We had three HVAC companies come out to give us bids for a new AC unit, and we ended up choosing KAC Express. I honestly couldn't be happier with our decision! Jack came out, looked everything over, and was here maybe 10 minutes. There was no sales pitch or pressure--just a straightforward quote for a Trane unit. We appreciated the honesty and simplicity. The very next day, the installation crew arrived and had everything completed in about six hours. Later that afternoon, while I was cooking dinner, Trung (the owner) called and said he was outside. He wanted to personally inspect the installation before the job was considered finished. He thoroughly checked the crew's work, and you just don't see that level of customer service anymore. To top it off, KAC Express was less expensive than the other two companies that gave us estimates. Great price, quality equipment, fast installation, and outstanding customer service. If I could give KAC Express 10 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommend them. read more

KAC Express - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Spring, Texas

My air conditioning went out in the middle of the night, and I was able to reach Trung at 5:00 AM. To my surprise, he answered right away, gave me a timeframe for arrival, and showed up exactly when he said he would. Once on site, he quickly diagnosed the issue, took the time to explain what was wrong, and showed me exactly what needed to be fixed. What I appreciated most was his honesty and transparency. He didn't try to upsell me or take advantage of the situation, and the repair was completed quickly at a fair price. It's not often you find someone who is responsive, punctual, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. If you're looking for an HVAC company that genuinely cares about its customers, I highly recommend KAC Express and Trung. read more

I will never stop talking about KAC Express. Our AC went out on Saturday, and we had another company come out. Like usual, the window was 12-8, and they didn't come until 8:30pm... Said we had a leak and that they couldn't send someone out to fix it until Monday. Oh and that it would be between 11-13k to fix it. After being fed up with the Texas heat and our home being at 80, I sent in a form on KAC website around 9:30pm. Not expecting to hear anything until today (Sunday) but to my surprise Trung called us almost immediately and told us they'd send someone out the next morning at 8am! Trung called us at 7:30am Sunday to let us know they were on the way (INCREDIBLE!!) and they not only quoted us cheaper than the original company we had come out, but said they'd fix it TODAY. So happy I could cry!! They're here now fixing it, and Daniel, Manny and Sidro are the most kindest, and honest people. Not to mention Trung came over himself to say hi and see if we needed anything. You can tell KAC is here to help, not screw you over like other companies do. I am referring KAC to everyone! read more

AC went bout at 1am. I sent a Yelp message to KAC Express and had an immediate AI response which led to a 6:30am message asking to verify contact info and let me know a technician would be here between 8 and 10a. Jack was here a little after 8 and diagnosed my problem. He had the part with him and fixed my AC. He noted that my condensing coils really needed cleaning - I could do it or he could for a reasonable price. I asked him to do those also. Really fair pricing and done in under an hour. KAC Express is the best! read more

KAC really came through for me in a big way! My elderly mother lives hundreds of miles from me and her AC went out in 100° weather. I sent out quote requests in Yelp and KAC called straight away. They had a tech on the road to my mom's with in the hour. 2 hours later my they had repaired my mom's AC and had it blowing cold at a reasonable price. I can't thank KAC enough for coming to the rescue! Well done!! Thank you, Trung. read more

Guy were great to work with and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to my family and best friends!

Mr. Trung came out on a Saturday morning a few weeks ago to look at my system. He gave me a quote that day. Two weeks later, I called him on a Tuesday and said I was ready. He texted me back and said he could fit me in that afternoon if I wanted. I agreed and he had his crew there that afternoon for a new compressor and condenser. Mr. Trung had a good, solid price, great customer service, and an awesome crew. Everyone explained everything proudly and was very knowledgeable about their part of the project. I also wanted to add that, of the 10 companies I contacted, he was one of only 4 to show up for a quote and give us a solid price, but we chose Mr. Trung for his customer service and clear explanations and options. read more

Great response even early in the morning and get me in schedule with an efficiency unexpected... got it done within the same day ... definitely recommend read more

Trung was fantastic! My air-conditioning went out in the middle of the night. I left an email message a little after 4 AM. He returned my email at 4:33 AM. He arrived at my home a little after 8 AM and had diagnose the problem within 20 minutes and walked me through what needed to be done. The repairs were completed within a few hours. His team was professional, courteous, and most importantly very clean. I would highly recommend KAC Express to anyone with air-conditioning issues. The pricing was also very competitive and fair. read more

Great company! Jack was at my house a few hours after I called and scheduled repair. He diagnosed the problem right away and had my air conditioner back up and running within an hour. Was so satisfied I ended up signing up for the bi-annual maintenance package. Repairs were very reasonable. Fantastic experience! read more

