I have never received such horrible customer service in my life by one male who works the check out and drop off counter. He was rude to me and you can just tell he is miserable, hates is job and possibly even his life. But what was worse was watching how he treats elderly or the super sick. They are needing a little support while navigating obtaining a prescription and he was offering nothing even close to the support and tenderness they needed. There's a reason there's only 2.3 out of 5 stars at this store! I have been coming here since before they were longs. The service has just gotten worse and worse and it's at an all-time low now. CVS in general, probably has the market for pharmacy services but they still manage to have an awful website, call tree and pharmacy processes and usually their staff too!! None of them seem happy or appear to like their job! Stop pushing the covid vax-it kills people! The pharmacy should be working behind the counter and not out giving immunizations. Line almost always 5, 6...customers deep (but you'll never hear the clerk say something like "thanks for waiting. I'll be with you shortly"). There's typically an issue with most orders for a lot of their customers (I see that as I wait in line) that's either the dr's fault, insurance's fault or God forbid, CVS's fault. I find it ridiculous that as large a company that CVS is, they can't better cover the counter at lunchtime. I've absolutely never seen a business shut down like they do for lunch. Maybe a mom and pop shop, but not CVS! Cheapskate's! Today's issue...they didn't put a second sealed bottle of my prescription in my bag, just the extra twenty to go with the 100 qty in sealed manufacturer's bottle. I called, the pharmacy said they said they looked on a camera and saw the bottle. I asked if she was looking at her desk alone and saw it go in the bag with the excess bottle of 20? How does she know what's in the bag I got? Pharmacist wouldn't tell me. It did only take her 2.5 is minutes for her to look at it. Hmmmmm. At that point she started getting snippy with me and took the stance that I was absolutely wrong and they couldn't help me further and I was asking too many questions that she doesn't have to tell me. I just wanted to hear her say it could be human error. Tried calling store mgr. no answer or outgoing message. This btw, is a non narcotic medication. At this point, I don't know if my dr will write a new prescription. I don't know if my insurance will cover it if he does. So I've got to deal with something that's not my fault at all. They need to understand that the customer is not always wrong. oh and when I look at how they stapled the bag to the literature, there's no way they could've put two bottles in it. But I knew CVS was going to give me a hard time over it. They (as in just this store) stopped allowing you to pick up your medication a couple days early like they used to. Why? People may need it a bit early sometimes. Especially if it's a morning med and you can't get to the store until 6:00 or we go away sometimes, have previous plans, work, etc. and need to pick it up before the actual date you're supposed start taking it for the month. It's just stupid how difficult they have to make things. None of it is their fault and the customer is always wrong! Sorry for the novel. So much more to say. I hope I got my point across! read more

Losing Rite Aid in Springtown was devastating. It was amazing- convenience, quick and kind service, a drive thru. Plus as soon as they announced they were closing, I knew this meant our next best option was CVS. Ugh. We stopped going there years ago because they were so slow, poor communicators, always had long lines, and the customer service was terrible. It had to have improved since we were last there, right?? No. The answer is a hard no. It takes so long to get prescriptions filled. There is no personal touch at all. They don't know my family and I and don't care to. The lines are always long or just move so damn slow. I have gotten good customer service maybe 10% of the time. More often than not, their computers are slow or not working or the employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. I fully understand that the working conditions there may be really poor and that may be why the employees are miserable, but there is a much larger issue that corporate needs to look at. But that's not even the worst part. I arrived to pick up a prescription one day 15 minutes before their scheduled lunch break. There were signs everywhere so I was well aware, but I stood in line with other people. By the time I got to the front, there were still 5-6 minutes left before their lunch break, but instead of saying anything to their customers, they just closed the gate and went to lunch. Didn't even acknowledge that some of us had been waiting there for 10 minutes already. It was so incredibly rude. Now today, I arrive at 9:15AM after I've checked that they are opening at 9 AM and there is a handwritten sign that says they won't open until 10 AM. I understand that someone may have called out sick or something may have happened, but this is not a rare occurrence with them. It's bad customer service time after time. I'm assuming that corporate doesn't care about things like this because they're making enough money to ignore customers. I have shifted as many of my families prescriptions to online delivery as I can, but there are a few medications that have to be picked up in person. At this point, I'm thinking it's worth an inconvenient drive to not have to come to this location any longer. read more

