Had a great first experience at BlueVault! I found them online and was impressed by their website and their transparency. I called the Orange County location and spoke with Duke. He gave me quotes for my silver bars over the phone so I knew what to expect when I came in person to sell. BlueVault is located at Bella Terra right next to the AT&T store. I was extremely impressed with its security measures and cleanliness. Duke and Ryan (who appraised my silver in person) were extremely professional and made the process easy! I left within 5 minutes of walking in and plan on coming back to sell additional pieces. For those that want to store their collections, they have vault space available. They also are a place to buy if you're looking to expand. Excited to continue my relationship with BlueVault. Highly recommend! read more

Blue Vault is a convenient place to buy a gold and a silver Very professional, very high tech, I've never seen anything like BlueVault before! Their markup is below what you may have seen online at other gold sellers (let's hope you compare - don't assume). Their security is top notch, watch their video to see how safe their vault is. Making a purchase here requires your palm print and identification regardless of order size. Even buying one single coin requires all your information and they record every bit of it. So, word to the wise, don't store your metal at the address they have listed for you and you will be ok. They are always willing to sit and explain everything are very courteous - ( Duc very helpful) something unusual in today's retail stores. ( Specially Vietnamese stores in Phước Lộc Thọ Asian garden mall) Plus, their pricing adjusts daily with each market close. Can't ask for any better than that. Best experience I have had with a gold and Silver dealer by far. read more

1st time needing to exchange/sell my silver bullions and didn't know where to go. When I called BV OC they were so helpful, but it was an EVEN better experience when I got there. I worked with Emory Leingang and Ryan Amati and it was such an awesome and friendly experience. They were helpful, fast, and went over and beyond customer service.I highly recommend. Will definitely recommend to others and also go back when I am ready to exchange/sell again. read more

Michael was very helpful and did a fine job when I came to the Blue Vault in Huntington Beach.

Overall great service and great pricing on both a safe deposit box and coins. Cash is preferred so bring that.

Tyler Knutzen and Doc Huynh were so helpful. Went into Bluevault today as beginners with lots of questions, and they answered them all. Very professional and patient. Went above and beyond our expectations as newbies. thank you for making this a great experience! We will be back! read more

BlueVault seems okay. I noticed their security door, you apparently have to get buzzed in to open the first door, then an employee will tell you to scan your whole hand on some type of hand scanning machine while in a secured box, then you can open the 2nd door. I assume they won't let you in if you don't scan your hand. I have never seen that before and it felt very strange, but alright. I guess it does feel secure, at least inside their building Bud of mine bought his bullion, and we were out in maybe 10-20 minutes, it was pretty quick, seems like cash only and tax. Staff seemed professional. It seemed okay while I was there read more

I really like this place. They have the best bullion prices in OC. Just to note they only deal in pure gold and silver bullion, no old coins. You can buy and sell here so that's convenient. Great customer service for buying coins. Hoping to have the same great service when I need to sell.

In the late 80's I sold 10 Krugerrand coins at $700 each, had I kept them, I would have made $14,000 profit but I needed the money for mountain of bills. Before Covid, a Maple coin was $1400, it shot up to $1780 but I decided to buy a few, the store I bought it from in the 80s went out of business a long time ago. I was shocked blue Vault seemed to be the only one selling gold coins, the rest are just antique stores selling an occasional coin. We agreed on $1,780 so I finished my lunch n went over there w the cash , imagine my shock the guy had sold them to someone else, to say I was upset would be an understatement , it was not fair n very poor customer service, he could have told me he could not hold 1 hour, then I could hop in the car n be there in 10 min, I was upset n haven't been there over a year. That guy no longer works at Blue Vault. Raymond is the new guy, he's very pleasant to talk to on the phone n in person, he quoted $1,882 ouch!!! But I decided to buy just 1coin n watch the price going forward. Crazy Joe is spending (stimulus n oink projects ) money like a drunken sailor, 6 more trillions will push the price of gold to the stratosphere especially if the fed chairman is going to jack up the interest rate. In Huntington Beach a $1.1 mil would only buy a house size of my closet! Lol a realtor told me there were 27 offers!!! So gold prices will go up w runaway inflation but it might come down if interest goes thru the roof n people rather collect fat interest vs owning gold that pay nothing. Either way, so any if you w excess cash, come to this store n buy the bling bling w Raymond, the dude w glasses. read more

