I know others have had issues with this place before and I have been going here for about 5 years now and today I have had a bad experience. I called ahead to make sure the prescriptions would be ready when I came. They told me 3:30 it would be ready. I came at 3:45 and they still were not ready. They told me to wait and when I asked how long they told me to go park and come back through the line and hung up so I used the call button to again ask how long but was in shock how rude the lady was. The person in photos/ kiosk isn't interested in helping those waiting for help at the kiosk, like not wanting to stop ringing paying customers in long lines in order to help the next customer, which has been waiting to be next for 20-1/2 hour of siting!,waiting at the kiosks to pay their PG&E bill before it expires. & your power is turned off for lack of payment. read more

Here I am writing a review on another Walgreens. Obviously this is hardly worth my time, but if this can cause someone else to get their pictures sooner then it was worth it. We (meaning my friend and I) dropped off our disposable cameras to get developed. Turn around time 2 weeks, + a little extra because of holidays etc. Fair enough -- 2 weeks seems like a lot, but fair enough. It really was done, according to the receipt, after about 18 days. Which would have been, again, fair enough. This length of time, while long, is not the main cause of my complaint here. Because the date on my receipt was two weeks ago, and I am only just now in receipt of the photos today -- only through the efforts of my friend's mom, who apparently and thankfully had it in her mind to go check on our photos and double down on the dubious claim of the employee that our photos are not in yet. Perhaps this is a lesson in my part to be at the very least more inquisitive. Not to be pushy, I know no Walgreens employee gets paid enough to be gotten pushy with by some customer, but it did take a little strong-arming if we ever wanted to get our photos. Because, and while I wasn't there to confirm, apparently our photos had ended up in this "other" pile, separate from those alphabetized. My name is handwritten instead of printed on the receipt and somehow its the wrong phone number, and its not my friend's phone number either. So quite the dropping of the ball here by Walgreens unfortunately. I will look elsewhere and maybe do some research before getting photos processed here. Not sure if this is something that Walgreens cares about, of course, because I did not spend any money (IIRC) on this service. read more

I recently called the Walgreens Livermore pharmacy because they needed additional information to process my prescription because it was related to a workers compensation claim. They asked me to call back and provide the information. Once I received the information and I called the pharmacy, they told me they were too busy to take down the information. They asked that I keep calling back to try and find a time when they're not busy so they could write down the information for my prescription. I am shocked and how unprofessional and unprepared the Walgreens pharmacy is in Livermore. read more

I hate picking up my Rx at the S 1st St Livermore location. I would use another pharmacy but my insurance only covers Walgreens. The customer service is horrible and understaffed. I have had the same Rx for 7 years at this Livermore pharmacy. All 7 years Walgreens on S 1st St has not been able to fill my entire, routine Rx at once. (Even when calling in to refill) They are ALWAYS Out of stock. I have to wait at least 1 day or make two trips to get the entire (30 or 90 day) supply. Even the manager said she can't do anything about it, it's out of her control. In contrast, When visiting my family in Windsor Colorado, I have no problems. At the Windsor CO Walgreens I can order and pick up my entire (30 or 90 day) Rx same day. And the customer service is outstanding, friendly and I don't wait in line more than 5 minutes. read more

While the pharmacy is always slow and understaffed, I've come to accept it as it seems that most or all pharmacies in Livermore are awful. However, this review is solely for the interaction I witnessed with a Spanish-speaking customer and Janette at the pharmacy. The customer was asking for someone who spoke Spanish, to which Janette replied, "ENGLISH IS THE ONLY LANGUAGE I SPEAK." Maybe instead of yelling at the customer, ask one of your teammates who can assist to do so. Once it was my turn to be helped, she says to me and another co-worker, "Doesn't RED mean 'no' in every language??" Firstly, don't lump me into your racist antics, and save those asinine comments for yourself. Absolutely inappropriate to be saying something like that to another customer, or at all within earshot of others. Have some grace, Janette. read more

