I highly recommend for dog lovers. The kitchen was great & the staff was even better!! The place is very spacious and has multiple areas for dogs to run around! I got a couple of their specialty cocktails and their new jell-o shots and they were fantastic! I highly recommend for people who love their dogs and want a nice, fun spot to relax at! They also host events on the weekends and I was told that they are hosting more very soon! I went to the adoption event that they had and the market & both were phenomenal. We are very happy to have K9 Garden open in place of the old Bar K. It is a different sign in and membership system but overall still the same as when Bar K closed. We're hoping they make some updates as it starts to get warmer and more people get to know that this place is open again. The app lets you check in one dog ahead of time and then we have to add the other dog when we go in the door. They have a Hawaiian place as well as a panini place inside along with the full bar. When we went this past week they opened the outside bar. It would be really great if they had a speaker system and music or something, it's kind of quiet and awkward more than I remember at Bar k, but that's a friendly suggestion :) overall; thankful our dogs have their social lives back! read more

K9 Garden has done an amazing job!! My pup is so happy to have such a huge off leash place to play again. And the food?!?!! Damnnn.... Go eat some for real. The Hawaiian food is legit and the burger is a contender. It pains me to see negative reviews from people that are upset some of the rules cater to dogs and not their individual personal situation. As a dog dad I actually quite prefer it that way and appreciate the things this organization as done with the best interest of all the dogs and their safety in mind. I wish people would give a new business the respect they deserve for the hard work they put in and the amazing product it resulted in. My pup is a big dude, and there's nothing he loves more than to play at the park. So naturally he is extremely excited to get there and even more so it get IN. Their new check in process is amazing. Members can check-in in advance and then they recognize your dogs picture and let you in. The apps a little clunky, obviously there's gonna be some growing pains but that upgrade alone has made my experience significantly better and my dog happier. I can get him in without any hassle and he doesn't have to wait for a long time at all. And seriously if you don't eat some of the food you are missing out. Two bad ass food trucks launching a brick and mortar is my love language. Kanoa's Hawaiian is so good it makes me suggest the park to the dog. Overall such a great improvement. I've been coming here since the Bar K days, and now with the reopening as K9 Garden, and I honestly feel like I need to share my experience. First, the staff has been amazing. Every time me and Zuko come in, we're greeted with warmth and kindness. The dog tenders are constantly walking the park and staying aware of what's going on. From what I've seen, they've been very attentive. As far as the "kid friendly" conversation -- I'm not saying they aren't kid friendly. But at the end of the day, this is a dog park. Kids in a dog park can be tricky, especially if they're running around or not directly supervised. Dogs can be great with other dogs but timid or unsure around people, especially children. Kids can't always read dog body language the way adults can. That doesn't make the park bad -- it just means supervision matters. I've personally only seen one dog fight since the reopening, and it wasn't severe. The staff responded immediately and handled it well while still staying aware of the other dogs in the park. I look at any dog park like daycare -- accidents can happen. Dogs have different personalities, different histories, and different comfort levels. That's just reality. So far, K9 Garden has been doing a great job. Me and Zuko come often and we genuinely enjoy it. read more

