Since coming to Kalos & Muse for the first time, I will never go to any other nail salon. I have gotten countless manicures and pedicures, and they always come out perfect. Everyone is so kind, and the whole salon is beautiful. I believe that the integrity of a business is shown when issues arise. I got a gel x manicure and within a few days the gel polish was lifting. I came back and they quickly repaired it. Then a few days later the same thing happened again, I called to see if they could help and they told me to come in to get it fixed. Andy immediately made it right, and found that the issue was actually with the polish we were using. He found an almost identical color and fixed me up quickly. This is the level of care and attention to detail that sets this salon apart from others. I cannot recommend this salon enough, just fantastic!!! read more

Trying a new salon out and really wanted to like this place as a friend recommended it. Unfortunately, won't be back. We were on time for our appointment but weren't seated for 20 minutes and then sat waiting in the chair for an additional 5-10. What I expected to take 1 hour lasted for 2. Thank the gods I didn't need to go back to work! It's confusing even you check in as well. There is no wall of nail polishes to choose from, just gel. They brought out a book for regular polish. I didn't recognize the brand and wouldn't use it again. The color didn't match the swatches and was gloopy. Our technicians were very friendly, but mine clipped my nails too short and I'm afraid of how it will grow out. It was a bit expensive too. I'll go back to my usual place where my appointment starts in time and I'm in & out in an hour tops. read more

i called today for pedicure appointments for me and my dad at noon, they book us in and we get there. pretty quick to get in the chair, the issue is with my dads pedicure. they tell us that they only let female techs work on men's appointments, weird but ok? then say that they're a little backed up and it'll be 15 minutes. i'm halfway through my service and my dad still hasn't gotten seen, finally he gets up and goes. they try to rush and get someone on his nails, but it's honestly been 45 minutes and we're both done. at the end, i also get up and don't finish my service because i felt bad for him waiting, and then ended up comping the whole service which was very nice. my service was nice, and i wish i could say positive things about this nail salon but im upset our relaxing day out being ruined due to poor planning :( i don't think ill return unfortunately unless their staffing changes. read more

I have been to this nail salon a few times and have had a great experience. I have brought my 4 year old daughter and we have always had a great time. I liked the salon so much that i recommended it to my sister and now she goes. This last time i went however, the nail tech recommended i try a new polish. I can't remember if it was Gel X or Builder gel but it's the one where you only need a fill. I took her recommendation and then my nails started bubbling about a week later. I'm not sure if it's air or water causing the bubbles? Either way / i reached out to them on IG three times and was left on read. I'm more than happy to pay for my services but would expect that a nail salon would fix nails if clearly the product they used isn't sitting well? Disappointed because i really liked this place and wish they would take better care of their repeat customers. read more

I had the opportunity and pleasure of working with this team again, the service exceeded expectations. Simon and Tyna did an amazing job and were extremely accommodating. This place is such a vibe. It's beautiful and just so clean, I truly appreciate the level of detail that went into this nail studio. My friend recommended this space to me, and I'm obsessed. I've only went to one person, Darcy, and this is my girl. She understands me so well, and pushes me to try new designs, which I love. I come here for builder gel! I also love the cocktails. The nail studio also has a cafe where you can purchase coffee, tea, and pastries. I haven't tried the coffee yet. Overall, love this place, and can't wait to try the spa! read more

I have a regular place for ku mani-pedi, but I had an emergency and couldn't get into that shop right away. So, I decided to go to get a pedi with Kalos & Muse, and it was a really great experience! The interior is very attractive. There's a bar, a snack/juice/boba section, a wall of colors for your mani-pedi, and there's more services available. When I walked in I was greeted by a professional/friendly person who explained all the options available. Once I made my selection, she sat me while I waited for my manicurist. In 30 seconds my manicurist arrived, and she was most pleasant. When I needed to veer from my normal shop, Kalos & Muse is definitely the place I will go to for my mani-pedi. read more

After getting two pedis and two gel-x sets, I can say that this is a great salon! I love how they decorate for the seasons and that the chairs aren't your traditional bulky massage chair. Cartier is the go-to for gel-x sets. He can freestyle whatever you can dream up. The sets also last a great while. read more

