Located in Hana World is what may be the best Korean food we've had in Austin so far…read more Unfortunately, since Hana World is closing we decided to stop by and check it out one last time. Parking is easy to find and this stall is in the food court just past Ramen Del Barrio. Somehow we hadn't eaten at Hana Yoree before, but we wish we had. It is very much a food stall but has such a homey feeling to it. Ordering is very easy and they have a pretty diverse menu for such a small food court. Just a heads up, it's cash only so be prepped for that when you stop by. We got a good amount of food including their spicy beef soup, homemade noodle soup, Korean scallion pancake, bulgogi, and fried dumplings. Every dish was good with the homemade noodle soup being a true standout. The homemade noodle soup has a sweet broth and chewy noodles wrapped up into one delicious comfort dish we wish we could have every cold night. The spicy beef soup popped with flavor. The beef tender and the spice not being so much that it took away from the rest of it. The scallion pancakes were unexpectedly seafood based which threw us off a bit but was still decent nonetheless. Their bulgogi was absolutely mouth watering. Juicy and packed with flavor, we could've eaten pounds of it. And lastly, the fried dumplings were good. Pretty tiny but still very yummy. The whole meal was great and it felt like such a loving and home cooked meal for us to have eaten in the middle of a food court. With Hana Worlds closing, Hana Yoree doesn't know what's next as they don't have any set plans but we very much do hope they are able to make it because this is a spot deserving of its own storefront and we would love to come back and eat again.

Yoree Korean Restaurant in Austin, TX (5/5 stars)…read more Yoree is tucked inside Hana World Market, right next to Ramen Del Barrio, and it's an absolute gem. Before we even walked in, my boyfriend and I had a good feeling about the place, we saw a big group of ajummas and ajussies heading in to eat, and if there's one thing my Korean boyfriend has taught me, it's to always notice who else is eating at a restaurant. If the locals love it, it's going to be good, and Yoree definitely proved that true. We ordered the bibimbap, which came out as a huge portion. Everything was extremely fresh, flavorful, and filling, it really hit the spot. We also tried the tteokbokki, and it was hands-down a 5 out of 5. My boyfriend said it tasted exactly like his childhood, completely authentic and exactly how it should be. We're already excited to go back and try more, especially their stews once the weather cools down. Yorei is officially our go-to spot whenever we're craving Korean food in Austin

The costilla ones weren't bad either but the pastor was the clear winner between the two. I ordered the carnitas tonkotsu ramen and had no complaints here. Carnitas were tender, ramen was the perfect texture, and broth was delicious. S/O had the chilaquiles-men with green sauce and he loved it. Note: this is a DRY noodle dish AKA no broth. Can't wait to visit again when they reopen their restaurant!

Somehow, against all odds, Ramen Del Barrio still exceeds its reputation. There's only one vegan ramen option but it's all you need, both in terms of portion size and flavor. I've never had anything quite like the mole tsukemen, a Tex-Mex mashup pairing rich mole broth served separately from handmade noodles so thick, you might mistake them for udon at a glance. Simple toppings of fried tortilla strips, avocado, charred jalapeno, and caramelized onions adorn the top. Before this moment, I thought I just wasn't a fan of mole. It turns out, I had never tried great mole before. This stuff dazzles with layered spices, melded so well that I can't pick a single one out from the pack. It's not overwhelmingly hot, but definitely leaves your lips tingling. I'm glad I finally got there before they close up shop at their current location in Hana World Market on December 21st, and even happier to know that their new brick-and-mortar isn't too far behind. I'll be there as soon as the doors open!

I spend a great deal of time at The Domain. I asked myself why while I was back at the Domain…read moreagain today. The Domain is now a sought-after destination - where shopping (casual and high-end), dining, night life and other fun experiences converge. You can go shopping, meet a friend for happy hour, or do something completely fun and adventurous in the course of the day or evening. One of my Finance groups hosts a monthly Finance meeting at The Domain. Shopping...some of my favorite fun stores are at the Domain such as J. Crew and Anthropologie. I love these two stores because they have unique goods at great prices, in general, and specifically, have amazing sales. If you are a big baller, you can shop at stores like Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Tiffany's and whole host of other high stores. I'm a tiny baller. Smile. Dining - At the Domain you can get reasonably priced foods to high end fare. Some of my favorite places to dine in the Domain include Glorias, Flower Child, Paul Martin's and Haywire. Important to note, most restaurants have great happy hours and associated amazing prices. Nightlife - Some say that The Domain (especially on Rock Rose Avenue) is the new 6th Street (known for its bars and Live music). I would not venture out that far. However, if you want to party in the wee hours of the night, you can do it at The Domain. Fun Experiences - You can transport yourself to fun such as IPIC movie theatre, Museum of Illusion or the Battle of the Games. Last weekend I discovered the Barkin Creek Dog Kitchen & Bath...so, The Domain is not only for humans. Love The Domain...I am sure I will see you there!

A lot of the retail staff are friendly and there seems to be stuff going on during the holidays, so definitely check it out. Also, lots of parking garages.

So I came here with my sister after she had been raving about it, and it was DEFINITELY worth all…read moreof her hype!! First of all, this location was so cute and clean, also the customer service was great!! For my meal, I got the Kpop chicken bowl and I added the braised korean bbq pork to it!! Both proteins were seasoned to PERFECTION!!! The braised pork was so tender, and the kpop chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. All of the vegetables were crunchy, fresh, and delicious! Their sauces are insanely good as well! I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I got the Carrot Ginger Dressing, Magic Sauce, Sriracha, , and Spicy Ranch. They were all FANTASTIC!! The Ginger dressing was my fave because it reminded me of the ginger sauce you get at hibachi resturaunts. Such a treat!! Oh and also, we got the Queso and Guac, which were again, SO GOOD!!! The queso had the perfect amount of spice to it!! I absolutely loved every part of this meal!!Honestly, the only complaint I have is that they don't have a Dallas location :( . Hopefully they'll make it to the DFW area sooner than later because I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!! 1000000/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
