Picked up some appetizers for a snack. The samosas were crispy, light, and very flavorful with a little bite. The paneer pakora were delicious. As usual, Sam and Yusef were extremely friendly. If you have not tried Kababish I highly recommend it. read more

My wife and I have been here twice in the last week, and we are amazed with the subtle use of spices and flavorings in every dish. Unlike many restaurants in the area, nothing is over-spiced with pepper, and that makes it much easier to experience the chef's unique artistry. The owners are on site each day to make sure the quality of the tea, the lassi drinks, and most importantly, the main dishes are top notch. Perhaps because I spent some time trying Pakistani restaurants in the past, I am particularly drawn towards this approach to cuisine. Basmati with a splash of saffron, unique fusions of appetizers, and an overall attractive but unpretentious atmosphere will make this a regular lunch-time destination for us. read more

I was blown away by the taste and flavors I experienced here. I have the chicken 65, rice, and garlic naan. I want more now even though I just left. It's the best of its kind I've came across here in Cary. read more

Totally blew my mind. I got the vegetarian lunch special and the flavors were just unreal. I have never had Pakistani food before but now I can say I prefer it over American style Indian food for sure. Similar but distinctly different. Great find and it is also BYOB with no fee which is just a great added bonus. read more

First visit. Won't be the last. Interesting fusion of Mediterranean and Indian/Pakistani. Yellow Dal was excellent. Popadum fresh and clearly home made. Other dishes were delightful. Good location right in downtown Cary. read more

This has become my favorite place in Cary. You can sit outside on a beautiful evening or inside this sweet authentic restaurant. If outside, you can have your best friend accompany you. My well behaved dog sits quietly. You can also bring your own wine, they provide the wine glasses. The food is SOOO good especially the shrimp appetizer. Everything is delicious!! You can have it prepared mild, medium, hot or "Indian" hot. They have a very extensive menu. I've been there at least 6 times and each time the owners stop by the table, lovely people!! This place is a gem. You will do a double take when you get your check, the prices are very reasonable. read more

So delicious and absolutely lovely owners/staff. We had the biryani chicken with paneer and the bullet naan. Perfect spiciness. Also! You can bring your own beer or wine and they don't charge a corking fee. read more

This the 3rd time i am visiting this place. I had very good experience all the time with food and service. The restaurant is in a good location as well. Previous visits we had Kabob platter and lunch special which was really good. But today we got a take out of Chicken Biriyani, Naan and Chilli Chicken. Biriyani was delicious and tasty. But the Chili Chicken was horrible. It was like tandoori chicken inside a honey syrup. May be the chef added the sugar twice by mistake. Whatever it was bad experience. I will surely come back for kabobs and Biriyani. read more

This place is really great! We've been there twice and have not had a bad item. I'll try anything they will put in front of me. A real gem in the middle of Cary. The staff and owners couldn't be nicer. Please go there it'll be worth it. Oh my the onion pakora, seekh kabab, and daal fry!! So tasty. read more

Family, friends and I have been to Kababish many times! Always amazing. Always as spicy as I like it (not many places believe me that I want my food super spicy!). I like how the lunch menu has been expanded creatively over the past year - something for everyone in a group! Sam and Syed and staff are super friendly. And, Kababish catered a neighborhood gathering for 30 that I had last night and they outdid themselves. Guests seemed very pleased with the plentiful and delicious samosas, grilled meats, naan, onion pakoras and various sauces!! read more

Absolutely amazing. Staff was sooo accommodating of dietary issues and food was beyond amazing. This is my new favorite place. Service was 5 star as well!! Great menu. So flavorful and nourishing !! read more

I am 1/8 Lebanese and growing up my mom and grandmother constantly made amazing Mediterranean dishes. I have had hummus from several places throughout my adult life, and the hummus they make at Kababish tastes identical to what I ate growing up!! Every bite just takes me back to my childhood! Everything is so authentic and tastes AMAZING. I work nearby and it's always great getting Kababish for lunch! Not only is the food just absolutely mouth-watering, the owners are very down to earth, super friendly, accommodating, kind and just genuinely the epitome of over the top amazing customer service! You can't help but to feel welcome when you walk in the door and are greeted by their smiling faces and delicious aroma! Today I even got to try their Mango Mousse-oh boy was that a treat that I will definitely be back for!! Keep up the comfort food!!! read more

Worst experience in a restaurant in my lifetime!!!!!!!!!! A group of 12 German ladies out for a meal and drinks. We were asked to leave at 9pm and weren't allowed to finish our drinks. Waiters were extremely rude. Will never step foot in this establishment again. Spread the word! read more

Stopped at Kababish on Christmas Eve after church. Even though the kitchen had just closed, we were welcomed in. We had hummus with naan (great flavor, nice char on the naan), a lamb kabob entree and chicken kabob entree. Portions were generous, flavors tasty, you can ask for more or less heat (at least on ours we could). The lamb and chicken were both incredible tender (didn't even need a knife). Service was attentive. We will be back! read more

Love this cafe! Delicious food and great service. Wish I lived closer so that I could come often.

