I had a feeling I would hate Walgreens pharmacy after being automatically transferred over to Walgreens from Lucky's pharmacy. Regardless I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say my doubts were correct. I have been on hold with them for half an hour & counting. I have yet to have spoken to anyone.. will definitely be leaving Walgreens. Customers do not want to deal with this BS when needing a prescription refill. Not only that, being on hold and having the automated message repeat "we're sorry our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we will be with you shortly" every 15 seconds DOES NOT HELP. GOODBYE WALGREENS. Will not be refilling any of my medication with you and will also be transferring my entire family as well. read more

Literally the worst pharmacy ever. I had to go here for insurance reasons. They are lazy, take forever, and there's always something that goes wrong every time I pick up a prescription. One time I was told my prescription was ready, drove there and waited in a 40 min line, and then the pharmacist told me to come back the next day because it wasn't ready and it would take a while. I told her I'm leaving for out of town in the morning and she goes ... ok give me 2 min I'll fill it. So basically she just didn't want to have to fill it at that moment. The pharmacy department needs more workers and/or a more diligent staff. I called today to inquire about a prescription that my doctor sent in two days ago that has yet to be filled. I was on hold for 28 minutes. Multiple times someone would pick up the call and immediately place me back on hold. Not one time did anyone give me an update of how much longer I would have to wait or even the courtesy of asking me to continue holding. At 28 minutes they hung up on me. Pharmacy dept is irresponsible in performing their main function - ordering prescriptions... we waited 10 days and finally decided to call to get status on a toddler's multi-vitamin that was prescribed by doctor. Well my first mistake was trusting Walgreens with my photos (which were expensive even on sale). They completely botched a floating frames and a canvas. They redid them, but botched it again. Finally I was sick of dealing with it so I took apart the floating frame myself and fixed it. The photos have creases in them, now but I am not going back again. Could have done this from the beginning and went through Amazon and did it myself, or just stick with Shutterfly. read more

The line was 4 people deep and only 1 person running the register. I saw 2 additional employees come up at different times. Why can't they open up the other side to help?? I've eagerly been awaiting this store's grand opening for months. I drove past just a few weeks ago and it was still empty inside. Then just a few days ago my boyfriend told me it was open. So we decided to venture over this evening. It's smaller than I expected. They have all the items you would expect a drugstore to have. I was pretty disappointed with their weekly sale items. They were scarce. I went over to the grocery section because I have 5% cash back on my Chase Freedom card at drugstores right now. So I thought I would check to see if they had stuff I would normally buy at Safeway included in this weeks sale. Not only are there far less food items than CVS and Rite Aid, but barely any of it was on sale. There were no cereals on sale and only one or two snack items like cheez itz and other crackers. CVS always has 7 or 8 snack things on sale. I ended up buying some small boxes of Fig Newtons that were marked on sale as 99 cents each. My boyfriend got some trail mix and mixed nuts that were marked on sale for 2.99 each. The girl who rang us up was so annoying. She was overly/fake happy. She commented on almost everything we bought. Then when I handed her a coupon she started talking about how she loves coupons and her sister always uses coupons. So we get home and realized that all of the sale items we got didn't ring up correctly. The mixed nuts and trail mix rang up for 3.99 each instead of the posted 2.99. My Fig Newtons rang up 2/2.98. I'm sure I'll be back. But I hope they'll fine tune a few things. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Constantly can't get my medications. Now they are having to order some more than once to get it, which I am lucky if I get it in less than 5 days. I also very much appreciate when you are on hold and in order to get around their automatic system, they pick it up just to put you on hold again...and again. My record is 8 times. EIGHT TIMES they pick it up and put you right back on hold with no comment. I ended up driving up there to get help. The whole pharmacy is a joke. Wish I didn't have to use them, but I have to unless I want to play double for my meds. read more

I am beyond irritated. Just went through the Pharmacy drive through for medication I need for my RADS lung condition. On a normal day entering stores are bad/dangerous for me due to chemical cleaners and fragrances people wear and I'm often with a mask protecting my lungs that are very reactive and often ends in pneumonia with short exposures to chemicals. Jump to this day and age with the COVID-19 issues and hyper vigilance to cleaning, hand sanitizer etc. My airways are inflamed and I'm having a ton of issues and am nearly out of my inhaler. I got a refill after 3 days of waiting and go through the drive through to pick it up as I also have an ear infection, coughing and sore throat. I'm told all 3 of my insurance's don't work and there's nothing they can do, call Wellcare.. well did that and they are not open weekends. On their website it says I'm active and current. Yet I cannot pick up my prescription. Fine, I ask for sudafed so I can help clear up an ear infection but am told I have to come into the store. I get policy, but seriously do you want someone sick and coughing in your store right now? Someone at high risk? No exceptions? I'm going to have to send my 82 year old mother that has diabetes, kidney failure and a heart condition instead? Not much options so I'm home now with nothing and shortness of breath because I'm trying to save the last 8 "puffs" I have in my current inhaler. (Currently using 2 puffs 4x/day to maintain lung function) Thanks for nothing Walgreens. You truly did nothing to help. Hospitals are life threatening for me already with the chemicals to sanitize but may be where I end up after waiting all weekend to get through to insurance being it's only Saturday morning... I will be switching back to Lucky pharmacy that always went out of their way to help when stupid billing issues arise. read more

Came in to drop off a fedex package since Walgreens is an authorized fedex ship station. The lady at the register rudely asked if it was over 20lbs. It wasn't, it was 15 pounds. After a weird ambiguous back and forth, she told me I can't leave it. Super super rude... I left infuriated. It's fine if you can't be a fedex drop off, just simply don't be one. You can't sort of be one... also my package was easily within the "limit". Never coming back here. read more

