A/c wasn't cooling. Sent in request via Yelp. Response was immediate - received a phone call from Janet as soon as I submitted the request. Was able to schedule an appointment for 2 hrs later. Larry the technician came right on time for the appointment. He was very professional and explained everything clearly. Answered all my questions. Simple replacement of capacitor, which he had on hand. He checked freon levels as well. Recommended maintenance services for future consideration. Pricing was comparable to a previous capacitor replacement from 5 years prior. No diagnostic fee and no pressure. Would recommend for quick response and professional service. read more

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM!!! Quoted for outrageous price thinking we must not know anything about HVAC. Quoted $3800 for just a furnace replacement that is barely 5 yo. Back ordered a zone control circuit board and other parts but did not quote us yet saying the part company not working during weekend. I just recently replaced a new board for less than $500. Want to see how they would quote me for it. I encourage anyone that they either try to or did screw over to post negative reviews for everyone to see. When I got home last night, it was 84 in the house and my thermostat was set to 74. As NBL had installed my system and done a fantastic job I called and left a message, expecting to hear from them in the morning. 20 minutes later, I get a call back! I explain the problem and am told someone will be over between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Well this morning, I get a call around 7:30 am asking if I'm available to have someone come over within an hour. I said YES! An hour later, Tony arrived. He determined it was a bad capacitor. He checked everything quite thoroughly to make sure there were no other issues. It wasn't long and my house was cooling down! Tony was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable. As my system was still under warranty, this only cost $200, which was far less than I was expecting. Alberto was very knowledgeable and friendly. The AC unit is old and probably needs to be replaced, but he was more than happy to do the work we immediately needed to bring the unit back online in the meantime. If we replace the system we will consider hiring NBL first. read more

Great Fast Service...transparent pricing. Tech came out and replaced capacitor. Week later was having an issue and they sent tech back out on next day. Fan had to replaced but it was still covered under warranty so could have been worse. Very professional and I will continue to utilize (but i hope i don't have any more issues until next summer. read more

Our a/c went out and we called NBL a/c & heating. Our a/c only needed a fan motor. Nothing else. It took min to figure out what was wrong. They would not fix it then, I had to wait for their main office to contact us back with a total to come back and do the work. I called them after 3 hours and they gave me a total of over $750.00 so beyond a ridiculous amount. It is a 20 min job. And not a hard one. They should be ashamed. We called a real a/c repair company and had it fix for $300.00 Everyone do not trust this company. Get a second tech to lok at it. read more

I needed my AC unit to be disconnected and moved to fix my roof. I found out this in the afternoon from my HOA and the told it needed to be done by the very first thing in the morning 8am. I contacted several businesses but none of them had availability. Plus they were very expensive and they didn't offer any guarantees for their services. Finally I got in touch with NBL Air Conditioning and Heating. Alberto got in contact with me and he was very knowledgeable and explained how the service was going to be operated. He offered me to go to my stress for free to give a look to the unit and give a more accurate estimate of the cost. He got to my address on time and evaluated the unit and gave a very fair price. The next day in the morning Alberto and his team got to my house in time. And ready to do their job. They did and they left and we agreed for them to come back in the afternoon the same day. Unfortunately My HOA contacted me and said it was a misunderstanding on timing and roof people rescheduled the service. It took 3 days for my roof to be repaired. I needed to reschedule for my AC unit to be reconnected and I called Alberto and explained the situation. He was very nice and extremely reasonable about the situation and the fact that I didn't have control of it. He rescheduled the appointment for not extra fees. Even though he could have charged for it. Thank you very much Alberto and your team. And your company NBL Air Conditioning and Heating You guys are awesome. I would definitely recommend them. He listened to exactly what I knew the issue most likely was and diagnosed and repaired on the spot. He's my new lifetime AC repairman. Don't sleep on NBL! read more