This Cafe is an official "desi" eatery. Coming from New York as a transplant, my wife and I found it very difficult to find a restaurant that serves delicious, authentic, Pakistani/Indian cuisine. This place is as authentic as it gets and rivals some of the best restaurants in NYC. The food is super delicious and tasty. Everything on the menu can be made to your taste and desire. The staff is very friendly and the service is impecable. I can't believe anyone would give this cafe anything less than 4 stars. Anyone looking for a great, cozy eatery with wonderful service and food, must check out Kababish! read more

Terrible service. Had a girl serve us and she was down right rude. Food wasn't worth the money and they charged us 18% tip for 4 people which is unheard of. Surprised at the good reviews, won't be going back here for sure. read more

Stopped by on a whim and am glad I did. Amazingly fresh food, good service and great owners. The mint/cilantro dipping sauce with lentil flat bread was the best part of the meal. The hummus was fresh and flavorful, but the black olives served with it were rather flavorless. Tiki masala was great and served with perfectly prepared rice. There is limited outdoor seating, the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was competent. Looking forward to going back. read more

Excellent food! Excellent service! Definitely try out the kebabs and falooda. The kadahi chicken and kadahi paneer have authentic flavors ( no heavy cream). Lamb biryani is their specialty so check that out. read more

Everything was DELICIOUS, and the staff was very nice! I took my daughter (vegetarian) and son (8 yr. old/picky eater) and there were lots of good choices for both of them. We tried the Malai Kofta, Malai Chicken, Chana Masala, and the Meat Sampler. BTW-the basmati rice is some of the best I've EVER had! We will be going back soon! read more

The food was amazing! Nice downtown Cary location. Wait staff were very friendly and patient with our questions. I will definitely be back! read more

Kababish Cafe - Pakistani Near Me - Cary, North Carolina

For the longest time there has been a lack of an exceptional Pakistani food place in the triangle area. We have been to almost every place hoping something would remind us of back home. Just this past week I went there with my family, now keeping in mind I know how Pakistani food should taste like, it surely met our expectation. Chef Yousuf and Samreen are running this place with 100% dedication which is shown in the exceptional tasting food, warm ambiance in the restaurant and hygiene and quality in their dishes. The kababs are really amazing and surely left us wanting to go there again. The nan and the sweets compliment the food beautifully as well. And the serving size is great for people who want to fill themselves up without spending a lot. Kababish Cafe is surely our go to place now! read more

This is by far the best Indian food that I have eaten. I had to eat here a few times before I pass my judgement. The food came out hot and cooked to perfection. I think this restaurant is a hidden gem. The workers are very friendly. There is enough parking. read more

We ate there for the first time last night. We had no idea what to order, so we had an order of skewered ground lamb and one of skewered veggies. Absolutely loved them. Early on they serve the Pakistani equivalent of chips and salsa. The deep fried VERY thin flat bread came with small dishes of sauce. Umm. Gave us extra servings of the sauce with dinner. The veggies had the smoked flavor of open grill cooking. We plan on going back often enough to get acquainted with their food. Dinner cost: $20 plus tip. The service was most friendly and attentive. But don't go there if you're looking for an intimate decor. read more

Absolutely amazing place. Fantastic service, even with a huge group they were beyond accommodating. Chicken was cooked just right, moist and perfectly seasoned. They told us they make their own yogurt for the lassi! My GPS had the location, slightly wrong, but don't let the deter you from a fantastic experience. read more

Amazing food and terrific, friendly service! What more can you ask for? We had the lamb dish and it was enough to share. Plus you can bring in your own wine! What an amazing place to dine. Love it. read more

Definitely ahead in time and Cary... And they let you BYOB! Great food and excellent service.

The BEST Pakastani/Indian restaurant I've ever been to. The Chaat Papdi is a wonderfully flavorful but light appetizer. I highly recommend the Tandoori Platter for your first visit to get a sampling of all the mouth-watering flavors. And I've always found the mark of any good Indian restaurant is the quality of their Naan. The Naan at Kababish is top notch. Light and buttery with that perfect amount of char. Atmosphere is great for a family gathering or a romantic night out. The staff is warm, friendly, and attentive. Really everything you could want in a restaurant. Take your friends while this place is still a bit of a secret. It won't stay a secret for long. read more

Kababish is amazing! The owners are wonderful, the food is incredible and fresh, and the atmosphere is fantastic! I ordered lamb kabob and hummus. The lamb was some of the most tender lamb I've ever had, and the hummus was very refreshing. The mango lassi is definitely worth purchasing as well. I would recommend this restaurant, and will be going back soon! read more

