I've been here 4-5 times now the last couple months for my mom's prescriptions. I was hoping someone would stand out so I could comment "wow!" .. hasn't happened I haven't had rude or terrible service, but it could be better. Transition from Rite Aide - not great, have to call on everything, won't refill and issues with getting insurance to work again. Service, not rude, not happy to serve me, just always somewhere in between, probably because the line is always about 6-8 people deep.. The app is horrible if you come from Rite Aide, you see nothing, after getting that resolved, adding as a family member took about 3 weeks to straighten out too.. much of this is CVS in general and not particular to this store as I personally use the one on the other end of town too. I wish it would be less busy so I could acutally tell if the people here care about us at all.. though, phone calls have been very short too, considering the prompts and hoops we jump through for a human, we should matter more!

He said he doesn't know who ordered what?!!! Not to say the store is dirty, but it does seem a bit neglected at times. It takes ages to get a staff member to unlock anything. And as half of the beauty supplies and cosmetics are on quarantine, this can be quite an issue. Also the most recent time their system was done, I was rather curtly informed of this by a stressed employee as I tried to make a return. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it's a place a come to with a full shopping list and end up leaving with a heavy heart and the harbinger of a migraine. I come in hopeful and leave channeling my inner Eeyore.

But right away the lady LUCY working at Returns department at the LIVERMORE, CA WALART seemed bothered as if I was inconveniencing her. Let me point out though she was on her phone when I first walked up. She right away says it's not Walmart's item before even scanning it. She just kept saying I needed a receipt and said I always need a receipt but in this case I didn't have one. End of the day the item did not come up which it was fine and I'm not complaining I couldn't return the item it was more on how she was just being towards me. Her tone and demeanor made me feel like I was doing something wrong. In my opinion if she's gonna be working in customer service she needs to understand how she should treat people.

I thought I had written a review already…read more This pharmacy saved me from my pharmacy nightmares since leaving kaiser. First off, never go to CVS; you will wait until your feet hurt, then wait in another line, then hear excuses about why your insurance won't cover your medicine (sometimes different reasons from different employees). But then I went to Safeway and met Kay and never had to deal with any of that ever again. I'm always in and out in 10-15 minutes, even when they need to fill my RX. They let me call ahead to order RXs they don't usually stock, even though I don't have the paper RX yet. All the employees are always extremely nice. Kay and Annie have, in my eyes, gone above and beyond to get pre- approvals, refills faxed, and RXs filled before I left for vacation. Even though I live much closer to the other Safeway and could use Rite Aid to my RXs, I still come here because I know it'll be a hassle free experience. Keep it up Safeway Pharmacy!!!

On the retail side, the shelves are literally half empty, and have been for almost a year. And last week I had my doc send a prescription there, only to find out after driving over, that they did not have it in stock. Poor communication. Between the Front of house and back of house failures, this location, and possibly the entire corporation, will not survive. I suggest mark Cuban's Cost Plus drugs, which will literally save you 50% - 90% on most prescriptions.

Kaiser pharmacy was closed so I needed CVS to call KP to get medication transferred to CVS. This is a standard practice. First call: Call CVS pharmacy & employee is completely unwilling to call KP. Has no idea what I'm talking about. Tells me I'll need to wait until MONDAY (3days) -- ergo not treating my EAR INFECTION. This is a real liability- what if I lost my hearing? I asked her for her name and she HANGS UP on me. I'm unclear if it's incompetence or not wanting to do her job. The appropriate response would be to ask a colleague if she did not know. *I found out later the employee- Chunoy (spelling?). Second call: I get Jenny who listens, calls Kaiser, gets medication transferred over. My partner picks it up. No problem. Also-- My medication at Kaiser is free but @ cvs this drug was going to cost $300. She used the code (I'm assuming on goodRx) to bring it wayyyy down. This 5 star is a shout out to Jenny for taking my concerns seriously and helping me to get my medication and not wait until Monday when I could have had more severe issues by then. Thank you, Jenny! Spoke with manager, Emily, who was also wonderful.
