WOW what a cool funky eclectic place to grab a craft beer and a AWESOME pizza! Off the beaten path for sure but definitely worth it! And if you're a cat lover then come get your feline fix with this handsome boy-"Banjo"! Green chili pepperoni pizza is hands down THE BOMB! Come for food and drink but stay for the vibe and live music!! We'll be back for sure.

Just chillin at Kactus on a gorgeous Spring day!

Food was superb, we got a pepperoni wood-fired pizza and our cousin had a gluten-free margarita. The beer was cold and crisp and we thoroughly enjoyed the line dancing class from "2 Left Feet"! Will definitely be back!

Staff was awesome! Pizza was fantastic! Clients were very welcoming! Beer was cold and delicious! Music was inspiring! Truly worth the stop on my way through town.

Wild Spicy Elk - Elk sausage, red onion, mozzarella, mushroom and drizzle of truffle oil.

An amazing hole in the wall between Santa Fe and Albuquerque. The pizzas (Elk and Duck sausage based) were incredibly delicious accompanied by thirst quenching ales and cider. And the live blues music from Joe Daddy and Hoodoo Jeff kept the crowd tapping, dancing and smiling.

Boy, am I glad we did. We had the great pleasure to have Clarisa C serve us. What a delight! Very knowledgeable with what's on tap. We tried a few samples and I decided on Fields of Rye and hubby had Slice of Hefen. Both paired well with our meal, Green Chili Tuna melt and Southwest Cobb Salad. Clarisa was kind and patiently listened to hubby s list of Dad Jokes. I sure hope she's there when we pass through again. You're the best Clarisa!

We went and saw Joe Samba, The Movement, and Pepper at the Bridge/Santa Fe Brewing and hit RFA beforehand. I forgot about this review but didn't want to skip reviewing RFA! They have since announced that they are changing locations and the new location promises to be better all around!) Have wanted to try RFA and sample some of their offerings. They didn't disappoint. RFA is SERIOUS about their craft. A tremendous amount of RFA as well as other regional brews to try. They curate their beer menu much similar to a fine restaurant puts together their wine cellars. Crazy that a brewery this small offers so many options! We were told their food was also very good, so we ordered the recommended green chile burgers w/ fries, a tuna salad sandwich and a Greek quesadilla. All were phenomenal! Service was very good. Their tiny taproom didn't have an available table so we sat on the patio. It was a tad hot but we enjoyed the vibe for sure. We tried Every Brewery Has A Paul, Stalker, and Fields of Rye farmhouse ales, and some Hyside Nordic Blonde ales. All traditional farmhouse style.

Moderate body but very flavorful. We decided to try several of the appetizers including the Hamachi crudite, tuna tartar and miso roasted vegetables. Each dish had its own flavor profile that was absolutely out of this world. We segued to the grilled grouper in a burre Blanc sauce - and then had to order bread to soak up the awesome sauce! The fish was incredibly flaky, moist and flavor We ended the evening with a coconut Panna cotta. Our server, Taden, gave us excellent recommendations, was attentive and a pleasure. The burger was solid also, with high quality sharp cheddar. I liked the slight crunch of onions in the patty. The fish of the day - grouper with a green olive pesto inspired sauce was wonderful. The octopus appetizer was a huge miss - not enough octopus, and way too much rice, mayo, and sweet sauce. It was Japanese takoyaki meets Mediterranean octopus but the result was too "street food" at an upscale price. Service was rushed. Seemed like maybe they were understaffed for the night? I ordered my glass of wine and the server rushed off before my husband could decide on his beer. He rattled off the two specials without mentioning the prices (a little annoying). We asked what were the standout or favorite entrees and he responded with the 3 most expensive options. I'm not worried about the price, but I'm always skeptical if the favorite dishes are always the priciest ones.

We got there and parking is a bit cramped due to the location, but we were still able to find an open spot. Going inside it is much larger than it looks from the outside. We were sat quickly. Had also heard amazing things about their burgers. We also ordered a sunrise burger to share and it also was delicious. The meat was fresh and quality tasting. The patty was thick and well seasoned. This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

The last time I went I ordered the salmon and chicharrones risotto and ohhhh man it was good. It was cooked to perfection! One of our guests ordered the filet at medium and it was more like rare. They were able to cook it a little more, but beware on their steak temps. My son got a scallop special with mushroom risotto and he loved it. My other friend got the steak kabobs and she loved her also. The service was decent. We did sit for about 30 minutes at one point before ordering and we were already a bit behind schedule in trying to get out for a play at Albuquerque Little Theater. We let our server know and he didn't really help us out much. We got to our play on time, but barely. He also seemed annoyed at us for letting him know we needed to get out of there. He actually seemed annoyed about a few different things. I've had other servers there that are much kinder and more patient. He knows his food, but he is not the kindest. I do want to check out the little bar area they just opened. It looks more relaxed. They mostly have high tables over in that new bar area which my little short legs don't appreciate, but sitting at the bar sounds fabulous. I'll definitely be back! Cheers!
