Crispy tuna rice, large portion, fresh and crispy.

We went here after hearing about it from a few locals while in Islamorada for about a week. The tuna nachos were fantastic, the wonton was the perfect level of crunch and flavor with awesome sauces and fresh tuna on top. The crispy rice and sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful. The service was great, attentive with the perfect balance of conversation. We sat outside, ambiance was great, nice and quiet for being right off of route 1. Would absolutely go back and recommend to anyone looking for sushi while staying in Islamorada.

I had sushi to go when we were not immediately returning home so Sienna was very creative and keeping my Sushi cold.

Absolutely perfect. Party of eight and we sat at the bar. Sienna was the bartender and went above and beyond for us. She was friendly, personable and attentive. You could tell she really cares about her job and she's a good person. The sushi was very fresh and very generous portions. Everybody loved their food. The restaurant is very beautiful inside. Would definitely return here!

Nice Valentine's day dinner. They gave out a red rose, as they led me to our table for two. White tablecloth, flowers, low lighting, quiet ambiance. Our server was great, offering many specials & recommendations. We got the Candied Brussels sprouts with bacon- crunchy, sweet and addictive! Loved it. Got a bottle of reasonable Albariño. Next up our steamed lobster gyoyza with lobster bisque was good, but not that exciting. My Hot Girl Roll, with Spicy Tuna, cucumber, crab & crunchy bits on top, was delicious. My husband's Blue Marlin roll with tempura lobster, crab & fresh tuna on top was also good. We skipped dessert & finished our wine. It was a perfect Valentines dinner!

An absolute must visit for a classier date night on the island. After lots of fresh seafood and quick easy bites elsewhere, this establishment is a great change of pace for a sit down meal with to die for fresh and creative sushi rolls, excellent steak and seafood entrees, and an extensive wine selection. We have dined three times and each experience better than the last. This time around we had a great wedge salad, handful of sushi rolls including a flavorful tuna avocado mango roll, and seared scallops with a creamy poblano rice topped with chimichurri. The lava cake and sea salted caramel cheese cake did not last long enough for a photo. 5/5 stars :)

The Islamorada, the hogfish, the blue marlin lobster roll, and the gump. I would drive three hours any day to eat this plate of sushi!

The sushi here was easily top two best sushi we've ever had, in the top two with a place on the California coast ( we eat a lot of sushi everywhere we go). Our server at the bar was Bob and he was awesome helping us choose the rolls we wanted! It's hard to imagine anything better than then therefore 4 rolls we chose - they were absolutely incredible. Dying to come back here again!!!

We had an amazing dinner here!!! We started off with Korean fried grouper bites, edamame and pot stickers. We then split four rolls (best crunchy, gump, hurricane and macadamia hogfish roll. Service was awesome and it was a quaint cozy environment!

Food was amazing! Yellowtail Tiradito was honestly fantastic. Service was also great. Kemar, our server, was delightful. Restaurant had chill Florida Keys vibes!!

Good restaurant with a large.veried menu. I had a sushi roll and it was good. The shrimp fried rice was just ok, nothing special. My overall view of this restaurant was just ok, not as special as people try to make it out to be. It's cute in an Asian flare in decor inside and out.

Good looking place good food but way way overpriced...NY pricing in the keys lol Even tho it cost like a very high end place it does not look like it

Nicely prepped food. The Hog Fish Roll is a must order. Really wanted to eat some grouper cheeks but was out of season we were told. The Brussels Sprouts were very flavorful.