I almost didn't write this review because all of them before me are equally as bad if not worse, but I thought it might make me feel better to voice my frustration and maybe make a difference. I have been getting my prescriptions here for over 5 years and love the convenience of the drive thru and the automatic refills. I've never had a problem and I guess you never know how bad customer service is until you need help. I called this afternoon because of an issue with my prescription and when the woman answered the phone after I had been waiting on hold for 15 minutes I could tell she was frazzled and they were busy (it was super loud in the background), but I had waited my turn and needed my problem resolved. I explained my situation and I could tell she wasn't really listening although it was an easy fix and not a hard problem to resolve, just a bit of confusion and miscommunication. I tried to repeat myself and she literally said, "Oh my God, just hold on" and back to the music for me. Needless to say she never came back, somebody picked it up for a second and immediately put it back on hold again. As I sat there waiting the second time I was thinking what am I doing? It's not like they have some special medicine I can't get anywhere else. I already have one prescription at Costco and it's easy and quick to go there, so I am transferring the others there as of today. I don't know if they have automatic refills and they don't have a drive thru, but they also didn't treat me like I was treated this afternoon. Maybe my voice doesn't matter, but my money being taken away does. read more

This pharmacy is slow. When I came here for my flu vaccine in August, I was here for over an hour. This time was a bit better. 25 minute wait for a COVID booster with an appointment. In comparison, every vaccine I've gotten at a CVS, Target, or Walmart had me in and out within 10 minutes. This place is the reason I stopped physically picking up my prescriptions and started getting them all via the mail. I do get photo prints here as well, and they're always ready quickly. read more

Do not take your children here for passport photos! They told me they can just photoshop the image from one on your phone to remove the background. When I requested them to actually take a photo, they struggled with a slow digital camera. I even offered my cell phone camera. We finally looked over the images and saw one acceptable photo but the software they had didn't accept it as correct. Keep in mind, this is a toddler we are trying to capture. The sizing of his head will not fit the same standards as an adult photo. So finally, my boyfriend offered a photo from his phone so we could see how they managed to crop the background out. After being in the store over 45 minutes and finally seeing the "passport photo" with half his hair on top of his head cut off, we walked out. Learn from our mistake. I just stood at the register ready to check out while the older female cashier actively ignored me for about 10 mins while she talked to a customer at the photo center. She could have acknowledged me, called for backup or just so apologized for the wait but failed to do all, even when the line got very, very long. Once she finally came to ring me up, there was no eye contact, greeting or apology for the wait. Next time I'll just order my items from Amazon or Walmart to be delivered. These people working here lack basic customer service. No greeting or offer to help customers at all. They are so understaff, so they are all mean and inpatient. My dentist doctor prescribed something for the pain. And they still did not have it ready after 4 hours of it being sent. LONG lines, so many people, most of them being sent back to come back in a hour to check on it. Or the medicine is "not prescribed". Instead of relaxing and sleeping like I was suppose to I had to call the pharmacy, no one answered a robot of course. And Call my dentist they confirmed with me that they did put the order in since the morning! And my mom went through the drive kept telling her that it's not there and that we picked it up yesterday ( which was for another Medicine). They were rude and yelled at me talked over me and did not listen to what I was saying. Mind you it was the same day they took my bottom wisdom teeth out and it was hard for me to talk. If you want to spend hours waiting for prescriptions to be filled, only to be given the run-around about insurance not approving it, or your copay suddenly jumping 600%, then by all means, go here. I have given this pharmacy more chances than I care to admit to get their act together, and time after time they have proven they simply don't know what they're doing. Once, i needed my son's albuterol. The same medication I had been filling for over a year. The same insurance. Same employer... no changes, yet one day, SUDDENLY, they claimed my insurance was not authorizing Albuterol. Ridiculous right? why all of a sudden? The pharmacy could give no explanation and said they were trying to work with insurance to find out why but were getting no resolution. After working with my son's pediatrician and making a call to the insurance myself, miraculously the prescription was filled. Several months later my doctor placed me on a particular medication. I filled it the first month, with no issues, Month two I went to fill it, and Walgreens went from charging me $5 to $655. Nothing about the medication had changed, yet somehow, AGAIN, my "insurance" was no longer covering that portion of the cost. It simply made no sense, and as a result, i went without the medication since i could not afford $600 and did not have the time or energy to work with the insurance to figure out the issue. Again, this month, my daughter was prescribed ADHD medications. Her doctor sent a refill order for her before Thanksgiving break, to ensure we had time to get it before her return to school. After making several trips to the pharmacy and waiting over an hour each time and having to leave, I was able to get through the line, only to be told that my "insurance" was no longer honoring the generic brand of her medication and was requiring a purchase of the name-brand. When i asked what the co-pay for the name brand medication would cost, I was told TWO MILLION DOLLARS. This sounds fake, right? I gasped, shook my head and asked for clarification. It was repeated. I again, clarified by asking "two million dollars, like, more than I paid for my home?" The pharmacist only nodded and again, suggested I contact my insurance as they had not gotten anywhere with them. Two weeks later, I had my medications filled at CVS with no concerns about insurance, and no copay exceeding $15. Walgreens has me baffled at what kind of scam they're running. Do people actually pay exorbitant copays simply out of desperation and fatigue from waiting an hour+ each time? I certainly don't expect anyone would EVER fork over 2 mil, but $600? potentially. I just don't understand this. I can't get past it, and I'm done giving them chance after chance to get their service together. read more

