Trout
Daniella E.

YUM! Everything was well seasoned! The food is amazing for a great price. I had the beef shish kebab and chicken Lula plate with yogurt, cucumber dip, and tabouli... my friend had the grilled trout. We both LOVED the quality of food and how casual this place is. Large portions, we took half our food to go and ate the rest for dinner. We both had plenty of food for $45! That's a good deal! The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly.

The food here is excellent. I ordered the beef lula kabob plate, and it was delicious and fresh. Totally worth the drive to Glendale, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for great mediterranean cuisine!

Combo Platter - beef shish and chicken shish. Best $21 you will ever spend.

Food is so tasty. Drove an hour to get here and I'll gladly do it any day of the week. Staff is incredibly nice. They also have complimentary water. Plenty of parking as well. I'm drooling just thinking about this place. They also have outdoor dining which makes it a nice little lunch or dinner spot when the weather is nice.

Not terrible, but not the greatest. I've had my fair share of Med food and I thought Kabab Way was just A-OK. The chicken kabab plate was simple with no frills or extras. It comes with a scoop of salad, pita, and a grilled tomato with raw onions. There were a handful of people working and the woman who took our order did not have the friendliest demeanor. 3 stars. Just average in my opinion.

I've been on Kabab trip for a few months and this has been my favorite! Flavorful humus, tabouleh is delicious and fresh. Good meat and soft pita bread. Will definitely return!

You will not be disappointed . With all the competition in Glendale this is the GO TO SPOT in my opinion. Food is delicious and the price is amazing. Service was on point easy as 123. This place is very clean and with the AC blowing this is the perfect spot to eat good food and wind down.

Food:  Good Portions: Large Price: fair price Service: Not much Atmosphere: Simple The food is great and very tasty, i really like the long rice. I ordered the shish kabob, the steak was tasty, but it was a little bit chewy. But overall, it's still a taste quite good. Ask for services, it was my first time in this restaurant. I thought it was a dine in restaurant where you get a waiter or waitress to serve you, so I went in and asked for table for 1, the lady at the counter gave me a weird look. She did not tell me.I have to order first and then take a seat like a fast food restaurant. Make me look really weird. I was in Glendale shopping. Had a craving for some mediterranean food. I had not had it for a long time. Just searched google map for the closest location. I just wish the service was a little better.

First time at Kabab Way. Prices are fair for the amount of food. Sultani and luleh kabobs were flavorful and juicy. Also ordered the yogurt and cucumber, which was delicious. Hummus was tasty and a nice addition to the pita. Don't forget to ask for sumac and garlic! The boneless trout was just OK. Didn't look like the picture so wasn't what I expected. Could have used more seasoning.

This is some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Service: Food came quickly and gave us extra pita bread Ambiance: It feels like your classic mom and pops shop, cozy and warm Will definitely come back

Quality and affordable Mediterranean food. They give you a good amount of food, unlike a lot of medi places in Glendale.

Rude staff, took forever, everyone in the kitchen was shouting at the top of their lungs. Literally go anywhere else for your kebabs.

And all their appetizers and main dishes are great. The restaurant has a lot of energy usually, and friendly guests made up of locals. Sometimes the parking is tough if the lot and block is full, but I've never had an issue finding a spot somewhere and it's worth it. Highly recommended if you're especially in the mood for good and authentic Lebanese cuisine.

I hunted a bit before tracking down a spot and paying the meter. I have not been to Dune before, but the value of the lunch special along with the promise of a fried chicken shawarma, coupled with unexpected free time, sounded like a promising moment to stop by. Walked up to the window and after no acknowledgement, I peaked inside the door and asked whether I place an order at the counter or wait to be seated. When I tell you the jarring elder Gen Z stare and incredibly unfriendly direction to sit on the bench and wait my turn (in the literal sense that I was told to sit on the bench and wait my turn. There was only a party of 2 seated at the bench and no line to speak of) made me regret coming out to eat entirely. I'm not lying when I say I thought about leaving immediately and driving home in my air conditioned car instead of sitting on a hot bench in nearly 100 degree weather with no acknowledgement of party size, no offer for a drink or water while I wait, and just existing in my bizarre humiliation ritual for having asked what the procedure is here for any kind of recognition of my interest in dining or simply existing. And yes, after sitting down I saw there is a small low contrast sign on a post stating to sit on the bench and wait, but it is positioned parallel to the counter window and only when turning away from the glass toward the seating area was it placed in a way that I would see it. Not very useful for someone who is walking up or down the sidewalk as it's not visible. I held my breath for about 10 minutes before being asked my party size (one) and seated at a shaded table. I regretted my choice to dine out the entire wait time for the table, while ordering and then being required to pay upfront before my meal was even presented to me, while seated awaiting my order, while my food (loaded fries, fried chicken shawarma, date shake and an added unsweetened iced green mint tea) was dumped at once on the table in front of me, while eating feeling humiliated for existing inside human skin, and again when having to walk to the window and ask for a to-go box. I felt like a massive inconvenience for the staff and fully regretted bothering them every step of the way for normal things like a Dine LA menu which was not initially offered, adding an iced tea to my order, existing in a metal folding chair and generally taking up space. I don't like being treated like a turd by people, and certainly don't want to be treated this way when I'm paying for a service. But after the initial flubbed interactions, demanding payment with tip upfront before receiving any kind of service was rendered, and then dumping my food at the table without ceremony, it's truly no wonder why the LA restaurant scene is dying. Between poorly trained staff, rising costs in rent and utilities, the outrageous cost of staffing and the fact that eating at a restaurant is completely unnecessary when cutting household expenses, restaurants are disappearing left and right. Some of the foods I still dream about are lost forever to closure after closure. Customers being treated like they're inconsequential isn't the only reason people like me usually choose to dine at home, and it's not the only reason restaurants are disappearing. But it's one of the only controllable elements in a world of runaway hospitality expenses. Customers deserve even a modicum of respect if restaurants are going to survive. $48 for the meal including tax and tip. More than enough food for lunch, I took home half. Loaded steak fries / wish they were served with a whipped feta or dipping sauce instead of ketchup but they're good. Generous portion of steak. 9/10 Fried chicken shawarma / fun idea, execution made it difficult to pick up to eat. Serving in a metal basket made it impossible to cut in half since there was not a solid surface to cut against. Flavor is yummy, wish those middle eastern flavors were more prominent in the batter but the chicken is extra crispy. Enjoyable. 8/10 Date shake / luxurious, creamy, flavorful. No notes. 10/10 Unsweetened green mint iced tea / overpriced, underdelivered. I'd skip it unless you're parched. 5/10 **written without the assistance of AI**

But it is without question the most important Armenian restaurant in the world. Armenians are simultaneously a diaspora people, a people of the book, and an old country people. Therefore, odd as it may seem, it is entirely appropriate that the most important Armenian restaurant in the world should not be located in Armenia at all, but should serve a diaspora community in a way that makes them feel connected to home, both interns of cuisine and in terms of communal warmth. Technically, this is more of a Lebanese restaurant than an Armenian restaurant, but that hardly matters. It's a place of celebration, merriment, laughter, and tears. In short, it is THE gathering place for Armenians in Southern California. Because of its fame and importance, the thing that is consistently overlooked about this restaurant is just how excellent the food is. Bring a Lebanese expat here and you will invariably hear them say after the first bite of hummus that it doesn't compare to the hummus they used to enjoy in Beirut.