About month ago or almost 2 months I was getting quotes and came across this company NBL. After hearing many quotes we decided NBL would be our best option. After bringing them to our house a second time things just didn't feel right (gut feeling) however, we went ahead and decided they won us over. On that second visit we did have more questions. We asked the Uriel ( Ariel can't remember his name) running our credit to apply for this loan would it affect us? His response was it was a HIM: Soft inquiry maybe 1 point but what does it mater 1 point 2 points you need the system. ME: I explained to him that it did matter I was trying to maintain my credit and I had plans to buy another house on my own. He then proceeded to play it off and laugh about it... Again my gut told me that's not a good sign he wasn't knowledgeable on his own company credit line or the credit line they work with. My opinion if this is his company or he makes a living from this company and trying to make a big sale he should know this things and be kind to how we feel about our credit. Credit is everything now and days. A day or 2 later we decided not to go with him just didn't feel right. My brother in law (other home owner) called and and gave him the news he then got upset (which I understand but don't take it out on us your a business you should expect this) he explained to us he already ran our credit everything is final that why are we backing out that he wasn't going to refund us the soft charge he charged to our new credit line he open then he started threatening us that he would shut our whole credit line WE ARENT ALLOWED TO GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY all this while using a very high tone with us and making threatening gesture to our credit account. He also said I had to stay with them. I called the credit line Synchrony and spoke with them and asked them if I had to continue with this company they assured I didn't and my credit line was open to anyone of my choice they also answered my question about it being a soft charge or hard charge to my credit line which at this point was too late but still good to know. Overall ill be fair I was somewhat satisfied with the quote they and the brand they used and honestly I still would have gone with them if Uriel didn't get loud with us and was honest up front but it's a business not all businesses win all the time. Also I was never rude I was always very cordial with them. Just in disbelief that he got upset with us the way he did really just bothered me! THE LIES CONTINUE... His response to my review is exactly why we pulled there were lies and lies and yelling and yelling... They did come off nice at first and helpful but once those credit questions started rolling in that's when the vibes changed. I never completely threw this company under the bus I stated in my review it was something we were going to go through with how his integrity was what made our decision when he told us what does it matter if our credit get 1 point or 2 points or if it's a hard inquiry or soft when he did tell us it was a soft then got mad cause we pulled. Trust me his feedback was a lie an unethical we never asked to go against his company policies we simply didn't like his integrity and tone towards us when we started asking questions about our credit and how it would effect us... My AC stopped working the night before so I decided to send a request to several companies on Yelp. NBL Air Conditioning and Heating replied to my request right away (within in minutes) and I scheduled an appointment with them. Alberto came to my house the next morning on time (actually a little bit early, that's impressive) and he was very courteous and friendly. Alberto was able to detect what was wrong with the AC unit and replaced the capacitor and I got my AC unit back up and running in literally in 10 min! Alberto also inspected my AC unit and it was all good! Their price was very reasonable and I was extremely happy about their service and I would use them again! Ariel had an incredibly quick response time. With in 5 minutes of requesting a quote he sent his number and was at my house in two hours(on a Sunday no doubt spending time with his family)WHAT A BLESSING! My ac is approaching the 20 year mark and the past 3 years I've been putting freon every summer and hadn't done it this summer. My mistake my house was sitting at 82 degrees today. When he came over he was incredibly friendly and gave me different options and pricing. His pricing was better than any other quote I got. By the time he left the temp had gone down 3 degrees. They attempted to sell me a brand new furnace for a couple thousand even though it was my AC that was down. When I declined that the Tech/Salesman left my house. I called another Service HTown AC and they fixed the issue within an hour for $200. There was no issue with the furnace. read more

Found this company here on Yelp. Provided a quote on the phone and received service to clean out dryer vent within two days! Service tech was very thorough in explaining the process. When finished he showed us pictures of his findings and even the amount of lint build up removed from the line. The best respectful thing he did was to leave the dryer area cleaner than he found it! We were not charged even a penny over the verbal quote!!! read more
