Beautiful work. Reasonably priced. Fast turnaround time. Pleasant, kind, knowledgeable, helpful! Would definitely recommend!

I needed some pants with a hole in them so it was a five minute job and cost $15. You decide if that's affordable or not.

Did a good job hemming up jeans, 6 pairs for $140. Seems a little pricey since my last alterations at another establishment on Bell Rd.

He did a great job! Just make sure you drop of your items days before they are needed

Love him he has done such great work & came through for me in a bind multiple times. Made my $10 Ross shirt look like $200 designer fit.

This place is trash‼‼ Go somewhere else!! I paid him cash to hem my scrub pants and he only hemmed one of them but charged me for all 4. He refuses to refund my money even after being confronted multiple times. Spend your money at a small business that isn't robbing hardworking people. read more

I've never used a tailor before, but had two pairs of brand new pants that were way too long for me to wear. I found Kam on yelp, via his great reviews. I went in, and he had me try both pairs on so we could make sure we had the right measurements for hemming. Just a few days later, both pairs of pants were perfectly hemmed (crushed velvet material, and stiff flannel patterned slacks) for only $30! When I went to pick them up, he already had them in his hand before I even opened the door. Honestly, as a person who has had several challenges with finding clothes that fit (I'm short!), I can't wait to look through my closet to see what else I can bring in! Wonderful experience, delightful presence, efficient, perfect service, and an all around pleasure to work with. Thank you so much Kam! read more

Kam hemmed a satin dress for me. I needed 12 inches taken off to make a floor length dress mid-length. I called and no one answered but he called me back within 15 minutes and had me come to the shop and take measurements right away. He had my dressed done within 24 hours and also responded to my text messages. He also only charged $20 or $30. Good price, great service, excellent craftsmen shop. read more

Kam's Alterations - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I found Kam's Alterations after searching on Yelp. After reading the great reviews and close proximity, I thought to give this business a try. I took in my daughter's uniform skirt to be repaired as the hem came undone. The gentleman was kind enough to repair it right on the spot, less than 5 minutes. His work was impeccable, couldn't even tell that the stitching on the skirt ever came undone. The price was reasonableness well. $10 for a craft that is apparent he takes pride in and for the convenience was DEFINITELY worth it. If you're unskilled in sewing like myself and need garments hemmed or repaired, come here. read more

I had two pieces of clothing that needed to be fitted for my dance performance. Pants waist too big and leg too long. My top is too baggy and need to be shrinked at the waist. Definitely multiple jobs on each garment. He did an awesome job, good turn around time, and only charged me $25 for both. Fyi, he only takes cash though. I'd definitely go back again. read more

I went to have my dress done for my daughters wedding, Kam's Alteration worked on my dress to shorten the dress that was to long. My husband picked it up and brought it home, when I tried it on ,it had different lengths short on one side long on on the front, he cut the inside too short. My daughters wedding is in two weeks I cannot order a new dress, so I had to take it to another seamstress to fix the front of the dress, because I was still stepping on it. I asked him to reimbursed my the money for the lack of service he provided or at least pay for the alterations that were done by another shop. Kam's denied me a refund for his mistakes, and denied to pay for the new alterations. To top that off the dress was also covered in pet hair, glitter and dirty like it was dragged on the floor. read more

Go to kam! He'll get you right! Was open when everybody else was closed! I'll be going back and buying work shirts there!

just sad and not very productive never on time and never finished when they it's gonna be done

Kam is fair, generous, friendly, kind, efficient, and easy to get a hold of. He was able to hem my bridesmaid dress just in time for my best friends wedding! He also did a wonderful job! Definitely will be visiting him again soon! Side note: He said he specializes in African clothing. He creates and sells gorgeous pieces of every color under the sun. I'm looking forward to getting measured for one of his beautiful handmade dresses. Thanks Kam! read more

My husband was having a hell of a time finding a tailor to hem the pants of his new Armani suit. Not only did Kam do it on the spot, he did a beautiful job and was very reasonably priced. My husband is straight up picky and he was thrilled with the work. We're found our go-to tailor. read more

