Kimbap and fried chicken combo
Christine L.

This pick up and go shop is friendly and welcoming. I would pick up lunch whenever I crave for some kimbap or the ttobokki. They have many different selections of kimbap to choose from. Original, beef bulgogi, spicy pork, tuna, egg roll, etc. I love their kimbaps or the fried chicken plus kimbap combo for some variety. If you order the fried chicken, they have many sauce selection as well. I would definitely recommend this cute little pick up and go place. During summer time, they set up some tables and chairs for you to sit outside and eat.

found this place by accident. pictures of the food looks yummy. ordered: 1. spicy boneless chicken (gojujang mixed with chili oil) 2. cheese powder mixed with truffle cream 3. tuna gimbap 4. spicy pork gimbap boneless chicken are so good.the flavor truly hits the spot. sauce is not overpowering. the spicy sauce is different from typical korean spicy sauce. the truffle cream sauce is also unique. i ate so many korean fried chicken from different places, but flavor is all about the same. but this 2 flavors are definitely different(and i havent seen it in other stores). the breading is just right (light). and this review is after waiting for 30min delivery. gimbap is gimbap. i ordered them not to expect wow flavor, but to fill me up. lol. the only con: no pickles provided. in other places, usually this comes with the dish (by default). overall, highly recommended. this is my 2nd time eating there. 1st time, i ordered spicy chicken and eat it fresh at the store. same quality for both at the store vs delivery.

We came across this shop last time we were at the mall and decided to come back for their special. There was a special of 10 chicken wings including a pop for $9.95 and there's a choice of sauce: original red, gang jeong, curry salt, truffle cheese or honey soy garlic. We went with gang jeong and assured that it wouldn't be super spicy. We also ordered the original gimbap that comes with 10 pieces and a small order of the boneless chicken legs. I appreciated that the plastic lid for the chicken had a portion cut out to prevent the food in the container from getting soggy. The shop is essentially just the kitchen and cash with a fridge for pop and a washroom on the side. Everything was made fresh and the wait wasn't too long. The gang jeong sauce was very bold and flavourful. We thought that the honey soy garlic sauce tasted too much of soy sauce and not sweet like what you usually get with honey garlic. There was a nice surprise of a few pieces of rice cakes with the chicken. The outside of the rice cakes were a tad bit hard though. The gimbap was great and very filling. I'd love to try the bulgogi sandwich and bulgogi cheese fries next time.

Bulgogi Cheese Fries ($9.95)

A nice place to get some takeout! We were looking for something quick and light and this was definitely a good choice. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered bulgogi cheese fries and grabbed one of the prepackaged gimbaps. From ordering to walking back to the food court to finishing eating, took less than 25 minutes all together. I really enjoyed their bulgogi cheese fries. The first couple bites were super delicious! The fries were crispy and the meat was so flavourful. However I thought there was too much sauce so it became really salty as you ate more. If it was a little less salty, this would have been a solid 5 stars for me. For the gimbap, we ordered spicy pork but made the mistake of eating the fries first, so I didn't taste any spice. It was still enjoyable even as a pork gimbap though. Overall, a great place for a quick bite and if I'm in the area would definitely like to try their other menu items as well!

I ordered a honey soy garlic fried chicken, bulgogi gimbap, and a wasabi fish cake gimbap - the gimbaps were stuffed with a generous amount of ingredients but personally, I enjoyed the bulgogi one better because it was more flavourful. The wasabi fish one seemed to be lacking in complexity and I could only taste the small dollop of wasabi mayo. The fried chicken was tasty and I liked that they added a few pieces of tteokbokki in there as well. Definitely a good on-the-run snack option whenever I'm in the area.

We finally decided to try this place out. When we arrived, it was quite busy. It had an open kitchen concept where you can see everything they make while you wait for your order. We ordered the regular gimbap, creamy crab egg gimbap, bulgogi sandwich and Korean fried chicken. Everything was made fresh and I really enjoyed the food. The bulgogi sandwich was very flavourful however I wished there were more bulgogi. There was also a very strong mustard taste which I wasn't a huge fan of. It was a decent sandwich however I wouldn't order it again. Korean fried chicken (original red)- very flavourful and the skin was crispy. Overall, the chicken was very saucy and perfect amount of spice. My favourite is probably the creamy crab egg gimbap. It was my first time having gimbap with egg and I like the flavour and texture. If you like egg, you will like this one. The only thing I would suggest is to have a dipping sauce with it. I'll definitely come back and try other food items on the menu!

Boneless Gangjeong KFC + Bulgogi Kimbap

One of the best and affordable korean spots in the GTA! K-food Kitchen is located at centrepoint mall right beside Canadian Tire's main entrance facing Steeles Ave. My go to orders is their korean fried chicken particularly their medium sized gangjeong and honey soy garlic which costs $16.95 + tax. They are super fresh and crunchy. They have various types of KFC such as original red (gochujang), truffle cheese, curry salt and salt & pepper! Another dish to get is their egg kimbap!! I get their creamy crab egg kimbap ($9.95 + tax) which is 8pcs.

