Food here is a sooo fresh. Had the hot stone bowl, white rice, bulgogi beef, vegetables of my choice and a fried egg. Homemade sauces too. Everything in house is Gluten free. Service was wonderful; a super sweet couple run this family owned business. Ambiance is simple and casual. Quick option for take out or dining in. Highly recommend this spot. I will definitely be back.

Ordered takeout from K Fresh while at the nearby hospital. The online ordering was easy, and I loved that you get to select so many options for toppings (up to 5!). Kind of like Chipotle but for Korean food! Ingredients tasted fresh, and for $13, the portion size is very generous and filling. Only downside was that some toppings were far too salty for me, like the shiitake mushrooms and even the marinade on the honey glazed chicken. We also got a vegan mango shake and enjoyed the mango chunks!

OhMyGoodness! You have not tried fresh Bibimbap until you've been here!!!! This little spot is amazing- quick service, fresh food made to order, options galore and reasonably priced! There is seating inside and outside to enjoy the delicious food. The perfect lunch spot, dinner spot, snack spot ever. You will love It here, I promise.

This is a unique take on Korean food. It's like subway but for a bibimbap style bowl. I wish you could have more free options before the add ons start, but I'm sure we'd all love that. Either way, the ingredients were fresh and had everything you could want. It was very tasty and there were sauce options as well, not just geochujang. Very casual and fast, so it is perfect for lunch. Also, there is a fantastic bakery around the corner.

Aaaah YESSS I 100 percent endorse and recommend this fantastic Korean bowl-concept restaurant (very vegetarian-friendly). It exudes the charm of a small Korean mom-and-pop cafe and its setting amidst former industrial/port businesses and taverns on a side street heading towards the water makes it all the more unique. It you want to get away from machine-like fast food and get a much healthier, tastier, artisanally hand-crafted fast food, then you will not want to miss K Fresh. I had their "hot stone bibimbap" and loved the choices of meats (Vegan Beef? YESSS!), brown/white rice, and exquisite Korean cooked side vegetables as toppings. I chose kimchi (fermented cabbage), spinach, meaty shitake mushrooms, spiced cucumber mix. The bowl was made up in an assembly line fashion, then taken to the magic in the back kitchen, and presented to me on the table in a safe-wood frame, because the stone bowl was HOT! What sets this place apart from other "vegan bowls" is that each element of the toppings is cooked in traditional style. Other modern American vegan bowls seem thrown together for their eye candy value--for color--while the components are barely seasoned or cured. Here, the components are cooked with reference to centuries of cultural practice, and the bowl thus opens a window into unique place-based cultural adaptation of food to climate, nutritional needs, taste palates, and seasonal ingredient availability. Viva Korea! At the tables various sauces are set out, to dress the bibimbap, helpfully labeled for spice tolerance. The cold grey day outside was perfect to savor the warm, hot and sweet Korean cuisine. I loved this dining experience. I cannot recommend more highly.

Always an easy and delicious meal. Used to go here all the time when I lived in Everett. Found myself back up here this week so had to get my fill. You can customize your bibimbap with protein and various toppings. Just how I remembered it. Good price and friendly staff to boot!

As someone who is required to eat strictly gluten free and has a dairy free husband, this gem of a restaurant meets all our dietary needs! They are a 100% gluten free and dairy free restaurant with a create your own bowls. We love getting the hot stone bowl option. First, you select your base which includes white rice, brown rice, or salad. Next you select one or two servings of protein (jackfruit is their meatless option). I love combining the jackfruit with their honey chicken. Finally, you can select up to 5 toppings. The service is prompt and the owners are so kind! The restaurant is clean and bright. We love coming here!

My bowl without rice or any base, just protein and vegetable, and sauces of course! So yummy!

This place has All the things, and it's GLUTEN FREE (the whole place) AND DAIRY FREE with lots of VEGAN options!!!! Oh and keto! The base options are white or brown rice, cauliflower rice(who does that...These guys, So stinking awesome) and lettuce. The sauce options were also yummy! Unami to sweet to creamy and savory, yummy!!! Super clean and neat inside, owners are friendly and appreciative. Those with some food allergies it's a safe haven! And the food was fresh and delish! Not my first time or my last time here! Portions are fair and prices are great! In today's world a good meal under 15$ is unheard of!

