I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience at this store today. When I walked in, no…read moreone acknowledged me, so I said "good morning" first. I then stood at the counter for about a minute and a half before the Hispanic employee finally asked, "Do you need something?" Her tone and attitude felt dismissive and rude from the beginning. Obviously I need something! I explained that I was shopping for chains. She told me the price of gold had gone up that day and showed me only three random options approximately $9, $13, and $14. When I asked whether they had anything for $5 or less, she immediately said no, even though their website shows several chains priced under $5. She did not explain whether the website prices were different from the in-store prices, offer to check, or show me any additional options. The interaction honestly left me concerned that she was quoting me higher prices based on assumptions she made about me. I came in well-dressed, with my makeup and nails done, and I could not shake the feeling that she judged what I might be willing or able to pay instead of showing me the full selection and clearly explaining the prices. I cannot say for certain that this was her intention, but the lack of transparency made me feel that way. During our interaction, she also stopped helping me to take a phone call in Spanish. I understood what she was saying, although she may have assumed that I did not. Overall, I felt unwelcome, judged, and as though I was not worth her time. Customers have different budgets, and everyone deserves to be greeted, treated respectfully, and shown the available options. Unfortunately, the customer service and lack of price transparency made this such an uncomfortable experience that I would not return.

Me: Obviously, surprised I said, I am not asking you for any cheap stuff. Owner: I have seen all south Indians asking for cheap stuff. They buy only cheap stuff. Me: (I myself being a south Indian) I don't think south Indians are into cheap stuff. How could you even talk about that? You should have a board that says this place is not for south Indians. Owner:(Still arguing) you please sit here with me for an hour and you can see south Indians asking for cheap stuff. me: I am leaving as I am a south Indian and I won't buy at your store. The jewelers from Ngoc Bich said that it was the best price for what it was but only weighed 27g as opposed to the one here, weighing 30g, and is closer to the actual weight of the bracelet I was eyeing. Ken and Mindy were patient and very knowledgeable. Mindy was able to look at my bracelet and say that it weighed less than hers and even brought out her scale to show us. We had a 6 people buying merch from them, 2 bracelets and 4 rings. It would have been nice if they were able to give everyone a little bit of a discount but they cut the two bracelet buyers some slack. Will be coming back to check out more of their selection They're also able to order items for you in a timely manner and are very accommodating and sincere. Will definitely be coming back for more pieces.

I was very excited to finally find the booth just to be told "we don't sell by weight we sell by piece." contradicting what I read here. I was quoted $450 for a pair of stud earrings. And found someone who sold the same exact pair of earrings to me for $260. Please keep your business practices the same for everyone as some of us come looking for you due to the positive reviews here, expecting the same honest service. Edit: The lack of professionalism is clear in the reply. Owner's son reached out to me just to complain about receiving a poor review and sharing my experience via yelp. Comparing yourself to rolex is also "crazy" and amusing. "with all due respect" of course.