I found this salon on Instagram and decided to give it a try . I made an appointment ahead of time but had to wait 10 minutes to get serviced. They run a well managed ship here. I appreciate that they print out a receipt for you beforehand with a fair estimate of what your services will cost so you don't get blindsided. While I didn't try anything from the cafe, they have a lot of yummy drinks. I got ombré dip with an express manicure by Darcy and a gel pedicure by Ken. Both were kind and made it a good experience . I paid $165 ( tip included ) for my services . EDIT : my dip chipped on my nails less than 2 days later . I have been getting dip for over 2 years and never had the dip chip. I had such a great experience here with my bestie! I booked an appt for 9:30am Saturday for 2 mani pedis a week prior and I was called and texted a reminder of my appt. This is a med spa, nail salon and full service cafe which is one of it's kind. If you want to hang out and study at the cafe with boba, you can do that. Our mani/pedis were fantastic and super quick! I loved that we could order boba while we got our treatments. The med spa will open up soon which will offer more services. Overall it's a fantastic place and the concept is exceptional! read more

We spoke about life and kids! She was very polite and wasn't ruff with my nails.. we did a freestyle set because what I had an idea in mind buttttt it didn't end up that way lol! I'm giving this review after my second time coming and I would argue that this experience was better than the first and my first experience was pretty good. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is for a discrepancy about the free beverage. I will cover that later. Darcy is an amazing Nail Tech, honest and does very good design work. She even customized my design so that it did not match the photo exactly. She also repaired work from a previous salon and I will 100% be back to see her. The facility is amazing and humongous. I have not received a service with the med spa, but I did get my eyebrows waxed there and both facility are pristine and very pretty. Now for the drink discrepancy, the first time I came, I bought a Boba drink without realizing I could've gotten it for free because my service was over $40. When I went in this time, I asked if the complementary beverage had to be a cocktail because I am not drinking alcohol. I was told that it was included, but then when I checked out, they charged me. I asked them about the complementary drink and apparently that was just a special they were running that is no longer available. So with regards to the drinks, I think maybe basic Boba drinks should be included because your average alcoholic cocktail runs over $12 easily and the Boba is half the price especially if you were spending over $100 for a service but that's just my opinion. Otherwise, this place is amazing and I would highly suggest you checking them out if you have not. read more

Not sure if I will return again. I made an appointment because I wanted to make sure that they could do the right nail design for me. When I made the appointment they made it with one specific nail artist. I called to go in earlier and they told me that she would be available when I arrived. They told me that she wasn't available, but another artist would do my nails for me. While he was doing my nails, he was doing everything so fast like he was ready to get out of there. He didn't even bother to perfect any of the designs that I wanted, and you can still see the imperfections on the nails. When I asked if I could be comped or at least pay half for the nails, they told me to come back in and they would give me a discount on my next set. This is horrible service. read more

I decided to try this salon over the weekend after seeing a lot of hype online. I have no problem paying for quality--I've spent good money on nail services before--but for a pedicure that's over $75, I expected much better. The experience itself was okay: not particularly relaxing or impressive, but not terrible at the time. That said, the polish application wasn't clean or precise, which was already disappointing for the price. What's far more concerning is what happened afterward. I noticed that while most of the tech's tools were in sealed blue sterilization bags, the cuticle pusher and nippers were sitting out in a clear cup on her cart. That immediately raised red flags about sanitation. The tech also cut me a few times during the pedicure. While that's unfortunately happened before at other places without issue, this time was different. The next day, one of my toes became itchy, red, and slightly swollen. I assumed it was a bug bite, but by Monday morning it had worsened--it was burning, painful to walk on, and noticeably more swollen. I went to urgent care and was told I had developed an infection that was most likely due to the pedicure. The doctor explained that the infection was spreading and that topical antibiotic ointments wouldn't be effective--I needed to begin oral antibiotics immediately. I'm leaving this review not to be spiteful, but to warn others. Hygiene and sterilization practices are non-negotiable in a salon setting, especially when using sharp tools on clients. For $75+, I shouldn't have left with uneven polish and a medical issue. I really hope the salon takes this feedback seriously and improves their sanitation protocols moving forward. read more

For staters , I had an appointment and waited 20 minutes to be seated. They only offer me a water,nothing else. The pedicure lady was nice but I had a feeling she just started doing this , took no cuticles and barely and filling my feet . When I asked her to take more cuticles she end up cutting me . She was nice but not good at all. The lady Darcy , that did my dip was somewhat rough, never really talk to me , was talking on the phone the whole time ( she had headphones) . She seemed that she didn't wanted to be there at all. Overall very cold , unpleasant visit, I couldn't wait to leave fast enough. They charge a lot for the space but service it's not impressive at all. After hearing all the hype about this place , go for the coffee / matcha . read more

