I used to go to Chili's for the fajitas, because they use better quality steak for fajitas than my local Mexican restaurant. My last visit, 5 Aug 2026, the fajita trio came with zero seasoning. I took a piece of the chicken, tasted like poached chicken, flavorless. I ate the shrimp. Manager came and sent my order back to the kitchen. The replacement arrived, again with zero seasoning. They did "grill" it longer to give the chicken more color which made the steak hard and chewy, but the fajita seasoning was lacking. What happened to adding cumin, paprika, garlic, chili powder to fajitas? The wait staff was pretty good, and both the wait staff and the manager were engaging, helpful, considerate and polite even when deal with a grumpy person about lack of flavor. I went to the Chili's webpage to get a picture from the menu to compare, but the picture doesn't look to be seasoned either. Maybe that's the new Chili's menu, IDK. But I'm not going back for flavorless fajitas. read more

It's been awhile since we came and they did not disappoint at all. We were a party of 10 and got sat within minutes. Our waitress Chloe was just the sweetest and amazing. The food was pretty good but the mac & cheese was too soupy and apparently I'm not a big fan of asparagus. It also took a pretty long time to come out. Otherwise the service was pleasant. The Greeter obviously wasn't thrilled to be at work, perhaps she was having a bad day. Happy hour not offered throughout the entire restaurant, which we don't know until we were already seated (maybe the greeter could have mentioned it) We ordered the western egg rolls for an app and they were really tasty. Also ordered the Triple dipper with mozzarella sticks, big mouth bites, and the Nashville hot chicken crispers. The bites were a bit dry (a pickle would have set them straight) and the Nashville Hot was too salty for us. However we also ordered the Cajun Pasta w/ shrimp and I absolutely enjoyed. It was a large serving of pasta, I took most of it home for lunch the next day. Service was fine but a little slow we thought. Overall our meal and 2 cheap drinks each was over $80. I dipped into Chili's last week to grab a beer and watch the second half of the Falcons game. In reality, it was a Chili's. If you've been to one of them, you've more or less to been to them all. The only thing that really stood out was that there was a patron asleep at the bar when I got there (we're talking midafternoon on a Sunday). I mean, like completely out of it. Her head was down on the bar, hoodie pulled up and fully asleep. At some point she woke up, spilled her coffee everywhere and went back to sleep. What struck me as odd, is that at no point did any of the staff address this. Like, are we allowed to just show up and sleep at a Chili's? I mean, I guess so. And to be fair to her, she wasn't actively bothering anyone. But if I'm management I feel like this isn't a good look and certainly not the image I want to project in a family friendly restaurant. I'd say she got about a solid 2+ hours of sleep and was still there when I left. Good for her. Anyway, if you need a place to crash for a bit, check out this Chili's. It seems to be a good spot for a power nap. read more

My son picked Chili's for his birthday dinner. There was an off putting smell when I walked in. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't pleasant. We waited a while for someone to get drink orders. I almost thought they didn't know we were there. I had my kids go ahead and pick their food so we wouldn't have to wait another 15-20 mins for them to take the order. The waitress was nice enough. The food was ok. My kids ordered the triple dipper & I ordered the 6 oz sirloin. I tried the chicken strips from one of my kids plates. Best chicken strips hands down. My husband got the classic triple dipper with sliders, fried mozzarella, and chicken tenders in Nashville hot. I got the ancho salmon, off the guiltless menu, and was pleasantly surprised with crispy, tender, flavorful salmon. Skillet queso came out watery and oily, chips were half uncooked. Requested bacon to be well done. It came out, rare, brought it to the attention of the waitress who took it back, and in a minute later brought back out the same raw bacon with the edges burnt and said that that's the best she can do. My trip to chilis before my last visit was awesome, sadly I can't say the same for this recent visit! My husband wanted to order the triple dipper and was told not to because the wait time was to long. He said he didn't mind waiting but the waiter insisted that he just get something else. Ok cool we both then decided on steak and strawberry margs. Waiter brought back regular margs instead of strawberry and told us that we were lying and did not mention a flavor and that we should be happy cause it's only $6 anyway! The food came and the broccoli was not steamed at all it was hard and tasteless and only room temp because the plate was hot we were charged for extra food we didn't receive or ask for and was told they had no silverware to eat with and was offered plastic wear to eat a steak. Someone was asking diners near us whether or not they were enjoying their food; we were not asked. There was a pleasant person (it appeared to be management) inquiring about our satisfaction. The server listed the amount of gratuity she expected. We paid, but her service didn't merit the amount requested. It's a good Chili's. The menu is large and the lunch combos must be read carefully to get the "best deal". The waitperson acted as though he was afraid of us to begin but warmed up and remembered our take out order. The food was good, the appetizer of chips was huge and the salsa OK. One star for the service and the drink which were decent. The food really deserves 0 stars. We went for a quick bite dinner and both opted for the same basic meal. I feel like you shouldn't be able to wrong with a glorified kids meal. The tenders and fries were cool to the touch immediately. The Mac looked like it was steaming hot but, upon first bite it was also cold noodles. Cold noodles few and far between in a warm very soupy/watery liquid. The Mac and cheese was awful and I heard other tables also commenting on this. The tenders were all tough and difficult to eat, pull apart or even cut with a knife. The spicy margarita was decent flavor and I wasn't disappointed for the price of $6. I do not think this will be a restaurant we'll come back to after this meal. read more

You used to get twice as much for the price I paid. Absolutely nothing came with my fajitas no cheese, lettuce or sour cream which I was really looking forward to after a long day at work and don't have these items in my fridge. I normally stray away from big chain restaurants b/c 1) I want to support small businesses and 2) the food and/or service can be a hit or miss. However, we came b/c it's been years and wanted to stop through and let me tell you...Chili's did not disappoint. It's so easy to overlook this Chili's since it's between two of Augusta's biggest restaurants, Twin Peaks and Logan's. I'm a fan of appetizer style food and Chili's have an array of choices. I recommend the Triple Dipper which is a sampler tray of 3 different appetizer. I easily was full from this alone. I've been to this location two times over the last couple of months. Both times have been absolutely great. The first time we sat in a booth with our family. Our waitress was extremely attentive and VERY polite! The food showed up faster than expected and tasted great. Drinks never got empty and the entire place just had an overall clean feeling to it. The second time was just as good. My wife and I sat at the bar with a busy bartender, but let me tell you, that girl was on point! She never stopped while we were there but still had time to make sure everyone at the bar had what they needed while making sure the restaurant had their drinks and that the bar stayed cleaned and ready to serve more. The food was great and showed up surprisingly fast once more! This is quickly turning into my new favorite spot! I will definitely be back for more! read more
