From the moment I walked in, I was treated with nothing but kindness, patience, and respect. While we were talking, I mentioned that I'm in the Army and that I may be deploying in March. After finishing everything on my watch, he handed it back to me. He shook my hand, looked me in the eyes, and wished me well. That moment honestly meant more to me than he probably realized. I walked in expecting to simply pay to get my watch fixed, and I walked out feeling extremely emotional, grateful, and reminded that there are still genuinely good people in this world. The battery was replaced, the watch was resized perfectly, and the customer service went far beyond anything I expected. But more than the free repair, it was the kindness behind the gesture that I'll remember. If it were in my power I'd send more customers to these folks than they could handle. I do not recommend Watch Wears in Orange, CA based on my personal experience…read more In 2013, I purchased a yellow diamond ring surrounded by white diamonds for a significant amount of money. It came with an appraisal stating a value of $14,000. Shortly after, I returned to have the ring resized and was told they also buy gold and jewelry. I brought in additional items and was given store credit. Later, I returned to use the remaining credit and was told by the owner that I had no credit left and would have to pay again. There was no clear record provided, no transparency, and no effort to resolve the discrepancy. I was essentially told the credit didn't exist anymore, and I had no documentation to challenge it at the time. In 2026, I scheduled an appointment to sell the same ring back to them. I clearly stated on the phone that I was bringing in a ring originally purchased from their store. When I arrived, they inspected it along with the appraisal, then told me they were not buying diamonds due to market conditions and lab-grown diamonds affecting resale value. This should have been communicated when I made the appointment. Instead, I wasted time going in for a meeting that should never have been scheduled. Overall, my experience with this business has been inconsistent, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. While they do carry attractive jewelry, I personally do not trust their business practices or transparency.

Terrible. I like to visit different pawnshops to see what kind of deals I can get, but this place was terrible. Prices were too high and had really rude customer service. There are so many other good pawnshops in the area, like the one just down the street that is stacked floor to ceiling with tools, jewelry, electronics, etc. Will not be returning to this place and hopefully I'll save you a trip as well. read more

David and his brother are very nice and the ad says bring in your furs and we will buy them for up to $12,000 a fur. This is just a come on so when you get there, they quote you a high price for your fur but then they say you have to come back with gold in order to get that price for your fur. Mom and I had three furs and they said they would give us over 5700 for the three furs and to come back with 300 grams of gold and they might pay up 10,000 for the gold and then buy the furs. They offered to come right over to our house and weigh our gold so we wouldn't have to drive back to Palm Springs. I'm not that stupid. Mom and I took all our gold jewelry and got an estimate for 2300 and Mom got an estimate for 4700 on her gold jewelry as well before we went back. We had way under the 300 grams he wanted to buy our furs. Then we went back with our gold and furs. they were going to give me $1500 for my jewelry and my fur when I got an estimate just for my gold at 2300. He would not buy my fur for even 100 dollars after quoting me 1500 on the first visit. The deal here is first you bring your fur and the quote you a high price to to buy it and then you run home to find all the old jewelry that you've never going wear. Then they offer you way less for your jewelry and probably throw away the mink or maybe sell it at their pawn shop. David told me he was shipping these furs to Europe and needed the gold to get a better shipping price. That sounded ridiculous to me. I not saying anything they are doing is illegal but it is on the shady side in my opinion. So. Mom and I left with our furs and jewelry. We went straight over to our place in Palm Desert, PMR precious metals, and got a check for $2330 for mine and $5000 for mom's jewelry. The only bad news is we still have our furs on the closet! The only good news is he gave us $20 for the gas for coming twice which mom and I had lunch at McDonald's.
