The food is really clean and fresh here! The only caveat is they close kind of early. I guess it makes sense since they're pretty much mostly a quick meal that has somewhat healthier ingredients. I got a shrimp tempura and the chicken. I would probably pass on the temporary next time and get a different protein. For some reason I was craving the crunch. Services quick and easy the place is spacious and located in a unassuming lot. I imagine they probably get a lot of crowds during the lunch. I would come back here and try two different proteins next time

I'm not gonna lie and say that I wasn't nervous about going here because there was nobody in the parking lot. And when I walked in, there was only two guys eating in there. So I was extremely nervous. Well, don't judge a book by its cover this place is amazing. The fact that this place is not jampacked with a bunch of customers confuses me beyond confuses me. It's great food. It's super fresh and delicious. I'd show you a picture of what I got, but unfortunately, I scarfed it down and didn't take a picture of it. So if you're in the area, I highly recommend that you go here and eat some sushi because it is super good.

We love this place - amazing fresh sushi. Service is very fast and efficient. We always order the nigiri and a couple rolls but the bowls and boxes look really good too.

Aloha All I stumbled on this place by accident. I normally go to the Subway next door and park on the other side, however that side was full and when I turned the corner to more parking spaces, I had no idea they added more restaurants, so today it's all about Kabuto Sushi and Grill I ordered the side of Miso Soup and the Shrimp Tempura Box. Let me tell you something, I didn't go in with any expectations, but the meal is priced fairly, and the service was great, after you place your order, they give you your receipt with your order #, they use that receipt to deliver your food to your table if you are dining in, which I was, I love that The Miso Soup was excellent, the Salad was excellent, the Rice was excellent, and the Shrimp Tempura was excellent, the food was flavorful and fresh, I was extremely happy about the meal, the only thing I didn't like was the steamed vegetables, there was no taste, like no seasoning or butter no salt or pepper to add to it, but everything else, just amazing If your in the area, please support them, you'll enjoy your meal and the service, I'm going back tomorrow to try something else on the menu. Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend Mahalo! A Hui Ho Malama Pono

Kabuto is such a hidden gem in Seal Beach, and I secretly want to gatekeep this spot! Located near a small center, Kabuto serves teriyaki bowls, rolls, and other sides at a decent price! Every time I get their dragon bowl with beef, chicken, and rice! It's a simple bowl with fresh and clean ingredients. They also advertise themselves as a gluten-free business! Their crunchy roll and nigiri are great, too! The fish tasted fresh, and overall, I have no complaints. Inside the restaurant, they have Japanese art and decorations, which I really enjoy, and there is plenty of seating. It's an ideal lunch spot; just be sure to check their hours, as they are not open on the weekends!

Almost no service and all plates are plastic but still asks for a tip when you pay. No go.

Food is always great. Can't ever go wrong with a dragon bowl. Perfect amount of meat and rice with a few edamame's.

Clean, bright atmosphere inside. No wait at 12:15 p.m. today. A group of 4 middle school boys sat behind our booth and did a similar thing, sharing their entrees and bantering in a lively hilarious manner. The staff was friendly and helped us choose a fourth item. Weekday lunch special is buy two and get a third item half off! We prdered the giant chicken katsu on curry rice, the Dawa chicken, the dduk bokki, and bibimpap with bulgogi. All of the dishes came out piping hot and perfectly made--so many sweet, salty, spicy flavors and plenty of textures to enjoy. I appreciated the plentiful cold water at the table to accompany this flavor-packed dining experience. We asked for seconds of the cucumber kimchi because it was also so good. My favorite was the bibimpap with bulgogi--sooo scrumptious. The giant flattened chicken katsu was impressed as promised. And we even had leftovers to take home! If you get a chance, highly recommend!!

Incredible. First time here and it did not disappoint! Will be back!!…read more We got the army Ramen and the Dawa chicken. The sauce on the chicken is nothing short of amazing, it satisfies the palette in an incredible way, and the Bonchon that accompanied it was extra good. That was my first time having pickled radish and I will now seek it out at other Korean establishments. The army Ramen was also good though they were a little stingy with the cheese. There was like half a slice on it. I want that thing nasty and oozing. We got seated right away and the hosts were very friendly. It's a pretty small place with roughly 10 tables. The noise level was a little loud. 10/10 would recommend

When we first got in they sat us at a two top and right away I need that table would be quite small for what I was planning to order, so we asked for a bigger table and they were kind enough to accommodate us. Ordering was quick as we new exactly what we wanted. We went with the all beef combo yakiniku. The guys were very organized and really worked well with each other. They immediately brought out our sides and dipping sauces and got the grill started for the coals to preheat. I knew that other table would be small as the charcoal grill took up the other half of a four top. I was surprised that they started cooking the meats for us, as I was prepared to do it myself. The experience was fantastic and the meats were very tasty. I really loved that the guys like tag team to check and cook the meats for us. The service was very smooth. Can't wait to take my wife next time for a nice dinner date for two.

Katsu and udon combo was so good but so much food haha. We originally thought it meant a side of udon NOODLES. Not a whole bowl of udon soup. We were shocked to say the least. But it was still so good. Got seated right away! And the service was very attentive. Place was nice and chill low lighting. One of the guys who I think is the owner was very nice and energetic talking to all the tables. He's probably one of the reasons why we will be coming back again! And to try the Gyu Katsu!

While curry is their specialty they have other items such as udon, teriyaki, and donburi bowls as well as a few typical appetizers such as tempura and karaage. The restaurant is not very big but has a fair amount of tables. Its style has a mix of modern and traditional Japanese elements with lofi music playing in the background. We were given a friendly welcome upon entering and the service was great. We started with the mixed tempura which was light and crispy - a perfect starter that won't fill you up. For dinner we tried the beef curry and chicken katsu curry. Both were delicious. I had the chicken katsu. I really liked the breading as it was light and crispy - not too thick or greasy. The sauce was also rich and flavorful. I made it a combo which includes miso soup and a salad of choice. I selected the cucumber salad which was a little sweet but refreshing with the meal. I hope to try their donburi next.

Food didn't take that long but I like that there was a wait because I know it'll be freshly made. When I walked into the restaurant to pick up my order, inside was cozy and I noticed that it was pretty busy for a late Tuesday lunch. A really nice young woman who rang me up and handed me my bag of goods. When I got home, I was pleased to see that they had separated the Katsu from the curry sauce, so my meat didn't end up being soggy. Their curry sauce is different from most curry houses. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. Very happy with the presentation and the flavour. We'll try to visit and eat at the restaurant next time. Parking lot is small and can get a little crowded with all the other businesses open. But there is also street parking available. Also, because it's a Japanese restaurant, they are not open on Mondays.
