Carter provides excellent service and amazing southern hospitality. We were actually traveling from Charleston to Savannah to Atlanta and stumbled upon this place on the way to Charleston since it's have way. We just so happened to make it to happy hour between 3-6. Food was priced well as well as the drinks. I actually want to say they had better seafood than a few places that we visited from Charleston. Oysters were good, crawfish was a bit smaller, but good. The ambiance was bit on the dive bar side so don't expect much, but what they lack in ambiance, they made up pricing and flavors. I would recommend this place to anyone.

It's boozy but really good Shrimp & Grits Everyone's very nice and helpful This feels like a bar/pub. Everything was fast but fresh and tasty. Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Disliked / Shrimp and Grits were good but I would have liked them to be a little more creamy, they were thick, flavor was great I think they might have just needed to loosen up a little This dish needed more of the gravy, especially when the Grits were as thick as they were. But it was still really good.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

Every Queen needs a King and you can seduce your palete at Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery…read more After hearing amazing things about Kitchen Kings food and their favorable turn out at the Foodie Event, I stopped in and had a Surf N Turf Platter - Honors Platter with perfectly seasoned grilled Salmon & Shrimp over Dirty Rice with Mac N Cheese & Green Beans. The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday. The music Playlist was the perfect R&B garnish to the entire dining experience. I will be back for their Low Country Boil & the wonderful Strawberry Velvet Cake. Kings Kitchen x Natta's Sweet Bakery will not disappoint you. In fact, it will make ypur day better. Please honor my review and take a taste for yourself today and dine like a King or Queen mixed with sweetness from the Bakery.

While the…read moreserver was sweet and mostly attentive, she never told us about the specials, forgot a drink and we had to ask about the bread. I ordered the Australian Wagyu , it was okay, tasty but not tender. The side faux potato was awful. My partners pork chop was better. The crème brûlée was the best part. I'm still wondering if I would have preferred one of the specials. For the price of this meal I can go to other places such as Frog & Hen, or Cork & Flame, and get the crumbs scraped off my tablecloth with a knife. Sorry, but when a customer arrives expecting to pay top dollar for a meal, they expect the meal, the service and the atmosphere to be too notch as well. Brinkleys didn't hit that mark.

If you're looking for a sign to book the reservation at Brinkley's Chop House... this is it!…read more We're back again for Mother's Day and somehow Brinkley's still manages to exceed expectations every single time. At this point, it has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in the CSRA. This visit felt extra special because we were seated in the private dining area and I absolutely loved it. The space felt intimate, elevated, and perfect for celebrations. Honestly, I could see myself hosting an event there one day.... Bridal shower, birthday party...you name it! Now let's get into the food because Brinkley's does not miss. I had the Million Dollar Bacon and caviar deviled eggs, the Brinkley's salad, and of course the infamous brussels sprouts. The Million Dollar Bacon and caviar deviled eggs were chef's kiss and definitely Instagram worthy. Everything came out flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Also, can we talk about the green to-go bags? I'm assuming they were left over from Masters week, but it was such a nice touch and honestly added to the experience. And a HUGE shoutout to our waitress Alyssa C. because great service deserves to be recognized. She was attentive, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and somehow managed to make our table feel cared for the entire time without ever hovering. Even during a busy Mother's Day rush, she stayed calm, warm, and on top of every detail. Customer service like that is rare these days and it truly made the experience even better. Brinkley's continues to prove why people keep coming back. Whether it's date night, a celebration, solo dinner plans, or brunch with family... they know how to create an experience.
