Told him to address the thermostat hose, throttle housing and asked for an oil change as well. He had me buy the parts (great so far), we scheduled a day for him to make repairs. He showed up and changed the parts but couldnt get the car to stay on. He said the motor was probably blown or one of the pulleys were no good. And said the engine was smoking..Recommended to return and charge the battery and change the oil the following week. Unfortunately my sister paid him.... he said he would be back. I went to her house installed a new battery and an alternator. I sent Tom a video of the car working and just asked him to complete the oilchange since he was paid.. Tom agreed. Tom wont respond to texts or my calls. i have called and texted multiple times to give him the benefit of doubt before giving Tom this truthful and bad review. Louie is incredibly kind, efficient and has never tried to upsell me on anything that wasn't necessary. When I needed two new tires (after an inspection he did) he recommended the best shop around (across the river) for alignment and my goodness he was right. Never has my car driven so well and it's quite old! This is a testament to good referrals. They go a long way. I would 100% recommend this shop! FYI: I lived a few blocks away when I first found him and have since moved to a neighboring town but go out of my way to come back. Worth it

Ashley, working in the office, seemed to really know what she was talking about, as if she had been a mechanic all her life. They took my car in right away, even though I didn't have an appointment, got the OEM compatible coils delivered and installed the next day (as soon as they came in). The price quoted was reasonable, and I was charged less than what they quoted. They got me on the road just one day later than I had planned. I arrived home with no problems, and my mpg was just as expected when I filled up back in VA.

The root cause ended up being a missing NVH foam piece - something simple, but overlooked repeatedly. Bolt also worked directly with my warranty company and made a real effort to get as much covered as possible, which I appreciated. While they were in there, they were upfront about the spark plugs - noting that since access was already open, it made sense to take care of it now rather than paying for the same labor again down the road. That kind of transparency goes a long way. Overall, the team comes across as fair, honest, and focused on doing things the right way. It's safe to say I'll be going back to Bolt moving forward.

I ended up replacing both front tires, to keep wear even. The man checking me in also recommended an alignment, which I totally agreed I should do. He discounted the tires a little because of the added service. For the service I was there just over an hour. Mind you I arrived minutes after they opened, the wait time does seem to get longer as the day goes on. The only reason I gave 4 stars rather than 5 is because the waiting room was lacking. There were 6 seats, a coffee table, TV, and water cooler. With waiting people it could get a little crowded, and it's not well suited for people like me who might bring work to complete while waiting. But as far as customer service, I'm very happy.

Maybe they do not do Uhaul anymore but check out my photo. I uploaded a copy of my receipt with my named blacked out. They certainly did Uhaul last year. Perhaps they lost the contract with uhaul because of their practices. The reason I am updating my post and uploading a picture of my receipt now is because they said they never rented me a Uhaul and they are sending me emails calling me names. They are very unprofessional. I wouldn't use them for anything. This company is so bad. they even went to Yelp to have my review removed. I am re-posting my original review so others don't get taken... I was moving. My moving company didn't show up so I hired some local kids and needed a truck quickly. I have used uhaul many times. I usually get from a bigger uhaul location but this one was close. When you walk in there they have names on the wall of people that "have ripped them off". I'm sure that these were innocent people that were taken advantage of. My name might be there now for all I know. The lady told me I had to book it from my computer. They could not do it there easily. I was standing there trying to do it with my iPhone and told her this just was working out well. The website said I was getting a rate of .29 per mile. So after a few tries she got it to book. It was a one day rental. I had to have it back by 6:00 pm. The truck was snowed in. I lost about a half hour as they tried to pull it out of the snow. The truck they were using first to pull out my rental had its bumper ripped off. Good thing I stood far back. Then they used a tie rope that also came loose and would have killed someone standing close. They get it out and I am on my way. I look at my receipt and the gas says 1/4 tank. The truck is bone dry and says I have 7 miles to I run out. I call them on the phone. She says, "we noticed the gas and have marked it down on our end." I think ok cool. I lost a 1/2 hour of my time but I will finish early. I put $25 worth of gas in it. I finish my move and return early. The next day I get an email receipt charging me for a two day rental, $30 gas refill convenience fee, $35 for gas and .99 per mile. I call, no answer. I call, no answer. I drive over there. The same guy I gave the key to the night before says the owner is around back and he will get him. Ten minutes later he says he is in Poughkeepsie and gone for the day. I called uhaul and register a complaint. A day later I get a corrected bill except I am still being charged .99 per Mile. I drove so few miles I let it go. The uhaul rep called me and asked if I was happy. I said I was. My experience with uhaul is still good just not this place that seems to be a shady outfit.

The last time, he told me I could pick up my car at 5 p.m. When I arrived at 5:30, I was informed the door was still apart, and I would need to wait another 20 minutes. At that point, the owner was already becoming aggressive and swore loudly when he saw me. I asked if the window was fixed, and he responded impatiently, saying he had already told me on the phone that he took the door apart, put it back, and it was now working. I asked if the issue would happen again, and he said it likely would. I pointed out that it wasn't fair to charge me since the problem wasn't fully resolved, and I had been told I would receive a call before any charges were made. The owner then walked up close to my face and said, "I'll let you go this time, but don't ever come back here again. I think you're a bitch." He then quickly reassembled the door in three minutes, dropped my keys at me while looking down on me, went back into the store, and shut the door behind him.

He was unable to tell us there was a water leak. They literally took everything apart, dried and removed all the mold. It took a long time but he now has a healthy, clean and sanitized car waiting for him as he recovers. I would highly recommend them!
