I switched to a pescatarian diet in February. It's been a pretty easy transition since I cook at home most of the time. Going out to eat isn't so easy since not everyone has non meat/seafood options. I was happy to find out about this place! I love Korean food and before switching my diet I've always loved getting beef bulgogi. I'm pretty particular about where I eat Korean food. This place has been on my list to try for a while and we finally got a chance to try it out today. Their food is SO good. It really is fresh as the name says! Pay an extra $1 or $2 for the hot stone bowl if you're eating there. It's worth it. It keeps the food hot and tastes better. Complete the experience. They have outside seating which is great for a sunny day and for social distancing! I've had plenty of "fake meat" and some didn't taste very good but this was GREAT. The flavor is there and the texture is even close to chicken. They have multiple vegan "meat" options. They have real meat options too. My husband got the beef bulgogi and he loved it. The food wasn't the only good part either. The customer service was great. The owners are a lovely sweet couple and they take great care of you. The establishment was easy to find, clean and spacious. The staff was polite and the concept of building your own bibimbap was interesting. Parking was also easy to find but we came around 4pm on a weekday. I can see parking being an issue around lunch time because their parking is minimal. Although the staff was polite they didn't do a very good job of explaining the process or go into detail about the sides being offered. They also seemed kind of bothered that we took our time choosing our sides since it was our first time there. The food was very bland and overpriced for the portions and overall taste. We paid $14 for the hot plate which consisted of rice, minimal servings of veggies and a bland side of protein. I would be okay paying $14 if the flavor was there but everything was bland!. This is a meal I could make at home for the half the price. If you're looking for delicious Korean food with authentic taste just drive to Lynnwood trust me it's well worth the drive. I am new to Everett and was worried I wouldn't find many healthy veggie options. Decided to order take out today and am so glad I did! Everything was seemless - the menu wasn't too complicated, so many great options (I was very happy to see vegan "meats", the order was processed and handled quicker than expected, the inside of this place is very cute and clean, the woman at the counter was very friendly and recommended some new spots for me to try. My food was beyond delicious and a bigger portion than I expected for a to-go bowl. This place sustained my healthy lifestyle of eating while I was working in Everett for a month. Fresh vegetables always ready to go with your keto chicken, bulgogi beef , honey chicken, or their their vegan chicken which is jackfruit! What makes this place even more better is the lovely old lady preparing the meals behind the counter. Always enthusiastic and ready to serve customers some hathy korean food. read more

The owner made us return customers after a bad first experience. We must have came in on an off night because they were out of just about everything (even rice...) I thought this must have been an unusual experience and when the owner invited us back to try a meal on the house we took her up. Our experience the next visit was much better! The place was much cleaner and organized and the owner herself seems awesome. A good place to grab a quick and easy bite. Korean style food has great flavor on its own, but wasn't the best I've had in town. Overall, worth a stop! read more

This place does a fusion twist of the traditional Korean bibimbap dish. There are a variety of sauces you can put in your bowl after your customize all of the meat and vegetables options. I do appreciate how they bring out your bowl with a wooden box to protect those who have never had traditional stone bowl bibimbap from getting nasty burns by touching the bow. Most of the sauces were pretty mild, and no option was presented for the traditional spicier and thicker gochujang style sauce. read more

k fresh gas such a cute shop and the employees who were clocked in when i was there last night were so kind and wholesome. this place is super nice for a smaller dinner as you can pick and choose if you want rice or lettuce for your base. they also have great selections of veggies and protein. as far as taste, it certainly could have had some more flavor to it, but then again they provide you with sauces to apply to your own liking so after throwing on some soy and spicy sauce it had much better flavor. i'll certainly be back here when i come back in town again :) read more