The worst pharmacy I ever used. I think when they started closing for lunch in the middle of the day, it was the last drop in the bucket. Now, on top of other things, we have to remember their lunch hour and work around it. And the lines are even longer before and after lunch break. And there is always a line... Really??? Even when I see few people working in the back and the line is long, often they have only one cashier open. Last time I was there I had the code ready in my hand for a quick pickup and my 84 year old mother waiting in the car. The line was very long and very slow. The woman in front of me chatted for a while and finally moved over to the side to rearrange her purse. I moved closer hoping to get the meds and be on my way, but the clerk rudely told me to wait. It is almost like they slow it down and take their time on purpose. Well... I moved all my mother's prescriptions to Express Scripts, have them autofilled and delivered for free to the house and never ever want to step into this cvs store again. I rarely feel this strong about anything, but I truly hate that pharmacy. Have to mention though...., they have one clerk who is an exception. I don't know her name, but heard her speak Spanish as well as English. She manages to move fast, always be friendly and caring with everyone. read more

You can't call down there you have to leave a message to possibly get called about 1 out of 4 messages calls me back. Rx's that used to take them 1hr to have ready same day now it's always the next day with at least 1 not ready. Manager Jon was extremely rude talking over her and wouldn't let her explain, then kicked her out of the store! I feel so bad, she was just trying to do her job. I saw her crying in her car. I am not a huge fan of CVS....they are a sorry replacement for my beloved Longs. Their coupon system is just silly, they have very limited merchandise. That said the DGD's and I need a few things the day-before-Christmas Eve. Grandma need cough drops, kids new crayons. We arrived early, before 10. It was great, easy parking, quick and easy shopping trip. The little *weggins* wanted purple/pink Santa hats....and for under 5 bucks, they got them. I only went to this CVS today because the kaiser pharmacy is closed on Sunday, and I needed an immediate fill on a new prescription I got at ValleyCare the previous night. So not only was it TWICE as expensive as kaiser, it took longer for my prescription to be filled because I with Kaiser in the first place. I can only really see myself using the pharmacy here if I truly do need something immediately; CVS gets bonus points for being open on the weekend, but I prefer the customer service and prices of my primary pharmacy as opposed to CVS. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff here is slow. Service is terrible. Drop off line is closed after standing in line in the regular line an employee finally opens it up and jumps on the phone. I am told I have to now go to her line. I point out she is on a call and I have been in line for along time. He says he cannot help me I have to go over there. I go over to the other line and then have to wait again while she take on the phone. Pharmacist lady is rude and acts dumb so she don't have to work. I am moving my prescriptions from here. Terrible terrible pharmacy avoid at all costs long lines staff who don't give a crap and a major league run around to get a vaccine that Target could have administered in 5 min. I had to make 6 trips every time turned away with excuses COVID no PPE (except I'm a Health care provider and i know that wasn't true) COVId come back in 2 weeks, COVId come back in a week, pharmacist at lunch, pharmacist in a telephone meeting, on and on total run around. By the 6th time and after waiting 30 min I was told it was "a couple of days too late" and my doctor had to certify it was OK for 2 days. No apology no empathy just we won't give it to you stupid schmuck because we don't want to. I will never set foot in that dirty under-stocked place again. read more

Albeit I couldn't get the item I was looking for but maybe next time. Horrible pharmacy. I've had some small snafus here in the past, but today took the cake... They were faxed prescriptions from my doctor two days ago. It still wasn't in the system by the time I called today... Once a pharmacist went to physically look at the ignored faxes, she located mine and mis-quoted me on the price. I asked her to transfer both to another CVS location, being careful to give her the address as well as the store number. She assured me it would go right through and be ready for me within the next hour or two... Fast forward TEN HOURS to when I showed up to the other CVS location, exhausted from a long day and ready to get my prescriptions and go. They did not have my prescriptions ready because LIVERMORE NEVER FAXED THEM OVER. They did not call me or the store or anyone else; just flat out never did the transfer. When the other store got them on the phone, they were told they did not send it through "because they didn't know where to send it" - UM, NO. Talk about shitty service and flat-out dishonesty. There was no apology, just flat-out bullshit. This mix-up took about an hour to clear-up, between their phone calls back and forth and slow fax delivery. Not cool. read more

I have used the pharmacy hundreds of times and they're always on time and helpful. The staff are friendly and the pharmacist is always helpful with any questions I have. I have also used the Kodak kiosk here which is very convenient, cheap and quick for 4x6 pictures (a little pricey for larger ) Also sometimes they have great deals on their seasonal items so make sure to keep an eye out read more

I hear the pharmacy is terrible. Wouldn't know, since I haven't used it yet. Prices here are very expensive, bordering on rip-off. Cosmetics here are waaay pricier than they are at Target or Walmart. HOWEVER, they have tons of variety. There were all kinds of things here that I haven't seen at Target. I love Revlon, and they had an entire line I'd never seen before! I ended up leaving with a lipliner and lipstick (both in berry) that I was very happy with. Use coupons and their "quick cash" or whatever it is, that you can accumulate from shopping at the store (although you can't use it on pharmacy or alcohol). Then at least you're spending in a wiser and more cost-effective way! read more

