me 7 hours for a paint job and 7 hours for paint "materials" I won't ever recommend your place to anyone. My advice is to be a little more honest and more Professional. Yelp is a public forum for People to see others experiences. So my experience was pretty bad. Thanks. I don't have to contact you. My Insurance took care of my damage. read more

J & K Auto Body - Here is a photo of the estimate. Way to expensive. I only paid $500.21. You try to charge all this money. NO THANK YOU. - Body Shops Near Me - Brighton, Massachusetts

J&K is a lifesaver! Our car was aggressively scratched on the side from parking on the street in Boston. My insurance referred me to J&K, we mostly worked with John. Not only was the car fixed ahead of schedule, but it's perfect. They even cleaned the whole exterior of the car. A+ experience. read more

I needed my front bumper cover repaired on my Camaro Z28. (Foolish me thought I had parked it in gear. Instead it rolled which caused some frontal damage). It is an older car in excellent condition -- my "baby" -- so I had to get it fixed right. I have had some bad experiences with a previous body shop so some friends recommended I check out J & K. I stopped by. John looked it over and determined that the damage was limited to the bumper cover, marker lenses, and maybe headlight mounts. If they could simply bend the mounts, they could save the new headlights I had just replaced. The quote was very honest & reasonable. After 2 days as promised, I came back to pick up the car. I swear that they had treated it like it was brand new, just off the lot. They had gone above and beyond what they had said. All lights were perfectly set and panel alignments were right on. It has now been more than 3 months since my repair and it still looks like new. No shifting parts due to summer heat, no chipping...no peeling... I am overdue with this glowing review. They are the best.....no if, ands, or buts! May John and his crew do well and prosper!! read more

John helped me from the moment I stopped in with my SUV, to the follow-up calls, to the pick-up arrangements. I had two small fender benders that I made clear I only cared that they be fixed enough not to look ghetto, no bells and whistles. John gave me an approximate quote for the bumper to be "undented" and a new front plate to be put on the grill. Also a couple of dents needed to be buffed out. The car was ready when expected and my total bill was $200 - When John was determining costs for parts on the phone and online I was in the room. Transparency is key when fixing your car, and these guys do it right. The work was clean and prompt, and even though I'm some "random chick" I was treated with respect and given the knowledge I needed. read more

Best body shop in Brighton. Very high quality work. Gives you caring and family style service. The owner is a great guy. Believes in the value of his work and word. I brought my 2013 Blue Subaru WRX to J&K at the recommendation of a good friend. I had deep scratches up and down my whole car because a friend cleaned snow off of the car ... with the windshield scraper(!). They basically repainted the entire car and you can hardly tell, they did a really good job. I should mention however that the job took about twice as long as they had predicted (10 days vs 18 days). Luckily I had rental car coverage on my insurance policy so this wasn't a huge deal but if I had been paying for the rental car I would not have been happy. Overall I'm very happy with their work, they matched the Subaru WRX Blue really well! read more

My son had a scratch on the door of his new truck while away at school. He took it to J & K and they fixed the scratch for him immediately on the same day. They were friendly, courteous and professional. I highly recommend J & K to anyone in the area in need of auto repair work. read more

John was extremely professional when I spoke with him on the phone. They worked directly with my insurance company to get my Jeep taken there after I was in a car accident. I nearly cried when I saw the completed work. My Jeep looked even better than it did prior to the accident. They do high quality work and I would go there again in a minute if needed. Aside from the work needed related to the accident, they also buffed out a separate scratch at the back bumper. What great service! I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Brought my ML350 in to address deep gouges on the rear quarter panel and minor scratches on the rear bumper. Showed up without an appointment and John senior came right out to look at my car. He informed me of the various price and quality options (based on the price), so that I could decide. The price to fix both items to "new" condition was about 25% of what I expected the cost to be. We agreed on price, and set an appointment for me to drop my car off in a few days. Before I left, I mentioned a small ding in one of my doors. John offered to fix that for free. My car was completed on time, and as promised. Exceptional service and quality service. read more

Unfortunately, in the five years we've lived in the Boston area, we have been in five accidents, only one of which was remotely our fault (black ice). My review of Boston-area drivers will wait for another time, but for now I can honestly say that the folks at J&K are the only high points in these encounters. They are honest, straightforward, do excellent work, and very reasonable. The one time we took the car in for a non-insurance claim job, they were able to do a quick fix in just a few minutes for a surprisingly small fee. While they are a little distant for anyone other than Brighton Center residents, we still go all the way from Somerville to use them because they are that good. Highly recommended! read more

Absolutely outstanding business. We got our car back after insurance claim work in far better shape than it was before the accident. They removed dents and scrapes that were nowhere near the collision area, and even fixed one of the cabin lights. Also I could swear the car handles and brakes more responsively now than it did before it went in. The owner was kind and helpful, he had lots of useful wisdom about our claim and our insurance in general. read more