This place was not my cup of tea. The other two parties in the restaurant during my lunch time visit were really enjoying their food. For $14.25 including tax I received less then a cup of brown rice, 4oz of chicken, and five tablespoons of various veggies. The spinach had a significant amount of sesame oil which I did not care for. Maybe the brand was not to my liking as I cook with sesame oil often. It was great to have hot food and the restaurant was extremely clean. My other four veggies tasted like plain veggies including zucchini and mushrooms. The mild sauce was tasty. I have been wanting to check this place out so a friend and I headed over for lunch today. SOOO delicious! I think the owner may have been who served/cooked up our meal. She was super friendly and clearly loves bringing her amazing food to others. I had mine with bulgogi beef, edamame, seafood noodles (OMG I love them - so crunchy!!!), kimchi, shitake mushrooms and a raw egg cracked on top which cooked right into the meal as I stirred. It served sizzling to the table like fajitas are but in this cool wood box so you're far less likely to burn yourself. I also loved that the box raised the height of the bowl so you're not hunched over it. Everything was super fresh and amazing. VERY filling! I took about a third of mine home to eat at dinner. There was also free hot green tea and water which I thought a nice touch. Several types of sauces in lots of bottles so you can just grab what you want for your table while there. What a gem this place is! I will definitely be back often to try all different combinations - YUMMMMMMM!!!!!! Found this hot and new restaurant on yelp and decided to visit with my boyfriend. We're both Korean so we were curious what this fusion place would be like! It's a very cute restaurant with a unique concept of "picking" out your toppings for your stone mixed rice (bibimbap)! I wish they offered unlimited toppings, you could only pick a few. The food taste was decent but the hot sauce was not as spicy as I wanted either. My taste buds are too accustomed to more authentic Korean food.... this place was slightly too pricey in my opinion. But if you're new to Korean food and want to venture out and try - this place would be a good start! read more

My 11 year old son says this is one of his FAVORITE places to eat. The rest of us agree. He will beg to stop by and grab a Kids Bowl on the way home from school sometimes. He sometimes even tries to convince me to get a full bowl.. I'm not ready for him to be that big yet!! hehe Amazingly fresh, try the fried egg on top! Love love love! Vegan, gluten free, nut free!! Fresh and tasty! They have awesome vegan milkshakes!!!! Friendly staff and a wonderful healthful experience! Be sure to check this place out! There is a surprising lack of gluten free vegan options in Everett and I was so excited to stumble across this little restaurant. I did not have high expectations (I mean, it IS just rice with stuff in it) but K Fresh certainly surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds! The vegan options are plenty and delicious. The vegan beef (I believe it was a spiced and marinated soy curd) was absolutely delicious, the kimchi was mild in flavor but still good, and everything was very fresh. It was kind of like the Chipotle of rice bowls and I loved it! If you decide to try out K Fresh you should make sure that you get it in house so that you can use their hot bowls. The bowls make it where your food stays hot and your rice continues to cook as you are eating which results in some amazing crispy bits near the bottom. They also have vegan icecream and shakes! The chocolate shake was super tasty and everything I would hope for. The raspberry shake was a little watery at first but once I started using a spoon instead of a straw it was delicious. I did wind up with a lot of seeds in my teeth though. :( K Fresh is a breath of fresh air and I am so glad that it exists! I will certainly be returning time and time again. read more

Build your own bibimbap. A small place but has many vegan options including fake meat and tofu. I would have enjoyed it more if they had the gochujang but they had other sauces that went well with the dish. read more

I have lived in the Everett area for over 16 years and it makes my heart sing with joy that K Fresh is 5 mins from my house. This place is fantastic. When you walk in, you go to the counter, subway style but a million times better, obviously. You get to pick from a protein and then white or brown rice and then 5 "toppings". Veggies, egg etc. So much food. When they bring it out to your table, it is still burning hot through the last bite of food. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Thanks for coming to Everett, K Fresh! I can't wait to come back and see you grow! read more

This place is awesome ! Me & my friend were enjoy out side seat nice sunny day. The proteins choice is very interesting so, I kind of like jackfruit. 5 topping is very fresh made. I would like to take every each one but have to pick 5 is very hard decision to me. Some one said pricy but if you go to Korean restaurant like Lynnwood area or more farther, I'm going to good food near by me here. And that price is not so expensive who working hard @ here for fresh. I really welcome good Asian food up here north side more ! read more

Probably our favorite restaurant in Everett. For offering pretty much just bibimbap it's crazy how much variety there is between meat, vegan, and gluten free options and all the toppings. I always have trouble picking my toppings because everything looks so fresh and tasty. Highly recommend dining in so you can eat from the hot stone bowl--the sizzling hot stone makes the rice really crispy and delicious. It appears that some of the fresh ingredients are even grown right out back in the garden too. The dairy free shakes are amazing and the service is always great. Love this place! read more