Pharmacy _ if you'd like to be upset almost every time you pick up your prescription especially if it's not reoccurring choose this place. Today I got in line, waited and was told to give them 10 minutes and jump in drive thru (no problem). Then after waiting more than 10 minutes at the window I was told to get in the back of the line AGAIN behind 6 cars or come back inside. Came back inside to another customer complaining about a lost prescription and someone in line discussing how their mail order is touch and go. My favorite pick up memory was coming straight from the hospital after delivery I was told I should have come sooner they had restocked the item. They make it really hard not to walk out of there wondering how they stay in business. It's always something - I'm moving on. read more

Absolutely terrible service. No such thing as same day pick up here so if you order something like photos be prepared to pick it up days later! I placed an order for a canvas at 10:30 AM and everywhere you look it's advertised as same day pickup. In my confirmation email it states that I can pick up my order anytime after 11:30AM. I arrived at 3 PM so plenty of time from my original email. They were just printing it at 3PM! I've now been sitting for 40 minutes awaiting for my canvas to be assembled since the employee tore the first one. All the while the same employees are ringing up customers as no one ever seems to be working here, delaying my gift even more. read more

My experience with Walgreens sorry to say but it has been horrible, long lines inside and outside. Several times I have called in or went through the drive threw to refill prescriptions and only to be told again the doctor has to approve. So I called in to request a refill and was on the phone for 1/2 hour and then the phone started ringing and ringing and ringing and then the line drops. I dread having to deal with Walgreens, I was very happy with Lucky pharmacy and miss Debbie always greeting me with a big smile and kindness. Very sad. Went in for a passport photo. Only one person seemed to be available. She was at the register, answering the phone, providing assistance calls in store departments. She was trying to help someone on the phone while all of these other duties went undone. After 20 mins. we left. I went in there recently to grab some snacks since I'll be working from home the next few days, a nice little lady named Joanne asked if I have a membership card because the candy sale is $2 for 2 etc. She saw that I had quite a bit in my basket lol, she mentioned signing up for a card is very easy and fast so I decided to do so. Excessive wait times in the pharmacy whether inside or drive thru. Minimum 30 minute wait time. On 12/10/2021, waited over 30 minutes in drive thru to pick up a prescription at a little after 11a.m. I know it is cold and flu season so I was patient even though I was late getting back to work. The same day at approximately 3:10 pm, I came through the drive thru to pickup antibiotics and was told it would be approximately 30 minutes and asked if I could come back. Again a 30 minute wait before I was helped. I came back after dinner at approximately, 6:30 and again waited in drive thru for approximately 30 minutes. 3 other customers left. When I finally reached the window I was advised that the antibiotics that I was supposed to start taking today was still going to be another 20 minutes 3 hous later. This is unacceptable customer service behavior. read more

I constantly get phone messages letting me know my medications are ready, but when I get there they it is not ready. It's not even available and they have to special order. And it takes a few days. I ordered matte photos, received glossy and they are literally going in the trash. The employee told me that their printer was probably not working and it's why I got glossy. I ordered two prints. In one both people in the photo look they have multiple blue/purple bruises on their skin and in the other photo the person's face is literally smeared. 10/10 don't recommend their photo printing services. I could legit print better photos on my home printer. read more