Called this company when I moved into my house to give me a bid for replacement of the old ducts in my attic. The tech came out and looked at the a/c units and then the attic. After telling me about three times that I needed them to clean the A/C units, I asked him how much to do the ducting. He told me I would have to pay for the service on each a/c unit ($159 for the service and $120 for the cleaning EACH) before he would give me a quote. I'm sorry....WHAT?? Sadly, like a used car salesman, kept asking me what he needed to do to get me to sign off on doing both units THAT DAY. Then proceeded to tell me he wouldn't even be able to QUOTE the ducts if I didn't agree to do the cleaning. I thanked him and sent him on his way...and still had to pay the $69 service call charge. I considered it a bargain to get him to leave. I wouldn't call these guys...EVER AGAIN. read more

KAC Express replaced my entire HVAC system yesterday. The crew was excellent!!! They were quiet, clean, efficient, courteous, and any other good thing I can't think of right now. The final price was exactly what the estimate said it would be. This company gets my highest recommendation and I urge anyone who has the need to give them a call. I wish there were more stars to give them. read more

our AC stopped blowing cold air in the middle of the night. We called first thing in the morning and had a tech out to the house by 8 AM. He was able to get things back up and running in no time! Pricing was perfect and even less than our usually repair compan. Jack was also so kind to the kids! We will be using this company again for sure! read more

I'd give 6 stars if I could! Came to our house within an hour of messaging through Yelp, showed me exactly what he was looking at, listened to our concerns, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed the issue within a half hour (installed a new compressor). The price was very fair, and the technician was friendly and professional. This part deserves it own paragraph. Unlike other companies, did not try to sell me a new unit. I will absolutely be doing business with them in the future I give them my highest recommendation. read more

As with life's twists and turns one of our A/C units broke down and we needed a service call. KAC Express came up on Yelp and I was impressed with their reviews and happy customers. KAC deserves those reviews they were very prompt and most importantly to me they are honest. The repair tech took his time to explain everything to me and performed the repairs quickly with OEM parts. At a very reasonable fair price. No gouging or mystery markups. We will be using them in the fall for a full replacement of one of our Furnaces and AC units. The original unit is showing its age and has given many years of service. You can't go wrong with KAC Express. read more

Let me start you with the timing of response, it was immaculate, amazing fast, and updated communication as we went along through the process. Service was requested with available time and they were here two hours early. Jack the tech was an amazing, kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable person. Very truthful, honest, no pushing. just did the job right & very thoroughly. The value In some cases can be compatible or not depends on ones perception., I think it was good value for the job that was performed. I will definitely use them for future service request, and recommend them to every person I meet who are in need of such services. This was an exceptional service with no pushing sales tactics. Good value for the money as job w performed. I was blessed to have come across them in my time of need. Keep up the great work and honesty KAC express. Thank you so much. read more

Our first time doing business with Mr. Nguyen, and oh boy he didn't disappoint. Not only he got the job done on point with professionalism, but he also went extra miles to explain how to maintenance the system as well as some easy tricks to do it yourself on minor issues to save you some bucks and headaches. Highly recommended. read more

The last two days it dropped to 45 in the morning, so my wife wants to use the heater. But it wasn't turning on. I emailed KAC Express, assuming I would need to book an appointment sometime next week. Nope. Trung calls me immediately and says they are sending someone to my house. The young man that came was extremely professional, went above and beyond. Even took his shoes off entering my house without being asked lol. So polite. Got it all done in the attic and even advised me on some things I could do for preventative maintenance. This company has exceeded my expectations every single time I've had an AC or heater issue for the past 5 years. If they were a restaurant, KAC Express would have three Michelin stars. I cannot recommend them highly enough. This is a special company with incredible people. I've written only a handful of google and yelp reviews in my life, but two of them are for KAC Express. Now if only I knew a good plumber/doctor/lawyer/electrician then my family would be set for life. But at least we know we never have to worry about the AC/Heating stuff. read more

Messed around and tripped a fuse for my AC while i was weed-eating. Scrambled around looking for someone to fix the same day, even had a buddy come over to see if we could figure it out together. By the time all was said and done KAC Express ended up getting our business. They were responsive and were able to come out super quick even though it was after 9. Jack was the technician that came out. He was very professional and explained everything he would need to do. Job was done very quick but proficiently. Glad I reached out to them. We have worked with KAC for the last several years, and I couldn't recommend them enough! They replaced two of our AC units and were quick to diagnose our issues and quick to resolve. During Hurricane Beryl, my parent's house was impacted, and they again were efficient in their fixes and helped at a critical time for us. It is a pleasure working Trung, and supporting this local business! read more