They wasted my new pharmacist's time and had them on hold for over an hour with no luck. I tried and tried to reach someone in the store, nobody answers. I was at the pharmacy on 3/2 and there service was terrible. Stacie was working the counter. There was a person in the line in front of me waiting for her prescription to be filled. Instead of acknowledging me or saying i would be right with you, she left me waiting for over 5 minutes while the prescription was being filled. When she finally helped me i asked why did she did ask the other person if she could help me, or better yet, move to the other service counter to serve on me. Her comment is that she only likes working with one client and that i could wait. Again, just acknowledging that i was in line would have done wonders. Asking the person to step aside while they filled their prescription would have even been better. The sad part was that i only had a simple question to ask. My only experience is with their drive-thru covid testing. I don't mind waiting in long lines, but the customer service was terrible. An extremely grumpy elderly woman was working the window. She was terribly difficult to understand, got annoyed if I asked her to repeat herself, did not explain procedure well at all, rolled her eyes and was overall clearly miserable to be working there. I wish that there was a separate page for the pharmacy because It seems that all these negative reviews on this page mainly reflect the actions of the workers in the pharmacy department only and not the store as a whole. My fiancé has several monthly prescriptions and after an insurance change we had to switch them over to Walgreens. Come to find out this is the pharmacy my brother in law uses as well. After some confusion when he went to pick up his prescriptions he texts me asking if I had picked up how stuff somehow- I said no I had not picked up anything for my fiancé that week and he had done it himself. After a phone call we figured out that they had given my brother in laws prescriptions to my fiancé accidentally. They did not ask for ID, did not have him give a signature- NOTHING. So when he was given a bag for B. Dawkins with the correct date of birth he obviously assumed it was his. Since he was not out of any of his meds yet he had not opened the bag (he had not come home for the day yet so the bag was in the car- had he come home we would have caught all this quicker). THIS WAS CLEARLY THE MISTAKE OF NO ONE BUT WHOEVER WAS WORKING THIS DAY. End of story. Do we get an apology? Or how about an apology for giving away meds with no ID check and no signature at all?! No. What we get is a "we will no longer be filling any of your prescriptions. The pharmacist doesn't feel comfortable since you took meds that were not yours". Hello?!? Hi!!! This is your fault and no one else's. I had even given them a pass at the beginning saying ok well this 100% shouldn't happen but in their case only I can see it since they both have a B name, same last name and same birthdate- the checker probably saw the bag and grabbed it on accident and just handed it on over. Everyone got their correct meds at the end of the day. No harm no foul- make a note in the computer and move the fu k on.....right?!? NOPE. We are now banned from here......as if we were involved in some drug conspiracy!!!!!.....sorry I'm not sure anyone would choose to take blood pressure meds and seizure meds just because. Clearly from the rest of the reviews this place needs to switch it up and hire a new staff. There's plenty of great people out there looking for employment. read more

I've been experiencing some issues with some of the staff there regarding my mother's medication. My father had to walk in himself to fix it. Thankfully Yamini was very professional and super helpful by giving my mom the medication that's she's been needing since last Wednesday! My gout flared up and I couldn't walk without major pain. I need bottle of water and bottle of aleve. She told me I can't do it in drive-thru!! You have to come at the store. I was in so much pain! This happen around 8ish on 9/25/19. Also store had One customer it was not very busy inside I was told its store policy but you could have brought everything to the cashier instead walking in pain looking for items. Worst pharmacy in Livermore. Came to drop off prescription, closed from 1 to 2pm for lunch. Finally dropped it off, it will take 2 hours? They call and say it is ready, this I actually appreciate but everyone does that. Get in line and there is one person in front of me. Have to wait 20 minutes while they figure out their problem. Okay, so the store and most of its employees are great (the only reason for at least 3 stars)... Except for some people in the pharmacy department. I had a very time sensitive prescription to be filled. It was very slow, There was only me and another man there. The pharmacist who is a woman (very helpful and nice) said it would take 20 minutes to fill. She then left it to the male pharmacist. After sitting in the waiting area for 45 minutes without being called, I went up to the front and asked what was going on. He then stepped about two feet to the right, grabbed the bag, and handed it to me, so presumably, it had just been sitting there and no one had bothered to let me know it was ready even though I was sitting 10 feet away and very visible. It takes a lot to actually upset me in a customer service situation, but it was so important that I collect the prescription in a timely matter that the complete lack of concern was really frustrating. Politely waiting will get you no where here unfortunately, so don't be afraid to go up after 20 minutes and remind them that you have continued to exist. I know it wasn't just me; the other man who was there walked up to the counter after I arrived and complained that he'd been waiting almost an hour after being told 29 minutes... That should've been my first sign. read more

I was just there. I waited in line in their clearly defined waiting space through two customers. A clerk, reddish hair cut in a bob, comes up, calls out "May I help you" and summons over a large guy who wasn't even standing in line. Miss Bob proceeds to help him. When I was being helped by the first clerk, Miss Bob interjects herself rather haughtily and then went off rather dismissively...as if I really wanted her help... First clerk was nice...Miss Bob is clearly overly impressed by herself. Not inclined to give this Walgreens any more business than I have to. read more

I went for a passport photo, they took me over to a refrigerated food section and pulled a screen down took my picture there. I turned in with application only to have it returned for picture not being acceptable. $19 for picture down the drain not to mention postage and waiting in line at post office. Now I am not getting my passport in time because of having to redo. I went to Costco and paid $5 for a new picture that turned out much better. read more

Kinks ironed out! I have now had more good interactions than bad interactions at this location. The pharmacy techs are on par with the Pharmacists which means they are great. In addition, a pharmacy tech, who's name escapes me, was able to call my insurance on my behalf to have them fill a prescription that I otherwise would have to wait close to 2 weeks to get.
