I've never been so demeaned for being a woman. I called back for a refund after the refused to service me. Meanwhile Richard the owner sat in my car and googled codes he wasn't able to fix. The issue? My mechanic told me later that the tube they replaced in April was leaking, and that's what they refused to fix due to what I believe is incompetence. I called the following day for a refund and Allan told me to come in again and I said I didn't trust their work after coming in and waiting. Allan was extremely rude and dismissive after my long wait to an empty shop. If you aren't in an emergency, or a woman, AVOID this place. They add things to the bill without asking (my initial visit I was charged $100 for coolant I didn't want). Reported to BBB. Awful service. After a lack of info and waiting without answer, I towed my car. The new and trusted mechanic said the coolant leaked and needed a new hose. No one at Jiffy lube answered basic questions and in fact couldn't even find the leak! An appointment to fix the issue never happened. The owner, Richard, spent an entire hour sitting in my car Googling basic diagnostic codes on his personal cell phone. He did not know how to fix the issue, yet I was still charged [Insert amount if you want]. Falsely claiming we scheduled a follow-up is an attempt to cover up a complete lack of basic expertise and a rip-off. Future customers beware.

After I ask, they say they can have it in noon the next day. I go there at 1:00 pm the next day, am told the wrong filter arrived, and they wouldn't be able to get the correct one until Tuesday because of long weekend. 5pm the same day get a call saying the filter came in (which means they lied to me about receiving the wrong filter). Just before they about to start, he says it's going to be $171 plus tax! That's nearly $200 for an oil change and $32 more than I was told the day before. Guy says he doesn't know who I talked to the day before and that's the price.

Steve and John are friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable in anything related to cars. They will give you advice when your unsure and it is always on point. When I even had a question related to changing the battery on my car fob, they were their to help. Another thing I like is that you are just dealing with one person. The service and price to fix your car is very reasonable and they don't overcharge. Other places are compartmentalized so your always redirected to another department before you even get to the repair shop and you don't ever talk to the actual person who knows cars. Here's what happened: On January 19th, my car was stalling, so I went to Vancouver Auto Centre (VAC) and got charged $175 for diagnosis fees (excluding change of plugs). I didn't question it, considering it an emergency fee due to the short notice. Between January 19th and February 13th, I only drove the car for four days, fearing more expenses, and started using an electric bike instead. On February 13th, the car stopped, requiring a boost from BCAA. Then, on February 15th, the car started stalling again, and I took it to All Care Auto, recommended by a friend, who changed the alternator and battery for $867. As it turned out, an alternator problem caused more issues than initially apparent. VAC charged a hefty $175 for diagnosis, excluding labour hours, which should have identified the alternator issue, potentially saving my $600, excluding three hours of my time. Such a diagnosis is usually applied when standard procedures fail to pinpoint the problem. I've learned the hard way about garage practices. I discussed it with VAC, but they said they would not charge me the diagnostic fees again if I went back!! how funny!! They would charge me more than All Care auto did and might not fix the problem in the second place. Given the nature of my job, finding a reliable mechanic around downtown Vancouver for immediate assistance seems challenging. While I can't vouch for All Care Auto beyond this one experience, as I have used them only once, they have a good online reputation.

I went in here and every staff member I dealt with (there were a few, front desk and mechanic etc) and all of them were courteous, polite, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They found me 4 suitable replacements for an extremely good price. They were dead honest about the level of wear being high, and cautioned me accordingly. These tires were absolutely in road-worthy condition, just worn, and I appreciated that they were so conscientious about safety and so on. On top of all that, after I delivered all 4 slashed tires still on the rims, they had them mounted and filled for $20 each and it was done in 40 minutes. These guys are honest, fair, and fast.