KAC Express put in a completely new system a few years ago, including ductwork, which was so well insulated, it looked like they were installing space suits! The system was so efficient our electric bills went down and we were cooler than ever. However, Sunday night, we were not getting any air movement! I called Monday morning and they came out that afternoon!!! He looked at multiple things, including the air filter! That was the problem! Fortunately, we use good filters and keep some ready at the house. We just need to change them more often. Having a long hair Siberian cat in this 100 degree heat, who needs lots of combing and brushing means changing filters more often. I thought the cost of the service bisit would be more, to be honest. We were surprised. When we look at costs of things, we look at value, not cost. For example, about 10 years ago in another house, we had John Moore come out to look at a problem because they have "a free assessment". Their service guy said it was free ONLY if they do the service work, and he expected to get paid for his estimate! KAC Express has ALWAYS been above board! Their work ethic has ALWAYS been a step above! Thus why I FULLY RECOMMEND KAC Express to anyone needing HVAC service or a new system. I would be pleased to show anyone our space suit ductwork who wants to see the level of their work! Their work goes well beyond in customer service! read more

This company does business decently and in order. My old AC unit went out on Sunday and my new AC unit was installed the next day.

We needed to have the coils replaced on both AC units. KAC arrived within 1 hour of our call for visit. Following evaluation (which we had been monitoring with them for about 18 months), it was time for the repair to be completed. We could have had completed same day but because of scheduling on our part, did following day. All was perfect and professional by all involved from beginning to end! read more

Top notch and trustworthy company Here is the timeline: - called Friday morning and was advised a technician could be there between 3-5. - was recalled appx 1:30 and advised that the technician could be a little earlier, would that be ok? Confirmed the earlier time - technician arrived appx. 2:30 - appx 2:45 was advised what the issues were with our unit. 3:15 had an estimation. Told the technician I need to talk it over w/ my husband - 4 ish called the main number and let them know we wanted to move ahead with inputting the new unit. They could not verify that they could do it Saturday but would try. - 10am sat morning confirmed to get installed that day -12:15 arrival - New AC installed by 3pm In less than 24 hours we had a new unit. In this summer heat, all of us being cranky, and not having slept for a few days bc of our old unit not cooling, I can't thank this company/ man enough for his help. The price we got was economical, but more over, they were communicative, on time, professional and kind. Services that were provided are: - diagnostic - removal of old unit - installation of new AC unit and Coil. read more

My AC unit outside was not running, my cousin recommended KAC Express. She recently got a new unit installed by KAC Express last week. Trung came to my house on a Sunday morning and ran some diagnostic. It appears my capacitor went out. He replaced the capacitor and checked the entire unit to ensure it was working as properly. I am very pleased with the service provided. Trung was very professional and knowledgeable, I higher recommend this company for your AC needs. read more

Our AC had been fixed a few times and after 30 years of service (original to house) it finally required replacement. We had looked around, gotten several quotes, and they were all virtually within a few hundred dollars of each other. Since the price was within 'the range' we asked about service next, my cousin, who also used KAC, had a positive experience -- and had zero issues with his AC after it was installed, we decided to go with them. (After talking to several friends who used various companies did not have that experience at all!) They were incredible. Mr. Trung showed up the day before to get payment, and verify what they would be installing, and gave us a rundown of what to expect. They showed up the next day on time, tarps to keep the area clean, they installed the unit, and when they left the place was clean, and you barely knew they had been there. We had the unit installed mid-April along with a new thermostat, and a quick lesson on the thermostat. It's been perfect since (it's now early July). Our unit replacement was the full unit, both the AC/Heat. Our AC bill is slightly lower. I'd recommend this company to anyone installing a new AC. (Since we have 2 units, I will be using them for the second one). They were very professional, kept to the schedule and prompt, installation was done well - a trifecta that's hard to achieve in this industry. 5 stars hands down. *Update* 10-26-2022 We just had our 2nd unit replaced. (It still worked but was limping along, it was original to the house-as a transplant I was terrified it would stop working on the hottest day of summer) Again-incredible service. The installation guys are awesome and second to none. They arrived early, installed our second unit (both heat and AC) put down tarps, installed our thermostat, and were fast. I had asked about one of the bedrooms being too cold and ours being too warm and he fixed it instantly. I'm -once again- extremely happy with the service. Our old unit was loud and now it's quiet, cool, and wonderful. Thank you again KAC - won't use anyone else! read more

KAC Express installed my system in 2013-14 time frame. . My electric bill went down immediately. After which it worked great each year. Sadly, I recently noted it was struggling to keep the house cool. On Friday, it got pretty bad that evening. I sent a message and they came out the next day. My unit was leaking and the coil needed to be replaced. They added coolant so it would hold until Monday when they could get a new coil. They called back and said they were able to get the part and could do it the same day. They came back with 4 people and finished up the work in less than 3 hours. The house is back to nice and chilly. I am very pleased with the service. read more
