The first experience was with a corn lager but this time around we got a different beer type, an IPA. The IPA we had was the Elevated IPA which was very refreshing and a nice change of pace as I haven't had an IPA for a hot minute. Flavor characteristics with this beer are hoppy, piney, floral and malty with a smooth body. It definitely had a crisp and refreshing aspect to it as well so I suspect it was the hops or pine elements at play. Very impressed with this beer and it was a great return to try out a beer I haven't had from La Cumbre!

We're kind of snobby about our beer and every. single. beer is solid. I might not like reds that much but this is one that I'd actually drink. The Hefe is solid and delicious without the weird aftertaste and off flavors that 95% of them have. Just a clean, refreshing hefe. The DIPA is delicious and one of my faves. I still stand by that the IPAs here will stand up to any others we have around town and we have some good oens. We stopped in to watch football for a bit and the screens were plentiful, there was lots to do including darts, shuffleboard, and nearly every single game on at once. They've done a lot to the place and I really hope it sticks around - we need a place like this! Beers are super reasonably priced and they have a daily happy hour (including an all day happy hour on Monday!). This is a chill, cool place with lots of seating, lots of parking and ample food options around.

Bathroom was super clean and had more thought in design than the taproom. Service was ok with the bartender and cook less than enthusiastic about being there. The full album of low grade gangsta rap, complete wit lots of "bitches" & "pussy" gave off an uncomfortable vibe. The shift change female bartender was super friendly, full of smiles, and put on some more upbeat tunes. We had the Honcho burgers (way over salted/seasoned), a green chile double smash burger with basic school lunch buns & veggies. The fries had that skunky cooking oil flavor.
