I'm sad. While The Fit did alter my garments correctly, I went to wear one of them today and found two holes in the fabric, one of which is on the front of a sleeve. I imagine this is where the tag was placed for pickup, but if that's the case, it wasn't unpinned very thoughtfully, because the fabric around the hole is torn. Now a dress I paid nearly $100 for, plus another $30 or so for alterations, will be embarrassing to wear in public. On top of the guy who pinned my adjustments being terribly rude, I will definitely not be returning. read more

Good initial experience dropping off. But the pick up was unfortunate. I had a question about why only the outside of each pant leg was tapered instead of doing both inside and outside evenly. Got yelled at by one of the tailors because the inside 'had stitching.' I assume these guys have orange thread and can reasonably match the stitching??? But it was the tone & volume that put me off. Why yell at a customer that way? Won't be going back. read more

A little back story... Several years ago, I was searching for a tailor to alter my softball pants, which are always made for men and never fit a woman's body properly. I went to four different places, and each time the male tailors told me there was "no way" to do what I was asking. Fast forward to 2025... I ordered custom pants from a company in Texas, and even after two attempts, they still didn't get them right. Back on the hunt, I searched Yelp and found The Fit. I walked in, explained the situation, and that I needed three pairs of pants fixed within a week. The gentleman immediately said, "No problem--let's have you try them on and we'll take a look." In less than 10 minutes, he had them pinned to perfection. A week later, I picked them up and they were absolutely flawless. The fit was exactly what I needed, and I was able to wear them for my World tournament looking polished and put together. Words can't describe how much I love what they do here! From the service to the quality and to the details and consultations that Dennis provides! There's so much to the journey of all my dresses for my wedding, but Dennis made it the BEST experience! First, I went to a seamstress a friend suggested because the lady use to make wedding dresses (so she thought)! Going against my better judgment I gave it a try. Even though Dennis was my first choice all along! In the middle of it she was too overwhelmed and didn't finish the job instead of being honest from the beginning! I only had a month and half before my wedding! I called Dennis! He was leaving out of the country in a few days and wouldn't be back till the week before my wedding! But he took on the project and ensured me it will be done! Soon as Dennis returns, he called me the next morning! Jet lag and all! He said No, I said I would get it done for you and I will! Mind you, it was not just 1 dress, I had my ceremony gown, which he had to take in, put rhinestones on the bodice, AND make a 10 ft detachable train! I had another blush pink reception dress which he had to take in and alter the length with the many ruffles (this was the one that wasn't completed by the other seamstress), hem and take in a third wedding dress that I would do my choreographed dance in, and take in a beach wedding dress that I wore at our destination wedding! I purchased 2 petticoats that had to be combined to make the ceremony ballgown really poofy. Dennis combined this for me as well! Dennis did all this within the week he returned! I owe everything to him! I don't just recommend this place, but I absolutely encourage you to save yourself the hassle of going anywhere else! I definitely will not go anywhere else! I have only had great experiences. Been coming here since 2015 and after all that, I'm a customer for life! Not to mention, his prices are very affordable! Attached are some pictures! I've brought several pieces to The Fit on a couple occasions and they always do a beautiful job! Here is one of the items they altered for me - a beautiful vintage sundress. It was originally a little longer and the buttons were the only closure, which made it look too small on my bust. Most of my clothes require customization. They have completed my alterations on everything from pajamas to Halloween costumes to formal gowns. They are EXTREMELY TALENTED! The guys are masters at accentuating the positive and hiding the not so positive. My garments are handled with care and always returned when promised. I needed a dress altered for my daughter's wedding. Found this place which was not too far from my house. It's in a small strip mall next to a martial arts and a workout facility so when I arrived there was zero parking available. I had to park on the side of the street a little ways back. My first impression walking in to this location was that it looks nice and clean. It was very organized. The customer service: the owners have an attitude. I get it that you should be proud of your work, but they are too much. They were very "snippy" and rude when talking to people. I also overheard a conversation one of the owners had with an older lady questioning if they would do a good job. Pretty sure her concerns were legit. The owner responded something to the effect of "I am the best in town, no one else is this city does work as good as me". Complete turn off to me when people are rude. Good customer service brings in repeat customers. As far as their work. It was good but not great. I have gone to other places and had better quality work. Not saying I wasn't happy with the work but it wasn't the best! The only reason I came here was because my old shop closed due to the owner retiring. Anyways if you don't mind being berated or talked down to be my guest and get your alterations done here. read more

Don't have a fit -- go to The Fit! Look, just because I can hem a skirt or put in a dart or two, doesn't mean I can fix ill fitting jeans. It's very complicated. I have been here a few times and they are pros -- ESPECIALLY the gals in the back who actually do the main work. I spent way too much time pulling at my jeans and trying to watch YouTube videos about how to identify and fix my problem jeans. Finally I go try them on at The Fit. I'm pointing to the problem areas. Is it ME? Is my body just shaped weird? One of the gals from the back emerges (who speaks a different language) and she quietly starts pinning and they start feeling like they are going to fit right. I'm liking my body shape again. She has some kind of Artificial Intelligence-type 3D vision thing going on in her head as she immediately solves the problems with the straight pins. I go into one of the nice dressing rooms and CAREFULLY remove the jeans so I don't stick myself. I prepay and leave them there for 1 week (otherwise there's a Rush Fee). Now I can focus on OTHER problems. BTW their location is easy to get in and out of, plenty of parking, nice strip mall. About a week ago they remodeled and doubled their square footage, taking over a retail space next door once occupied by a hair salon. The place is HUGE now. Don't throw away or donate a piece of clothing you like just because it fits a bit oddly. The Fit will fix it and make you love it. read more