Swordfish, Yuzu rice, and truffled potatoes!!!!Fantastic!!!!

this is one of the best restaurants in the keys that I have been to. I didn't expect much based on the reviews, but the menu looked interesting so I showed up. And we were a party of four and was amazed at how good the food was. It's Japanese fusion, but with amazing flavor profile. I later told the chef that if a Cajun and a Japanese chef made friends this would be it because everything was high flavor. Even something as simple and as boring as you yuzu salad was bursting with flavor. I looked at some of the reviews that said the prices are high. But coming from Delray Beach Florida I feel like for what I got. The prices are actually inexpensive. A party of four with appetizers and not including alcohol drinks was 200 which seems great for amazing food. I definitely wouldn't consider it an expensive restaurant by any means. now I am a big foodie and I'm very particular about things. The MF atmosphere was great, the service was great and the food was amazing. They said the chef had only been there for about four months but what a treasure he is. I will always be back from now on.

Hog fish sashimi "spoons". We could have eaten these all night...delicious.

We arrived and it was an awkward welcome from the hostess and the staff; lots of rules where to park and how to order water and having the party together to sit down. Our server was friendly and welcomed us and took our cocktail orders. The bar is unimpressive, the cocktails were mediocre to below average and the orders were simple. Negronis and Old Fashioned should be well executed at a steakhouse, not the case here and the cherry in the old fashioned was neon pink like a dive bar. We switched to wine and the wine list is impressive and there are some values on the menu. Appetizers were mediocre at best. Lobster bisque, as others have shared was a miss. Shrimp Islamorada was average and the breading was soggy. Tomato basil was good. Entrees were good - fish, steak and lobster dishes were good. The sides were unimpressive and lacking in flavor. Dessert was a miss, house made key lime pie tasted store bought and the crème brûlée was inedible. The price for the meal was typical of a high end steak house, the experience and meal was something far different and can't recommend to others.

My favorite spot this whole trip!…read more My boyfriend and I are on our first weekend getaway together. We decided our last dinner in town would be here. Our friend Bubba highly recommended it, saying "square grouper slaps." If you know him, you know that is extremely high praise. Let me tell you, square grouper does indeed slap. We were seated on the patio, facing the marina. We got to watch a magical sunset as we literally stuffed ourselves stupid with a variety of insanely yummo seafood. We got the coconut shrimp, portobello fries, scallops, and the tile fish, all per the amazing Ari's recommendations. Did I take any pictures NO I was enjoying a wonderful evening with my yummy man. They were all absolute wins. I've never had coconut shrimp before, and these were absolutely delightful- tender and tropical, which is not a flavor I thought I would enjoy but was happy at that uno reverse. The portobello fries were crisp and juicy?? And meaty from the mushroom?? Idk man a bitch was into it I ate them all. My scallops were divine- they came with this pork belly and sweet potato hash and just pleasured every tastebud with every bite. His tile fish was good, it was crispy and gorg. He ate the whole thing so fast, while commenting in between bites how much he was enjoying it. We also got the key lime pie (mine) and the brownie (his). It was literally my favorite key lime pie of the whole trip, it was so good. We couldn't finish the desserts and took them home, I'm really excited to have them as the best midnight snack of my life. Amazing Ari- you are a gem. Her service was unmatched. She was so happy, informative, and attentive. Her recommendations did not miss. She took phenomenal pictures for us in front of the water that I can one day show our kids and say "look how hot mom and dad were before you guys!" She needs a 200% raise. Thank you for making our last night here so wonderful!

This was our third time giving this restaurant a chance, and unfortunately, nothing has changed. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching every other table receive attentive service, water, and condiments without asking. We were the only Hispanic guests, and the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling unwelcome. From the hostess to the servers, the staff was rude and unwelcoming. There are much better restaurants in the area where guests are treated with respect. It was either fried shrimp or fried fish alone as options.. i ended up ordering the Fried calamari as my meal. (I really wasnt in the mood for anything else and i tend to always order the fish tacos everywhere i go, so Alex told me to try something else). It was nothing special. The portion was on the smaller side. No tentacles. And I asked for the same sauce that came with the fritters cuz i dont like marinara. The hubby ordered Miso marinated Tuna steak.. he said it was good but it really wasn't what the menu said. The sauce was not an aoili.. it was a teriyaki sauce and there was no crispy onion flakes.
