So many great Georgian restaurants in Southern Brooklyn and Central Queens with fantastic food but missing an element of drinks, service, or atmosphere. This restaurant has everything. We ordered all the classics: Georgian natural wine, adjaruli khachapuri, lamb khinkali, and chicken tabaka with a creamy garlic sauce. Service was excellent. Very attentive and the staff gave some helpful tips to better enjoy the food. Wine was chilled and was the perfect option to match the big flavors and soothe on a hot summer day. Slightly funky along with fruity flavors without being sweet. We had khachapuri as the first course. Perfect ratio of bread to the cheese filling. Big notes of rich and creamy umami. Very cozy dish. Second course was the traditional lamb khinkali - four massive dumplings per order. The meat had the typical blend of black pepper and onions that's frequently used in Eastern European / west Asian dumplings. Again big on umami. Dumplings were very juicy without being messy. Final course was the chicken tabaka. Sauce was similar to a garlicky Alfredo. A garlic lovers delight. Make sure to bring some breath mints for afterwords Chicken was roasted to a slight crispyness. It was very tender and juicy. Sauce was the star of the dish. They provided a couple slices of bread to mop up the sauce. As mentioned earlier, excellent service. Full bar with wine, beer, and liquor. House cocktail list and I think all the wines were sourced from Georgia. I believe there were two restrooms. The one I used was a single occupancy, gender neutral one. Atmosphere was informal yet tidy. Could dress up or dress down and neither would look out of place.

The Chakapuli was excellent and filled with tender pieces of lamb. Any of the grilled meats are fantastic so you can't go wrong there. Will be back to try more of the stews and entrees. Got a hummus and some brunch mains (hummus was to share but mostly for our toddler to get started during the wait). 30 min or so passed before they showed up with the hummus. I initially thought they decided to bring everything together so it took so long but no. Had to wait another 30 min for the mains. I had to ask for more bread since 1 hummus for 5 people was clearly not sufficient and taking 1 hour to deliver brunch food in an almost empty restaurant is beyond unreasonable. Took them another 40 min to get a piece of pita bread out, came after the 1-hour-wait mains. Manager came to apologize and said she will come back "to walk us through what happened and what they can comp". Okay... of course she never came back and the waiter took off a coffee and hummus off the bill. The two cheapest items. Not even the overpriced mocktails that are sugar water priced like an alcoholic drink and literally cost them nothing. Hummus I couldn't even eat because after 1 hour of waiting had to really entertain the toddler (who behaved perfectly until over 1 hour of sitting around in one spot starving). Really disappointing and concerning that the restaurant seems to be creating fake positive reviews that mislead customers about the actual quality.

Other than the noise level -- it's a popular place! -- Mother's Day dinner couldn't have been better. As we're known to do, we shared everything, sampling a little-of- this/a-little-of-that. There was a lot of food. We started off with an avocado salad of pears, pecans, red grapes, mixed greens and champagne dressing. A single order was more than enough for the three of us. We topped the greens with delicious fried calamari and cherry peppers. Then we dug into two chicken entrees -- parmesan and limone. I was particularly partial to the lemon chicken which was plated with roast potatoes and garlic sauteed spinach. There are leftovers of both, which I'm happy to have! But we're not done: linguini with white clam sauce. I'm not a pasta fanatic, but I loved Siena's which is made in-house. For dessert we split carrot cake -- I'd get it again -- and banana bread pudding which my husband favored. Considering their location, prices are pretty good. The wine list is affordable with us choosing a $42 bottle of Montpulciano. We'll surely be back to take advantage of their special deals. On Monday it's lobster and half-priced wine on Wednesdays.