A friend of a friend recommended this body shop when a tree fell on what was then a three or four year old Saab 95. Prior to committing to them, they promised me how they'll get the job done on time and the car will be as good as new. They even told me that they'd take care of the bumper rashes for free. Well, it didn't happen. Throughout the process, I kept getting one excuse after another on why they were running late. They said my insurance adjuster wouldn't pay for the parts that they needed which forced them to cut corners. At one point, I saw one of their guys stuffing the headliner with newspaper (this is not a joke). And the bumper rashes that they promised would be fixed. It actually looked worse than touch up paint one could get from the dealer because they did even bother with the clear coat. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

John did it again, perfect job. Fixed major damage affecting the the corner of our Cayenne, several panels (bumper, driver front panels) had to be replaced. Matched silver paint perfectly and delivered the car a week earlier than initially quoted. I will post before and after photos when I get a chance. I was pretty upset when my wife drive her SUV into the utility pole, but thank god everyone was fine and it's just property damage; and I knew John could fix it, and he sure did. This is definitely the shop for body work, have recommended to many colleagues. read more

I have had two great experiences with J&K. John is prompt, polite, and straight forward with his process and pricing. Just before the holidays last December (2014) my almost brand new car was sideswiped by another vehicle. The accident totally destroyed my right side view mirror and damaged the paint and finish on the fender and front panel. The officer who responded at the scene recommended J&K based on the feedback she had heard from other police officers. John handled the details of working with the other driver for payment (who chose to pay cash for the repairs rather than going through insurance), which in itself was incredibly helpful. J&K's price quote was the best out of the three we received, the repairs took less time than estimated, and most importantly my car looked like new when I picked it up. Fast forward to yesterday when I discovered that the same side view mirror was missing its cap. Unfortunately I parked in multiple public lots during the course of the day and each time I approached from the driver's side where the passenger mirror was out of view, so I have no way of knowing where or how it happened. I took my car back in to John today and he ordered the replacement part on the spot. I am confident that I got a great price and that the work will be perfect this time as well. Since December, I have recommended J&K to several friends and neighbors who also had great experiences. While I am bummed to have had occasion to go twice in three months, I am grateful to have a trustworthy auto body shop in my contact list. read more

I've been going to J & K for over 25 years. They fixed my cars from minor scratches and dents to major collisions. They have exceeded my expectations every single time. There was even a time where my car had a good size dent from someone backing into it. When I decided to get it fixed, I though for sure it would costs around $300 or so, knowing John would give me a fair price. But John said he could fix it no problem and come back later in the day. I dropped it off at 10:00 and by 2:00, John called me to tell me it was done. When I picked it up, the damage was gone. No trace that it had any damage! It was like CSI:Autobody, how did he do that good. But, the best part was that he didn't even charge me. Now, that kind of service comes from dealing with a business for over 25+ years. I wouldn't expect that he would do that for everyone, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Him and his son John Jr. really run that kind of business. They're great people who do great work and at honest prices. read more

J&K is probably the best auto body repair shop in massachusetts... Not only did they replace my Honda Accord LX bumper, but they touched up some parts on my car with paint. Just got my car back from J&K today and I couldn't be happier. The price that they quoted me was very reasonable ($400 less than one of the other body shops). They are quite busy, so I had to wait a couple of weeks to drop the car, but I was fine with that. The car was ready exactly when they said it would be and the price was exactly what they had quoted. No games. The repair looks perfect. John and John (father and son) were a pleasure to work with. I have nothing negative to say. Will definitely use them again! read more

I highly recommend J & K Auto Body Shop for anyone who needs their car fixed. You will be received by a very pleasant and honest owner - John Senior. I went to at least 5 body shops and all of them gave me estimates of $1400 - $1500 to fix a dent that I had on the right side of my car. John was less expensive. Also, when I told him that it was a leased car that I was returning in one month, he was able to come up with a more affordable solution. To make the long story short, the result exceeded my expectations! The dealership just completed the car's inspection for damages. The penalty for the damaged was $250! I'm glad to have met John and his team at J&K Auto Body. He saved me from spending $1500 dollars!!! Even though I live 40 minutes away from Brighton, I'll be happy to drive back to them for any future car issues! read more

These guys are great! Friendly, professional, efficient & fairly priced. After getting a run-around from 2 other places just to get my side mirror replaced, I stopped in there yesterday afternoon on my way home from work. They looked at it right away, ordered the part right away, and gave me an estimate. They called this morning, the part was in, told me I could come today or tomorrow morn, no problem either way. I made it there by 4:30, they did the work right away, the bill was exactly the same as the estimate, and the work is done. Sometimes, as a girl walking into a busy body shop by yourself...you might expect a little bit of a run around. I got absolutely none of that! Glad to find a GREAT local business, highly recommend it, and would not hesitate to go back! read more