I'd give this location zero stars if I could. First of all, all the makeup was either open and used, or scattered on the ground. There were entire shelves that were empty, which diminished the selection greatly. There was also a whole shelf that had just collapsed and strewn makeup all over the floor. Secondly, the customer service is horrible. My friend and I came here to kill some time before heading to the outlets. We were browsing through the makeup section when we noticed a male employee following and eyeing us. We ignored him and continued to browse. Admittedly , we did spend a long time there, 45 minutes, but that was because we couldn't find the brand of lipstick we wanted to purchase. At this time, the male employee walked up to me and brusquely ordered me to open up my bag. I was confused and did so. I even took out my belongings to show him that I hadn't stolen anything, and was planning to buy the lipstick I was holding. After this, he walked away without even apologizing for his accusation. He didnt even acknowledge us when we called out that we were sorry for being bothersome. My friend and I were so embarrassed and angry, we just left. Oh, and just so you know, we DID pay for the lipstick. I realize that teenagers are known to shoplift and whatnot, but does he really think I can't afford a three dollar lipstick? Is it perhaps because I'm Asian? Does that automatically render me as cheap? Anyways, my friend and I were humiliated and very, very upset. we have vowed to never visit this Cvs again. Don't worry about us stealing your crap, because we're never coming back. It's really pretty small for a cvs. The one across town is probably 1.5 times this one. But they seem to have everything a cvs would. And the cashier was friendly. This review is for the pharmacy. We have been long time customers at this pharmacy and have just pulled all of our prescriptions out and moved to a different pharmacy. Over the last year, the service and our confidence in the ability of this pharmacy to meet our needs has declined greatly. We love Rickey and Jill? Liberty was great as well and we miss her. The new staff is rude (Flor) and seems unwilling to help. Several times we have been told that our scrip isn't covered by insurance when in fact they were running an old rx or something that we didn't ask for. There is always a 30 minute line in there and someone has always called in sick or is on break so the line is huge always. And forget about trying to call and ask about anything. Lots of excuses and no real reason to stay. Sorry but you've lost our 30+ prescriptions and weekly business at the store. Not that you care. read more

Updated 4/4/15 I left my original review below and had given them three stars, but they have fallen to only one star now. Several times I have dropped off or tried refilling a prescription only to find they don't have it in stock. The pharmacist in charge shouldn't be. Most recently just a few weeks ago I dropped off two new prescriptions, they did not have the inhaler and wanted to know if I wanted to come back the following day for it. My answer was no since I was having trouble breathing. I took both prescriptions across the street to Target who had them in stock and even texted me when they were ready. This past week I got a call saying they didn't have my refill in stock but they have it in a couple of days. I said that would be fine. When I went to pick it up, it was the generic brand, not what I was told would be ordered and ready for pick up. This is not the first time I have had issues and delays with this prescription. Who wants to do business with a pharmacy that can't keep what you need in stock when you need it? I have since transferred all of my prescriptions across the street to Target. They even offer an app for easy transfer and refills. If you need a prescription filled I'd advise you to go elsewhere if you need it that same day and want what your doctor prescribed. Original comment: I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for a few years now. They pharmacy staff is always polite and friendly (unlike the CVS across town). My one complaint is when I buy other items at the pharmacy counter the sale price does not always come up, maybe this happens at all the registers...? This has happened several times now and I don't always notice right away. So after this week, I will go to the pharmacy but for other items I will wait until I am at Target where it's cheaper at full price. It's great for prescriptions but not much else. read more

Here at CVS pharmacy with my prescription and the lady does not even know how to look up my insurance. Waited 10 min for her to try, she took a copy of my card because the line was getting to long,they called me 20 minutes later asking if I could bring my card back. Wait 10 more minutes for the gentlemen if front of me then another 20 minutes waiting for her to so the same thing she did a hour ago. "Miss do you want to pay out of pocket then they can give the money back to you later" I was just here on Saturday for my son no issues with my insurance. I will not be back here again. read more

This store used to be Longs but now it's CVS. I bought a blackberry Izze drink here on Sept 30th. They were having a sale, 3 Izze drinks for $4. Halfway through drinking it, I happened to glance at the bottle and realized it had expired on April 26th. Wouldn't have thought much of it if it had expired a day or so ago, or in a few days, but almost 6 MONTHS?? Ridiculous. I used this pharmacy for several months up until last month to refill my prescriptions and almost every time I had to wait over 20 mins. I used to enjoy wondering around the store looking at the odd things they sell. But that novelty has worn off and the wait is very irritating now. There is also a male pharmacist who is seriously rude and abrupt, almost as if answering a question regarding the medication is wasting his time! This location is alway short on some basics ie needles (diabetic use). So, this month I changed all my refills to Target! Wow, what a difference!