This is an excellent Indian/Pakistani restaurant that put a unique twist on traditional recipes while keeping the ingredients healthy and nutritious. We had Karahi lamb, which is a wonderful Pakistani dish cooked in a wok-like pan with ginger, tomatoes and spices. We had two Indian dishes, chicken Tikka Masala and spinach Saag. Both were flavorful and spiced perfectly. The Saag was more like a traditional Indian dish, while the chicken was the chef's deliciously unique twist with a nice blend of spice and sweetness. Service was excellent and the entire experience felt very authentic. We will definitely be back - soon. read more

We are Pakistanis so we enjoy authentic Pakistani dishes. On Friday we went to this Pakistani restaurant, Kababish Cafe for dinner. The staff was friendly and courteous. We ordered garden platter mixed appetizers which were very good and sufficient for a party of 4. For dinner we had chicken biryani, chicken karahi, haleem, chicken seekh kababs, bagar-e-baigan, naans and raita. All dishes were cooked properly and tasted good except chicken biryani, seekh kababs and raita. Biryani did not seem to be freshly prepared as it was just warm and lacked aroma. The tasted was ok. The seekh kababs were disaster! I have never had worst kababs than these in any restaurant even in Indian restaurants. Seekh kababs are cooked on skewers in the tandoor (clay oven), however, there were no skewers holes in these lumps. They also did not smell and taste like authentic seekh kababs. I complained to the owner/chef and he provided some explanation that they don't skewers and just grilled these. Seekh means skewers and if they don't use skewers then they should not call them seekh kababs. very disappointing! The raita was terrible! They apparently mixed yogurt with sweet tamarind sauce. The service was very good that's the reason for my higher rating. Other wise it was an average experience with a higher price tag. read more

What an incredible restaurant! Walking in, it was welcoming and everyone was so friendly. My girlfriend ordered the chicken korma, I got chicken tiki kabob and we got some hummus as an appetizer, it was FANTASTIC! They had a woman playing live piano inside and she did a wonderful job as well! On our way out one of the owners, Sam, chased us down and thanked us for coming in, and in conversation I found that her husband is actually the cook, and tonight was the restaurant's 3rd anniversary! We will definitely be back, and I suggest you give Kababish a try for some seriously delicious grub!!!!! read more

Absolutely loved the food. Had recently catered food for 140 people . Every thing from appetizers, salad ,main courses and dessert was delicious and perfect . Really helped to make our event . read more

My family has been here twice and both times have enjoyed their food. Service is great, staff friendly and food portions are really good for the price. My wife loves the hummus and Papdi chaat. I thought the lamb biryani was awesome but a bit spicy. My daughter thought the same of the chicken biryani. We will come back for sure. read more

This was not a good meal for us. Service was extremely slow - from getting water through getting the check. The food was just so-so for me, but my partners meal wasn't good at all. Other patrons were getting flustered because they weren't getting good service either. The naan bread was the best part, but they charge extra for it. And we paid $8 more at Kababish for the same meals we typically get at our favorite Indian restaurant that's near US 1. read more

Not as good as the reviews lead you to believe. They always mess up your takeout orders and blame their busy-ness for it; that's not a good enough excuse! The only thing they make well are the seekh kebabs. read more

I came to visit my sister from Maryland and she talked to me about this restaurant that they have the best Chat Pappari and chicken wings we planned to go there tonight and the restaurant was pretty packed because of the EID. Surprisingly we got seated so quickly and the server came to our table and offered us water right away. we Started with Chat Pappari and Chicken wings for appetizer and Chicken Karahi for the dinner. They were short of staff but they didn't make us feel anything like that, until we started talking to the manager of the restaurant at the end of our dinner. She told us that i am also working with other servers because somebody called out and they couldn't get anyone to work, so they are on the floor and taking orders and checking on every table if anyone needs anything. I think it was very nice of them and thats called the best customer services and no doubt the delicious food and Fresh chicken wings not frozen lol Two things you look for in every restaurant 1 is Service and 2 is food you will get both there and more will come I highly recommend everybody to go there and pick any food you like and guarantee you guys will enjoy the taste of their food read more

For fresh food and a large menu that is Gluten Free for those of us that have no choice in the matter, this is the place to eat. Super friendly staff and owners. Great prices. read more

Although uncertain at first, all was forgotten once we tasted the food! The rice went really well with the perfectly seasoned kabobs, and the salad on the side wasn't for show either. Sauces added different nuances to the taste throughout the meal and the portions were more than enough to leave us satisfied. Definitely would recommend to anyone who would rather enjoy a blend of flavors as opposed the usual spicy dominated cuisine of other restaurants! read more

This is an amazing dining experience in downtown Cary. The best Mediterranean restaurant I have ever experienced, hands down. I have ordered the non-vegetarian meal each time I visited and all the chicken and lamb dishes are so flavorful and fragrant. One of my favorites is the chaat papdi (a chickpea salad), which is served as an appetizer. Their chicken kabobs, especially the chicken bahari is a winner. The owners are the most wonderful loving couple who go out of their way to welcome you and make sure you are pleased. An added bonus is that you can bring your own beer and wine. Lovely restaurant with outstanding food. read more