So many options to customize your bibimbap so you really can't get sick of them. They're sauces are also really delicious. This place is the best. I was skeptical of a totally gluten and dairy free menu, as that sounded too good to be true. Nope! This place is sooo good! Huge portions, so many options, tons of flavor and overall super healthy meals. Got the beef and it was super tender and not fatty at all. Plus, the staff was so nice and gave us extra free sauce. I came across this place by searching up "vegan" in Everett and I'm so glad I did! I decided to dine in to try the hot stone bibimbap and it was delicious. I had the vegan beef which was super flavorful and I also got a strawberry milkshake that was simply amazing. First time coming here at K Fresh. I would say it was a nice experience. Service was really good and also food tasted nice. I ordered the honey glazed chicken with (5) toppings which included tofu, broccoli, sprouts, mushrooms & stir fried zucchini. I had white rice mixed with brown rice caused they were low in white rice at that moment. I also got their potatoes salad and it tasted really fresh in flavor. They also serve you with different types of drinks and of course FREE hot green tea and water. I do have one issue was that honey glazed chicken was a little chewy . Interested concept think of like a chipotle style Bibimbap concept. Makes sense and works . The ingredients were definitely fresh, but the beef was chewy and the cuts were way too big. They needed to be cut since they were a bit chewy and large. I ate it in a stone bowl which always gives it extra flavors. read more

First time trying Bibimbap and it was amazing! Greeted with warm friendly service as soon as you walk in with a cheerful explanation of how to order if you've never ordered there before. Choose between brown and white rice and followed by picking either beef, chicken, or jackfruit and you're on your way. A dozen or so choices of toppings where you pick 5 - I chose garlic, kimchi, bean sprouts, egg, and daikon radish. With a sprinkle of sesame seeds, the bowl was taken to their kitchen and then delivered to my table piping hot. Four sauces were available - mild (which actually seemed more peppery than the spicy,) spicy, sweet, and soy. Everything was fresh and delicious and very satisfying. Will definitely return! read more

Hot stone is the way to go for healthy great tasting food made fresh. Still hands down best local small business doing it right. Healthy fresh and tasty I love the vegan potato salad I always get 2 So I have 1 for later. I don't usually do that but as a vegan this is refreshing take on regular potato salad and I crave it when I am hungry. read more

A little hole in the wall gem! I told myself I couldn't eat it all but I did! My 5&7 year old liked the honey chicken. I love the way that they let you customize the bibimbap. I went with my friend who is vegetarian and she got the jackfruit and also loved it! I got the beef bulgogi and it was delicious. I'll defiantly come back. Great Food that Tantalizes the Palate. Located near the South end of Everett's waterfront. Dine in and try their satisfying food served in sizzling hot cast iron bowls. Choose up to five toppings on top a bed of rice and add sauces to complete your meal. Toppings include jackfruit (try it you'll like it), vegan meat, roasted garlic, edamame, shiitake mushrooms, daikon radish, tofu, etc. The hot bowl continues to cook as you eat which makes the rice crispy on the outer edges. The cool cucumber potato salad is a great addition as an add on for a side. Finish it off with the coconut based non-dairy sundae. As others have said, Happy Tummy! Do not recommend. We ended up here because my best friend is vegan and as they do have a great array of vegan options the food just was not good. We got our food in the hot bowl which they warm up like a skillet and server to you, for an extra $3. I though it would make the food better seeing as it's an extra charge so we didn't mind. But it seemed to just make the bowl a steaming mush. The vegan potato salad was different but surprisingly good. When we didn't take any left overs (our plates were full) the owner asked if we would like to-go boxes we said no we didn't like it much, and asked us if we wanted a refund. We declined as it is a small business, but was nice of her to offer. read more