This place is so good! I used to travel to Seattle to get my Bi Bim Bap but now it's walking distance for me!! The owner is incredibly sweet, the location is very clean and friendly (she did some major remodeling, it was awful before hand) and the food is very tasty. I wouldn't say this is a traditional Korean food spot but they definitely satisfy your bi bim nap cravings. Friendly service. Great variety of fresh and healthy toppings. I also LOVE how they are very accommodating for people of different dietary needs!! My family and I decided to dine in so we could try their hot stone bowls- the regular, non-hot bowls are a little cheaper but crispy rice is the best! I ordered the chicken and the meat was a bit on the dry and tough side- not sure if it got over cooked while in the stone bowl but I still ate it up! I was also a little disappointed that the serving size was a bit on the small side- especially for the price of your bowl. And I got a little jealous when our server gave my husband a bigger serving size for his bowl lol! Did I mention that they have dairy free shakes???? This is one of my favorite restaurants, and probably my favorite in everett. I always feel so healthy eating here. Perfect for a high carb low fat vegan diet. They are great for all diets though. Love that they have vegan and non-vegan toppings. I wish more places strived for both so us vegans could still eat with our family and friends who don't chose to eat this way. The food is amazing. Kind of like a subway line where you pick everything you want in the bowl. Get the hot stone bowl!! It makes the rice extra crispy. I didn't know I needed crispy rice in my life until this place. It's not worthwhile to dine in their restaurant because of how uncomfortable it is. Take out is a better option. hey also have introduced meat and dairy items. Prior to this year they branded themselves as a vegan kitchen. Now vegans have to worry about cross-contamination quality issues. Unfortunately this is not a restaurant I can continue recommend. I have been a customer of Wayward for well over a decade and it's really sad to see their decline in quality.

Meat wasn't even on our radar--we were craving something fresh, nourishing, and full of flavor. After checking into our hotel, we headed out on a walk to explore Victoria. Well...our "little stroll" turned into quite the adventure and ended with us catching a ferry taxi back. And here I thought Las Vegas was the city of walking! Still in search of the perfect healthy dinner, we asked the front desk for a recommendation. Without hesitation, she suggested Be Love, mentioning its incredible vegan menu and abundance of gluten-free-friendly options. It sounded exactly like what we were looking for. From the moment we walked in, we loved the atmosphere. The restaurant was bright, clean, welcoming, and had a fun, upbeat energy that made us feel right at home. We started with a couple of refreshing drinks and shared the mezze platter, which was the perfect way to ease into the meal with a variety of fresh, vibrant flavors. Then came the stacked tacos...and apparently our hunger had reached DEFCON 1 because I completely forgot to take a picture before we devoured them! If you've ever looked at your empty plate and thought, "Oops...I guess that was photo-worthy," you'll understand. Fortunately, I remembered dessert. We took home the chocolate caramel brownies and a protein cookie to enjoy later. The protein cookie was good, but those chocolate caramel brownies absolutely stole the show. Rich, decadent, perfectly balanced, and dangerously delicious--I would happily make a return trip just for those alone. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or simply someone who appreciates creative, flavorful food made with quality ingredients, Be Love is absolutely worth a visit. In long Previously, my biggest complaint with coming here was the total lack of parking every time I have tried. They obviously have no trouble getting the crowds in here. Today we scored some free time in the mid-afternoon, and their HH starts at 3:00 every day. We did go off the HH menu for 3 items, which ended up being worth it. You can't help but notice the buildout here. Pretty lights, interesting patterns or murals on almost every wall, lots of cool detail to the finishes everywhere you look. They even have yon selfie wall next to the washrooms (they took down a much bigger one). The bar has a couple flatscreens showing the game, but I'd probably not come here specifically to pay attention to a ballgame. At regular price, we got an awesome plate of chunky guac which I'd put against guac anywhere around here, at least that I've tried. At $15, it was almost a buck a bite, but, man, it was tasty. The bean dip had a great creamy consistency and mixed well with all the other condiments. We also got a muddled fruit cocktail from the regular menu, which was also excellent. The ceviche isn't a huge portion, and not overloaded with shrimp, but, hey, it's HH, and it's super fresh and tasty. The street tacos had awesome grilled flavor on the chicken, and the salsa served with them was fresh and excellent. We got 2 other salsas with our chips; the table salsa is nice but mild on the heat. The habanero salsa was a little too runny to get much on a plain chip, but it had great flavor and kick. Everything tasted really fresh and added plenty of seasoning to whatever was on the table. This is definitely a good place to mash up your salsas and dips and see what you concoct. The street corn was delicious. Such a perfect HH food--easy for the kitchen, but tons of flavor, and they nail the presentation. Corn tasted really sweet and crunchy even though you know they get it frozen. I'd get it again any time. For 3 apps, 2 dips, and 2 cocktails, we were under $90 before tip. Not too bad, especially since we went off the HH menu for stuff. This place is definitely in the rotation.

