Friendly service, and the work is quality. He fixed a zipper on jeans for me and did an excellent job, the sewing is top quality and you cannot tell it's been repaired or altered. The pants I picked up weren't ready when I came in, and I waited 5 minutes. The owner gave me 10% for waiting a few minutes. Talk about great customer service. I just dropped off a dress for repair for a ripped seam. Cost for repair on a ripped seam is 10.00, the new zipper in the jeans was 18.00. Definitely found my new alterations/tailor. read more

This place was a godsend. I live in Downtown Phoenix, and I called around to many tailors within a 5 mile radius, and Milanx Alterations was the only one that could tailor my pants within a few days notice. The 5 other places I called was a 2 week wait period. One did have a one week wait period, but that was too long for me. I had a childhood friend's wedding on a Friday. I called on a Monday, came in with the pants I needed altered, and the pants were ready by Thursday evening the same week. The customer service was awesome. I took 3 items for alterations: 2 skirts to be taken in at the waist and a pair of nice women's pants to be hemmed. There is a small tryon area in the shop so you can show them what you're looking for. Work was done in a week, as promised, and he texted me when it was all ready. Prices are reasonable and the work was flawless. I can't even see where he did the alterations on the skirts (but they fit now)!! A lot of my previous alterations at other places were fine but much more sloppy-looking on the inside. This is seriously amazing work. I will definitely be back!! read more

What can I say about Gianni and Milanx Alterations? He is amazing! I cosplay for terminally ill children and recently got a new Captain America suit but I'm 6'7 and needed it altered. My suit was lost in the mail and a replacement was rushed to me but I had a week until the event I needed it for was to take place. I heard great things about Milanx and ran over there as soon as I got the suit. Gianni took my measurements and notified me that it would be ready several days after my event. I explained my situation and he vowed that he would do his best to get it done on time. Guess, what happened next? He got the entire thing done when he promised to. I was astonished! Nowadays, you can't trust people and take their word. But Gianni is someone that you can trust. He went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. Highly recommend! I asked for complex changes to my wedding dress and MILANX did an exceptional job!

I needed a suit tailored SAME DAY, I called and asked if it was possible and I was calmly reassured and invited to bring it in. I arrived there around 10:30 am and was promptly greeted and informed of options and the tailor (also the owner of the business and super nice guy) begins pinning the suit jacket. 3 seams down the back all needed to be completely redone as well as tapering the sleeves and shortening them a small amount. He then also pinned the suit pants. Tailoring the leg to fit stylishly, tapered nicely and shortened. Everything was fast and efficient and I knew I was lucky to find someone willing and able to take on such a daunting task. Johnny then said to come back at 6:00pm to pick it up that same day. This amount of work meant 7 painstaking hours of meticulous work, all the same day. I arrived and was greeted with a smile and was given the completed suit all done exceptionally well. At this time I felt the sleeve length was a tad too short due to my oddly long arms, Johnny said assuredly "Yes that's no problem, give me 45 minutes". I ran an errand and came back and it was perfect. That was two days ago. Today was the event I needed the suit and I was complemented on the look and fit. The price is certainly fair and less expensive than most other shops and priceless for the optimistic can-do attitude, he puts care and craftsmanship into his work and it shows and he's just a nice guy.
