The lemon pepper wings tasted like someone cut a lemon and squeezed it over it. Soggy, sweet and sour

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

After a delayed flight, I just wanted dinner in my suite and ordered the Grilled Rib Eye Pork chop with Broccollini and mashed. I was amazed at how delicious this dinner was! It came quickly (within about 20 minutes) and was delivered by one of the very friendly front desk clerks. The chop was cooked perfectly and was delicious, juicy, and tender. I loved the broccollini as it still had snap but was not undercooked, just enough that you tasted the fresh flavors. The garlicky mashed were REAL potatoes with a good amount of butter...excellent! I really enjoyed my meal, and it set me in a better mood after hitting 5 cities so far this week (and it's only Thursday!). Loss of 1 star as they had no rolls or bread to go with it, and that should be a standard.

Compared to other buffets, they didn't have much of a selection. They had the usual fruit and salad, but as far as meat offerings, they had fried shrimp, fried flounder, chicken wings, and prime rib (it was cold). The side offerings were rice, red potatoes, and mixed vegetables. Some of the seafood offerings were served on ice and there was clams, shrimp, and crab legs. I didn't get a chance to try the many desserts. They also had a pasta station. The pasta was the best part of the meal. The chef cooks it in front of you and you have a choice of chicken or something that looks like imitation crab. The live music was ok. The wait staff was attentive to our needs. The buffet is pretty pricey. Do i think it was worth the $30/40? NOT AT ALL.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

I looked up steakhouses near the area on Yelp and Finch & Fifth had the best reviews. My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

There was no line, no wait. The young lady that took our order was pleasant. We ordered 2 Big Mama combos. They did not have water or sodas available so we had to get pink lemonade or fruit punch. That lemonade was WAY too sweet. Our three-year-old enjoyed it. I ordered mine plain and she ordered hers all the way. The patties didn't seem consistent. One got pretty thin while the other was about twice as thick at one part. (check my pictures) Not a big deal. The actual burger had potential. I didn't dislike it but my expectations are higher for $10+ burgers. The patties could have used much more seasoning. They were quite stingy with the cheese. The bun tasted like the brioche ones from Kroger. They are pretty good. I did like how they were toasted. It just missed the spot for me. She described hers as MEH. "I don't mind a greasy burger but this is messy bc the sauce is watery." She also said she would have preferred leaf lettuce vs shredded lettuce. Thinks they were going for Big Mac vibes with the sauce and shredded lettuce. Neither one of us are full off the "BIG MAMA". The fries were just fries. Pretty standard frozen fries. They were seasoned fine and had a decent crisp to them. Not very rememberable. Kinda stingy with the fries too. In conclusion, always go try things for yourself in Augusta. You may love it but it's not for me. The food versus the price is not a good value at all. $31 and we both aren't even half full. (Neither of us have savage appetites.) We drove from North Augusta for it. Wouldnt do it again. Hope they improve bc we can always use local food options.