Hurray! Korean food has finally arrived at Everett, Washington. Prior to this, the closest Korean food to me would mean a drive to Lynnwood at a more formal restaurant. K Fresh is a clean, cozy eating nook located on the sleepy port-side of downtown Everett. It's clean and bright inside, and it offers dine-in, to-go and some tables outside, too. Among its various offerings, this restaurant provides traditional-style bibimbap in a way similar to how one orders a sandwich at Subway -- with autonomy of choice. To my knowledge, Oma Bap is the only other Korean-inspired restaurant that serves bibimbap in this manner. What sets K Fresh aside is the authentic options they offer that are just like what one would find Korean restaurants. Plus, they offer some interesting renditions of their own to their protein selections that I have not seen in other Korean-owned restaurants. The owners of this restaurant are both friendly and very thoughtful by offering vegetarian and gluten-free options to their clientele. K Fresh is certainly not a franchise (to my knowledge). Nor does it taste like a franchise! It has the atmosphere and savor of reality, made on-site. A restaurant such as this is a risky venture in an area like Everett where authentic Asian food is less frequented by locals. I'm so glad the owners chose to take this chance. In terms of COVID-19 practices, the owners comply with precautions by wearing masks and gloves in addition to having a plexiglass barrier at the counter. How was my experience? Delicious! K Fresh's kimchi was enjoyable -- not too spicy for a guy who avoids spice. I also added to my coconut chicken their Korean spinach, a zuchini topping, egg, and a cucumber topping. All had tasty authentic flavors. If you're tired of the average Everett humdrum, or if you have been meaning to try Korean food but felt you needed a Korean friend to take you, please stop by K Fresh. So I go to this restaurant alot, I would say atleast once a week. This past wednesday I picked up a bowl to go and im not sure which ingrediant was bad but Igot really bad food poisoning and was left on the toilet overnight with vomit and diarrhea combo and rushing to toilets every 30 minutes to an hour the following days. It is now sunday and I finally feel okay enough to have normal meals. I lost about 5 pounds in the process. If anyone is wondering ingrediants, white rice, glass noodles, kimchi, bean sprouts, beef, egg and green onions. It's good, but I'm not a fan of places where they don't have recommendations. It's always a crap-shoot whether you'll like what you choose, and that's not the restaurant's fault. But I go to a place to experience what they have to offer, not to have to decide on stuff I never tried before. I'd recommend they start getting 3-5 recommended bowls, alongside offering what they do to the adventurous. That way people can really get what the place is all about the first time, and for subsequent visits, you can try new combinations. read more

Man this stuff slaps! You gotta try it out. Hot bowl is definitely the way to go. Hot & crackling, tasty af! Whoever made the ingredients, sandwich, bread, etc., made ART. 2/10 for the price but 20/10 for the sandwich alone. I'll just consider the $20 an artists fee and that's good enough for me!

Katsu used to be super lightly breaded and pretty authentic, but tonight it was dry, way too overly breaded, and fried until hard and crunchy. Breading was thicker than chicken. Other teriyaki dishes were also dry and overdone but not properly charred, and the sauce nowhere near as rich and complementary. Yakisoba color looked raw and was mostly vegetables rather than noodles. I come on here to check for updates, and the other recent comment about new owners changing things around made it all made sense. I'm so, so saddened and disappointed, as this was some of the best teriyaki in the area, and the old couple who ran it were always super nice. If things don't turn around, it would only be right for me to stop recommending this place to the countless people I've told about it over the years, in person, to friends, on Reddit and social, etc.

I'm assuming she is one of the owners... but she took over and kept him preoccupied while I was able to eat my meal while it was still hot. (Which is a rarity for a mom). She went above and beyond to help me enjoy my meal with my family and friends. I will never forget this act of kindness... it really takes a village. So thank you for giving me a great dining experience. (I would have normally spent the time outside with him and would eat my meal on the go to avoid annoying others around me.) so this new mom wanted to take the time to acknowledge the kindness and patience that was shown to my son and I. Had Pad se ew, pineapple fried rice, massuman curry & crab Rangoons. Pineapple curry was probably the best dish but each dish felt overloaded with oil and very lacking in seasoning/flavor. The curry especially was a let down. It was mostly the most liquid soupy curry I've ever had, very little in terms of substance; meat/veg. The price was good but I don't think we will be returning... I'd rather go to Thai Waterside in Mukilteo and get truly flavorful food.