Saw Kalos and Muse all over instagram so decided to check it out. It's new to the DFW area and has been open about 3 months. We had an appointment on a Friday afternoon for pedicures and there was a decent crowd. A very open space that is beautifully decorated and has a bar and small cafe inside. After selecting our colors, we got seated promptly but it took quite awhile for our technicians to actually come over and start our services. Something that shocked me about this salon is that they don't have massage chairs like most salons you visit. We went with the alo vera pedicures which were very relaxing and include paraffin wax and a 14 minutes massage. They also offer complimentary cocktails and wine, this is also something that took quite awhile to receive. The staff was very kind and the pedicure was a relaxing experience, it did take almost 2 hours though so I'm glad that I wasn't in a rush. Overall, I enjoyed my experience! First time customer. Came in on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded at all. Was told it was a 45 min wait for me and my grandbaby. Waited hr and 15 while multiple white and Asian patrons were seated and greeted with beverages. I paid for a 60 dollar pedicure and the tech was done in under 10 min. Told him my feet were still a bit rough. The manger told him to add the decallus treatment which was supposed to be included. He proceeded to rough my feet up as he now had an attitude. When I refused the gel upgrade, I was told the acrylic tech wasn't available for another 30 min. I had been here 2 hrs a d 20 min and they still hadn't started on my little one pedicure. I expressed multiple times that we had an appt to get to. This was a very high end place Amenities were nice. Coffee/Tea bar and complimentary cocktails. However I do NOT recommend. They need to work on the service and how they treat diverse clientele. I wont be returning! read more

Great first experience! This nail salon is beautiful and huge. They have a coffee bar and sitting area, a bar area with alcohol, a med spa in the back (opens in Nov I believe), then a large nail salon, so much under one roof! Lian was my nail tech and did a great job, she was so sweet and friendly. I really enjoyed my pedicure and the time she spent, I did not feel rushed at all, which is common at the other nail salon I typically go to. Prices are pretty standard - $35 for a normal pedicure and $20 for gel so $55 total. I am so glad I gave this place a try, it will be my nail salon moving forward. read more

Pedicure chairs are awful, especially for those of us that are vertically challenged. They are straight-back, tall wingback armchairs. For me, even with a pillow - seating was not comfortable. Thankful for the 20% discount. Otherwise, my pedicure would have been about $100 and it was nothing special. I will not return. read more

Finally got a chance to come by and we had 3 different drinks at the cafe and they were all delicious (25% sweet). Our favorite was the matcha and ube coconut cloud. It was easy to order and they'll bring the drink to you. I got both a gel strengthener nail service and therapeutic salt pedi. Vy did my nails and I'm obsessed with them. I saw a young lady and complimented her nails and she told me she got them done here. This is a newly opened establishment so I thought I would check it out. I arrived and was very specific about what I wanted and was looking for a great experience. First of all, you speak to no less than three to four people before they walk you behind this huge wall only to be paired with a person that was not creative nor that friendly. They have no massaging pedicure chairs, the free drinks they offer are not good, they advertise getting drinks and food from the cafe at an additional cost which is okay for some but overall, it just seems like a very stale and over the top money pit. I felt like my nails were done from someone who was still practicing her craft. $200+ dollars that included a generous tip had me feeling like I just got robbed. I WON'T BE BACK!!! read more

As some may know I am extremely picky about my nails and where I go. I figured I would check this new spot out and see what the hype was about. At first, I thought this place might be alright. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, guiding me through the process and making sure I knew what to expect. But once the actual service started, everything went downhill. The staff doing my nails had no idea what they were doing and were far from professional. They missed the mark on the look I wanted completely. The pedicure was overpriced, and the employee handling it was so careless. There was zero attention to detail, and my polish ended up looking opaque and streaky--totally unacceptable. My polish was supposed to be shell simmer and it was no where near that. To make matters worse, there weren't even any massage chairs, which is the least they could provide for the price they're charging. They did give a massage at the very end for the pedicure only she barely touched my feet and clearly didn't want to be there. They did offer to comp my next pedicure and said I could come back for a polish change, but I'd still have to pay more to fix their poor work. read more