Since being back since Bar K closed it is pretty much the same. The staff was nice and helpful with checking in. I do believe the checking in process is a little tedious as the app does not work very well. I also wished they had dog friendly food available like Bar K did but I didn't see anything when I went. I like the dog tenders helping for dogs that were overwhelming others to enforce boundaries and safe play. Overall it was nice but not much of a change. So much fun! Our dogs LOVED it! Some of the staff (dog tenders) were a little like 16 year old lifeguards who can't handle being a nice authoritarian and instead feel like they need to be a douche-bag -authoritarian. Like...I get it...they need to keep the dogs in line to avoid fights - but ya don't need to be a soulless cyborg. But the vast majority of the staff were FAN-FLIPPIN-TASTIC!!! Also - the food needs work. We waited for over half an hour for our food and then got it and it was all super cold. So it's hard to give the food a true review. They had forgotten to take it to our table - so who knows how long it sat out waiting to be delivered. They probably should have remade it all. Also the options for the food could be better. In fairness - it was the grand opening weekend. So they get a pass... but I hope they fix that. Drinks and bar tenders were awesome! We bought two memberships and plan to go back multiple times a week! This place is heaven on earth for dog lovers! Tennis balls laying around for epic fetch sessions. Water features sprinkling fountains of water for the dogs to play with - a big green hill for the pups to run up and view the surroundings from a higher vantage point. Just all around great fun with our dogs ! I hope the food situation gets better because being able to have a decent dinner or lunch at the location would be a game changer. Highly recommend! My complaints are meant to help them improve and be even more amazing. As it is I still think it is an amazing place where our dogs can have a blast while we also have a blast watching them have a blast! read more

I'm rewriting/updating my one-star review, as I have had time to read all the sudden reviews posted after mine, clearly in response to me. Rules are set in place for a reason, understandable especially in the environment of a dog park. Safety comes first for humans and dogs alike - especially children. No one ever disputed this. However, the staff was very harassing and unprofessional in their delivery and that is where the issue lies (i.e. one of the "dog tenders" sitting there snickering). My statement still stands - if you have children, just don't even bother bringing them here unless you literally have them tied to your waist. However, the establishment seemed to be fine otherwise. My dog was having a great time for the short amount of time we were there. There were a couple of altercations with groups of dogs as we were walking out, that definitely were not just "dogs playing" (I come from a vet tech background and can absolutely spot the difference) that did not seem to be addressed in a timely manner, but that could have been a one off. read more

A great reopening to BarK. They're making sure that the not so safe parts of Bark are being fixed. This includes paying close attention to problematic dogs, and making sure that CHILDREN are not left running around and unattended (a majjjjor problem that was not addressed by BarK. This is NOT a place for children - it is both a dog park and a bar. If you bring your kids here and don't want them closely, you are a danger to your own children and everyone around you). I've been really impressed by their attentiveness to these glaring issues as they reopen. My dog and I have been back a few times and feel much safer now. read more

I had a really great experience here and honestly think the rating should be higher. When I first walked in I was a little unsure because there was a noticeable smell, but once we got outside it completely went away and the atmosphere was amazing. The space is perfect for letting dogs run and play, there are bars available, and the overall vibe was fun and relaxed. Most people were very attentive to their dogs and nothing ever got out of control. I did notice a few smaller dogs being a bit more reactive, but workers handled it and it was not an issue. I would just note that this is definitely a dog focused environment, so very young kids may not be the best fit unless you are comfortable with dogs running around. There is a restaurant for people only, you can also order food to be delivered. Overall I loved it and will absolutely be back with friends and family 10 out of 10 recommend sorry photos aren't the best. read more

This place is a joke. The people who own this park have no business running a dog park. The "dog tenders" know nothing about dogs or their behaviors. One walks around with a board using it to "shoo" at dogs (a lot of these dogs are rescues who have been abused and would find that terrifying), another one runs around breaking up every play session amongst dog friends because he has not been trained on how dogs play and what play is vs. a fight, another one is preoccupied walking her own dog around the park on a leash instead of paying attention to what is going on and doing her job and another one has treats in her pocket! They frequently label dogs as "aggressive" and make them wear red collars and stay on leashes simply because they don't understand dog behavior and even appear to be afraid of dogs. Who signs up to be a dog tender if you don't like dogs???? The "rules" change daily and they are based upon who is working that day so you have no idea what you are walking into on any given day. When you reach out for some assistance, no one in management will respond to you or communicate and no one is on the same page. I go there because my dog loves it and he was a bar k member for 4 years and has soo many friends that he loves to play with, but it is very disappointing that this place is being run soo poorly. Hopefully they will improve as time goes on. read more