I really loved this experience. I was so excited to come here because of the hot stone pot and I wasn't disappointed. The area is a little confusing and this restaurant definitely wasn't where I thought it was but it was super clean and cute inside and the food was great. The staff were so nice to me and willing to walk me through the process of building my own bowl and weren't at all annoyed with my indecisiveness regarding toppings options (or at least they hid it well). This was a great place for us to stop while in Everett. First, everything is fresh, it was so easy for each member of our group of five to tailor their meal- the vegetarian stayed veggie, the gluten free person kept gluten free, I was able to have the beef which was tasty especially when the sides were added. What a great find! Something delicious and filling for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters with great selections of braised meats such as Korean BBQ (bulgogi) or honey chicken, many different types of vegetables (about 20) such as Korean spinach, shiitake mushrooms, daikon, brown or white rice and noodles. Entrees are served in compostable or smoking hot stone dishes. We like the stone dishes because they keep our food hot to the last bite! There are also several wonderful sauces such as Tamari soy sauce and mild to spicy sweet sauce. The owners are kind, friendly people who have helped us through the menu the first couple of times we visited. If you are looking for a filling, delicious meal, K Fresh is a great place to go! read more

This is my new favorite spot in Everett. I love Korean food, but it can sometimes be super challenging to find vegetarian options. The fake meats are good, but the jackfruit is even better. And as the pickieeater ever the way it's set up to customize the bowls works perfect for me. Super friendly service, and very fast so it's perfect for grabbing lunch on the go. read more

Can't believe this gem has been here a year and I didn't even know. My first visit today for some takeout build your own bibimbap and it was delicious!! I love all the options--I tried the beef with the mild sauce and it was amazing. The kimchi is really mild and good. They have plant based options as well and lots of toppings to choose from! The place is super cute outside and inside, and the staff is so nice! Wish I'd found this place sooner. Go go go, you won't be disappointed! read more

To be clear, this is a cafe, not a full blown restaurant. They serve luncheon fare, but it's a small operation so be either patient to don't bother - especially if there's a line. It's counter ordering with payment expected in advance. The tables closest to the window are a *little* harrowing because of the ADA ramp that leads to the door: the closest chairs can teeter down the ramp if the chairs are pushed back too far. Be careful. There are huge, regular, and small tables available. The biggest table is a little tricky to navigate for folks who want to sit in the booth side, but once seated it's quite lovely. I ordered the Pesto Pasta (involving zoodles: zucchini noodles) and a Sun Juice. My friend ordered the Grilled Cheese and Bisque. Please note: it's worth looking around this place while waiting for your food. You can conceivably get your own water, napkins and cutlery if you walk far enough along the counter towards the back of the restaurant. Back there, you may also notice a single-occupancy restroom and bins for bussing your own dishes. The Sun Juice arrived first, freshly blended, and was delicious. If that's what their juice is like, I look forward to exploring their smoothie offerings. My pasta arrived looking BEAUTIFUL on a bed of spinach, and smelled just as good. It tasted a teensy bit more of salt than I would've liked, but then I speared a sun dried tomato with my next bite and remembered that I'm not a food critic, just a happy customer. Although I'm not generally a fan of zoodles, they seemed to have the art of cooking them down pat: they didn't distract from the pesto at all. The bisque had an artful design of (coconut? cashew?) cream on top. My friend was delighted to note that it was a bit of spice to it: nothing challenging, but just enough for her to find comforting. Given the light and airy look of the inside and the rather rustic / flower-child look of the outside, she was not expecting that surprise. She was so impressed with the grilled cheese sandwich that she offered me a bite: we were both quite impressed with the "cheese" they used, as the item was listed as vegan on the menu. My friend kept whining that she's doomed, as they're close to where she lives *and* they deliver. Oh, yeah - poor her, indeed. Alas, alack, and so on.

Prior to this year they branded themselves as a vegan kitchen. Now vegans have to worry about cross-contamination quality issues. Unfortunately this is not a restaurant I can continue recommend. I have been a customer of Wayward for well over a decade and it's really sad to see their decline in quality.

