Not exactly how we planned to start our trip! We managed to get the tires off and buy a new rotor, but we couldn't get the bolts off to replace it. We called ShortStop, explained our situation, and they told us to bring the part in. They had us taken care of and back out the door within 15 minutes--and wouldn't take anything in return. I honestly can't say enough about how much we appreciated their help. When you're away from home, trying to get somewhere and something goes wrong, having complete strangers go out of their way to help you means more than they probably realize. Just an amazing group of guys and genuinely good people. They helped get us back on the road and on our way, and we are incredibly grateful. We would 100% recommend ShortStop. They never try to up sell you for anything that is not necessary, instead they will actually take their time to go over the conditions of the car with you, explaining what's good or what is recommended. I have been taking my cars to them for several years now and every time I get it maintenance, I can definitely tell the difference in how the car runs. Unlike other shops, they try to provide more of a personal rather transactional relationship to their customers. Referred few of my friends to go here and they also love it. Steve and John are friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable in anything related to cars. They will give you advice when your unsure and it is always on point. When I even had a question related to changing the battery on my car fob, they were their to help. Another thing I like is that you are just dealing with one person. The service and price to fix your car is very reasonable and they don't overcharge. Other places are compartmentalized so your always redirected to another department before you even get to the repair shop and you don't ever talk to the actual person who knows cars. It was an early crisp fall Sunday morning when my rear tire started making a grinding noise out of…read moreno where. I had a huge list of things that needed to get done on my one day off this week, but the sounds coming out of that one tire were saying there's now way I could keep driving around without getting it fixed -- I needed some help and fast! I call up Fowler, who I've never used before by the way, after checking auto shops via yelp that are open on a Sunday (not many are). I also called my dealer but of course they don't even answer phones. The guys at Fowler pickup the phone, I explain the issue, and they say "sure come on in today and we'll look at it..." 4 minutes of tire-grind-ouch-driving later and I'm at the shop. They do a quick inspection, move a few cars out of the way for me, and I drive it into the bay. 10mins later they have it all fixed and no more terrible grinding noise. I really appreciate the fact they got me in, were friendly the whole time, and took care of the car and issue. The mechanic says head into the office and we settle up for a very reasonable price.