Have been meaning to try this place, but never had the chance to...until yesterday! And boy was I glad I finally did! Easy online ordering system -- I was able to order online, hassle-free! Okay, so the food: I absolutely love their rice-less gimbap! It's definitely a nice alternative when you are looking to avoid eating rice. I did order their $17 gimbap combo -- and that was also very good! Super tasty and fresh -- again, jam-packed with ingredients, unlike some other establishments where rice dominates. Next: the two rice bowls. The bimbimbap was good -- nice to see interesting veggies like wood ear mushrooms! The only reason why I gave 4/5 stars is because I found the beef bulgogi rice was a bit small in terms of portion size. If I could give this restaurant a 4.5, I definitely would! Service was speedy and the staff were very friendly! Will be returning to check out some of their other items!

I stumbled across K-food Kitchen just when we are on our way to head into Canadian Tire at Centrepoint Mall. There are no seatings inside, you can buy take out or buy it and eat it at the foodcourt. We ordered the Red Original and even when I am super full. It tasted so good. The sauce was delicious and not spicy. It didn't feel heavy at all. They have a few pieces of rice cake with the chicken. Besides from Korean fried chicken, they have Gimbap- a Korean dish made from cooked rice and ingredients such as vegetables, fish and meats that are rolled in gim--dried sheets of seaweed. Definitely will come back to try other items on the menu!

We don't go to CenterPoint Mall often, but had to run a few errands. We were surprised to see K Food Kitchen which seems fairly new - they opened in the summer. There was a lunch rush, so we decided to see what they had to offer. They have a large menu from kimbap, korean fried chicken, sandwiches, rice dishes and more. For about $7, we tried the Kimbap and it was delicious! We'll for sure come back and try the other food items. Staff was very friendly and quick.

Korean Fried Chicken Wings - Gangjeong ($12.95)
The Yum Report ..

If you enjoy Korean food but prefer a quick service style restaurant, K-Food Kitchen located at Centerpoint Mall is a great place to visit. Offering fried chicken, gimbap, rice bowl and even maki rolls. Their fried chicken can be either boneless or wings and with 6 sauces to pick from. We had their small wings with gangjeong which came with 10 wings. The wings were crispy and the sauce had a balance of both heat and sweetness. As a bonus, also included few pieces of small rice cake. For the gimbap, we tried the wasabi pepper - which had fish cake, egg, pepper and wasabi mayo sauce. The gimbap was average, nothing out of the ordinary. Korean Fried Chicken Wings - Gangjeong ($12.95) Wasabi Pepper Gimbap ($6.95) @KFoodKitchenTO Price Range: $1.95 - $28.95 IG: #The_Yum_Report

It's kind of a funny story how I discovered Burger Park. I was driving on the highway one day,…read morespotted their giant sign, and thought, what is that? I remembered to look it up later and immediately bookmarked it. It was definitely giving Shake Shack vibes from the photos. I came with a friend around 6 pm, and parking was surprisingly easy thanks to the adjacent garage. They validate for 2 hours, which honestly makes a huge difference and would've otherwise been a deterrent. The space itself is cute and minimal, with a clean, modern feel. We ordered two double patty Park Burgers, a blueberry spice fruit shake, a strawberry sherbet fruit shake, and a regular fry with their house-made sauce. This meal was nearly perfect. The burgers were tender and juicy, with beautifully crisp edges on the smashed patties. Everything came out at the perfect temperature. I went with the default toppings, which were fresh, well-balanced, and generously portioned. The bun was soft and held everything together nicely. The fries were a pleasant surprise. I'm not usually a crinkle-cut fan, but these were crispy, well-seasoned, and paired perfectly with the delicious mayo-based sauce. The fruit shakes were probably my least favorite part. I was expecting something brighter and more tangy, but they leaned more mild in flavor. That said, the icy consistency was refreshing and would hit the spot on a hot day. I noticed they also offer cookies, which I didn't get to try but looked very promising. The place was quite busy, with a steady flow of dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders, but the service still stood out. We hadn't realized they use peanut oil, which was a concern since my friend has an allergy. The staff were very helpful, reassuring us that the burgers are grilled separately and even going the extra step to confirm the fries are cooked in sunflower oil. My friend was able to enjoy them without any issues, which we really appreciated. Overall, it's a bit out of the way for me, but absolutely worth the trip. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

I visited this place almost exactly one year ago to the date for a Yelp Elite event!…read more My gf and I were so impressed with it that we vowed to come back again. The first time around we tried a hot honey sando and the original chicken sando. I absolutely loved both but my gf is allergic to spicy so this time around we ordered some salmon poké tacos and a regular sized bulgogi bowl, along with a chicken sando. The original chicken sando is just as amazing as we remembered it. SUPER CRUNCHY (despite being drenched in sauce), SUPER JUICY and HUGE. I really liked how fresh the salmon poké was too. The seaweed salad was a nice complement to and the taco shells were fried perfectly. The bulgogi beef bowl was very tasty although I do wish it had a little bit more beef (although it was super pretty to look at). A regular size is still a decent amount of food altogether and the rice was yummy.

So ill give it a 4/5 Service was meh, you order at the front and then you find your own seat and pick up ur order its ready. Also minimum seats, so if you are a party more than 3, one of you may be standing No hate, its a spot not too far from yorkdale. An alternative rather than eating food court food haha~