You only get 2 burgers and eggs if you add 2.50 (regular size). If you choose mini its not for the size of the sides but way less meat. I believe the photo and wording were very misleading. In long Previously, my biggest complaint with coming here was the total lack of parking every time I have tried. They obviously have no trouble getting the crowds in here. Today we scored some free time in the mid-afternoon, and their HH starts at 3:00 every day. We did go off the HH menu for 3 items, which ended up being worth it. You can't help but notice the buildout here. Pretty lights, interesting patterns or murals on almost every wall, lots of cool detail to the finishes everywhere you look. They even have yon selfie wall next to the washrooms (they took down a much bigger one). The bar has a couple flatscreens showing the game, but I'd probably not come here specifically to pay attention to a ballgame. At regular price, we got an awesome plate of chunky guac which I'd put against guac anywhere around here, at least that I've tried. At $15, it was almost a buck a bite, but, man, it was tasty. The bean dip had a great creamy consistency and mixed well with all the other condiments. We also got a muddled fruit cocktail from the regular menu, which was also excellent. The ceviche isn't a huge portion, and not overloaded with shrimp, but, hey, it's HH, and it's super fresh and tasty. The street tacos had awesome grilled flavor on the chicken, and the salsa served with them was fresh and excellent. We got 2 other salsas with our chips; the table salsa is nice but mild on the heat. The habanero salsa was a little too runny to get much on a plain chip, but it had great flavor and kick. Everything tasted really fresh and added plenty of seasoning to whatever was on the table. This is definitely a good place to mash up your salsas and dips and see what you concoct. The street corn was delicious. Such a perfect HH food--easy for the kitchen, but tons of flavor, and they nail the presentation. Corn tasted really sweet and crunchy even though you know they get it frozen. I'd get it again any time. For 3 apps, 2 dips, and 2 cocktails, we were under $90 before tip. Not too bad, especially since we went off the HH menu for stuff. This place is definitely in the rotation.

Hurray! Korean food has finally arrived at Everett, Washington. Prior to this, the closest Korean food to me would mean a drive to Lynnwood at a more formal restaurant. K Fresh is a clean, cozy eating nook located on the sleepy port-side of downtown Everett. It's clean and bright inside, and it offers dine-in, to-go and some tables outside, too. Among its various offerings, this restaurant provides traditional-style bibimbap in a way similar to how one orders a sandwich at Subway -- with autonomy of choice. To my knowledge, Oma Bap is the only other Korean-inspired restaurant that serves bibimbap in this manner. What sets K Fresh aside is the authentic options they offer that are just like what one would find Korean restaurants. Plus, they offer some interesting renditions of their own to their protein selections that I have not seen in other Korean-owned restaurants. The owners of this restaurant are both friendly and very thoughtful by offering vegetarian and gluten-free options to their clientele. K Fresh is certainly not a franchise (to my knowledge). Nor does it taste like a franchise! It has the atmosphere and savor of reality, made on-site. A restaurant such as this is a risky venture in an area like Everett where authentic Asian food is less frequented by locals. I'm so glad the owners chose to take this chance. In terms of COVID-19 practices, the owners comply with precautions by wearing masks and gloves in addition to having a plexiglass barrier at the counter. How was my experience? Delicious! K Fresh's kimchi was enjoyable -- not too spicy for a guy who avoids spice. I also added to my coconut chicken their Korean spinach, a zuchini topping, egg, and a cucumber topping. All had tasty authentic flavors. If you're tired of the average Everett humdrum, or if you have been meaning to try Korean food but felt you needed a Korean friend to take you, please stop by K Fresh. I will be returning soon to discover the other options on their menu and hope to see you there. read more

So I go to this restaurant alot, I would say atleast once a week. This past wednesday I picked up a bowl to go and im not sure which ingrediant was bad but Igot really bad food poisoning and was left on the toilet overnight with vomit and diarrhea combo and rushing to toilets every 30 minutes to an hour the following days. It is now sunday and I finally feel okay enough to have normal meals. I lost about 5 pounds in the process. If anyone is wondering ingrediants, white rice, glass noodles, kimchi, bean sprouts, beef, egg and green onions. It's good, but I'm not a fan of places where they don't have recommendations. It's always a crap-shoot whether you'll like what you choose, and that's not the restaurant's fault. But I go to a place to experience what they have to offer, not to have to decide on stuff I never tried before. I'd recommend they start getting 3-5 recommended bowls, alongside offering what they do to the adventurous. That way people can really get what the place is all about the first time, and for subsequent visits, you can try new combinations. read more