‼ BE WARNED DO NOT USED HIM LIAR SCAMMER‼ On June 3, we drove quite a ways to get to Kam's to have the sleeves hemmed on four brand new suit jackets. It was around early afternoon and the door to his business was locked, but the A-frame was outside indicating he was opened. We knocked on door and Kam opened to let us inside. We notice there were no mirrors or dressing area as one would find in an alteration business. We had him pinned the sleeves on each jacket while my husband wore it, just to be sure. When he was finished, Kam told us it would be ready for pickup on Friday, June 9. Fair enough. We were asked to put down a deposit. We gave him cash deposit and provided our phone number before we left. The following week went on and we did not so we thought everything was good. Then Friday came and we could not go to pick up jackets. Instead, we drove all the way there on Saturday, June 10. Pulled into the parking lot and saw the A-frame sign out in the front of the business. The door was locked again. We knocked and knocked and knocked. Approximately 5 minutes went by and we decided to call Kam. He picked up and said "oh man! I was too busy. Jackets are not ready! Can you come back on Monday?!" To my husband, he said it would not be ready until Monday. To me, he asked if we could pick up on Friday -- another week!!! Feeling even more nervous about Kam's shady dealings, we asked him for our suit jackets back and our deposit. Kam pretended he was not at his store when we called but when we threatened to involve our attorneys, he confessed he was at his store. We were able to get our jackets back and our deposit. BTW, nothing had been done on the jackets the entire week he had it. Thank goodness our suit jackets were still in good shape! We were able to drive them to another tailor we had in mind but didn't go to on the day we decided to take them to Kam. We regret making that choice. The new tailor is so much better -- a senior couple who has been tailoring for other 25+ years! Their shop is clean and legitimate with proper dressing platform/mirror for them to mark and pin. They had proper cash register and gave us proper receipts with date we submitted in clothes and date/time to be picked up. They were professional and nice. They are such a blessing after such a horrific experience with Kam. His business name should really be SKAM's Alterations. He is not a legitimate tailor. He's a liar and a cheat! ‼ BE WARNED DO NOT USED HIM LIAR SCAMMER‼ read more

I drove up to Kam's with two pairs of pants that needed hemming...he offered me a chair and finished them while I waited. His price was comparable to other alterations shops I have used and the hemming was perfect. read more

I think I finally found an alteration place that can take good care of me. I've been trying to find a place that can patch my jeans without making it look like a patch and this guy was able to help me out. I haven't tried them with other items but since I've been looking for someone that could patch the way that he has done it I'm excited to continue to use him in the future. He's got a nice little shop that opens up at 10 AM and closes at 5 PM Monday through Saturday. The shop is a long Glendale between 19th Ave. and I 17 on the south side of the road. I like stopping there because I can also check out United Nations ammo while I'm there. read more

I have used Kam several times for alterations and he always does great work would refer anybody to him

Fantastic service - prompt, professional and affordable! $20 for hemming 2 pairs of pants - I'm a fan!

This man hemmed my husband's work pants for ten bucks, they look great, and we got them back in two hours.

I had a new Vera Wang dress that needed to be altered. The dress was made of delicate material and I had to change the waist sash color. Kam altered the dress perfectly!! He even made a change to the dress that I didn't ask for and it looked so beautiful. I will use him every time I have something that needs to be altered. He is so kind, professional and skillful. read more

The man who works here is absolutely amazing. He tailored my bras for me since I'm losing weight and the bras I purchase are over 60 dollars each so there's no point in buying more since my bust is losing inches and he did an amazing job! So glad I came in. read more

My boyfriend and I take our clothes to him all the time. It's usually an ill-fitting dress I bought on the Internet for super cheap. My boyfriend likes to get his jeans to fit him perfectly. We are always happy to see Kam working in his array of beautiful fabrics. His store is his craft room. It's like having a friend that tailors your clothes, but instead of bringing him a bottle of wine, we throw him a little cash and they're ready in less than a week. Love this place! read more

I needed some alterations to a uniform blouse, and Kam completed the tailoring in a day. Last week I had him hem two pair of cargo pants, which he didn very quickly at a more than reasonable price of $10 a pair. I highly recommend his workmanship, and he practices great customer service. read more