I have been to Blue vault a number of times and they are always very service-oriented and I feel very comfortable having my assets secured by this operation which is one of the few in Southern California. Was very unhappy the way I was treated. Like I was a bother. So I went to Southern California Coins in Tustin instead. Not only did they pay me a lot more for my gold and silver but also bought scrap sterling and paid the highest prices I found in the OC- go there instead! Also paid the highest on my silver eagles and my gold!!! Warning don't go to blue vault- drive to Tustin and make more money! read more

I can not say enough about the service I and my husband received at this establishment. Wow, just wow! First, I felt very safe and secure entering the building with a man trap door (same type used by the banking industry), security systems and protocols in place. Next, came the friendly smiling employees we were greeted by immediately. The process was thoroughly explained right away, and we never took our eyes off our property the entire time throughout the process until we collected our check. We were assisted by Duc Huynh, Tyler Knutzen and Emery Leingang, working as a team operation running like a machine! We were in and out with our transaction completed within 20 minutes. This is the best way to buy or sell your gold. We will definitely be back! read more

UPDATE: Thanks for the response from the owner but i guess I was unaware that you have to ask for specific ones or that the employees are suppossed to talk to you and ask. I mean how would a new customer know something like that if the employees do no job of explaining it? As far as "oxidized" guess I used the wrong phrase, I didnt mean to make it seem as if they were damaged. And I never said anything about it not being .999 silver so not sure where that is coming from, just that I wasnt asked what your claiming, and I simply asked to buy 5 silver bars and they just gave me those no questions asked so not sure what else I was suppossed to do. If I do come in and exchange them perhaps I'll update my review read more

I have been trying to get my hubby to buy gold for over 30 years!! Well, better late than never!! When he told me about Blue Vault and he was ready to start investing, I was a bit skeptical. Well, we've done business with BV several times now and I am very pleased!! My husband is so comfortable making the investment now. Do Not Come Here Unless You Want To Get Scammed! I went into this Blue Vault location on October 11th after seeing their competitive prices online. The store itself is clean, but don't let that fool you into thinking their business practices are as such. I came in to buy a couple ounces of gold and over 70 ounces of silver. First they brought out 2 1oz American Gold Eagles and being a former employee of a coin shop, I began to inspect them for any damages. Needless to say I found one coin was marked with small white spots, which is common for coins that have been handled poorly. I asked the sales person about the spots and he agreed to switch it out for a second coin, which was also damaged, this time with clear scratches on the face. Both employees in the room agreed that the coin wasn't properly inspected. Well it appears 3rd times the charm because they finally managed to bring me a coin that was acceptable. Now the energetic employee seemed trustworthy enough, even after the gold debacle, to not warrant me carefully inspecting all 72 Silver Eagles I had purchased, great mistake... When I got home I decided to inspect a few of the silver coins only to find that some are damaged and completely 2nd quality. In retrospect it feels like these guys are trying to run scams on naive investors new to the bullion market, or those of us who are too lazy to inspect large amounts of coin. It's either they have shady business practices or are too naive themselves to know the difference between a 1st and 2nd quality coin. read more

All round A+ experience...and is why I am a repeat customer. Always felt safe during my visits. Worked with Raymond a couple times, and Joseph via phone. Both are top notch, informed, competent, zero pressure advisors who listened and wanted to match my needs with their offerings. Gave me several scenarios to zero in on what would work. Above all, always felt respected regardless of transaction size. I have closer to home options,, but worth the drive for me. I invite you to give them a try. read more
