I can't say enough about the K&W Kitchen crew. Brandon came out to see what we wanted and drew up a plan with several different ideas. We were told our kitchen remodel will take 2 weeks. The crew showed up wearing masks and they started working right away. At the end of the day they always cleaned up and the next day started all over again. Our cabinets are beautiful and the counter matches perfectly. My kitchen remodel was finished in 2 weeks just like they said. Here it is 3 years since the work was done and I am not very happy. The grout that was put in with the kitchen back splash is no good, there are holes in it and he never came back to fix the color as promised. The finish on the kitchen cabinets is coming off in places and the bottom trim under them is coming off. The flooring is starting to warp in the seams. Pulled out my stove to clean and they never finished a piece of the flooring underneath it. Also, behind the stove is missing a piece of back splash. And, for reason or another there is a complete piece of the back splash attached to the lower middle of the wall. The kitchen faucet doesn't work appropriately. I guess this is why there was only a year warranty. read more

As with many journeys there were a few bumps and potholes in the road to overcome before we reached our final destination, a beautiful and functional kitchen. Brandon and the whole crew handled the design, material choices, demolition and construction with a cheerful and professional attitude. 99.9% of the job was completed in the two week window that Brandon had predicted. When our decrepit ancient garbage disposal bit the dust, Hubby and I reached the limits of our vintage forty-two year old worn-out kitchen cabinets and butcher block style Formica countertops. During the estimate process, we met the previous owner, Mark, earlier this year and felt uneasy after reading Mark's old Yelp reviews. Then last August Hubby met the new owner, Brandon, who impressed Hubby. I checked Yelp on my laptop, and found multiple recent glowing five star reviews hidden from my smartphone app, located under the "other reviews not currently recommended" tab. Now if you follow me on social media, impressing Hubby occurs few and far between. Hubby quickly invited Brandon over to the Land of the Vistas to take measurements and provide an estimate on the spot. Bright and early the next day, August 13th to be exact, we visited the shop on Railroad Avenue in Suisun City and met Laura, then perused their selection of woods and stains, and signed a contract for custom cabinets, new countertops that would be fabricated at their shop, faucet, sink, garbage disposal, the works, except we elected to keep our almost new tile floor. Brandon scheduled the job for the week commencing October 15th. The crew, donned in matching K&W Kitchens tee shirts, marched through our door at eight in the morning sharp and protected our tile and carpets. Two hours later the old kitchen was gone. By lunch, three out of five banks of new cabinetry had been installed plumbed levelled and squared. Long story short, the crew worked a full day on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday the new countertops were fabricated at their shop. The crew worked a half day Thursday to install the new countertops, and returned for a half day on Friday to finish connecting the plumbing and complete the finishing touches. Now the K&W Kitchens crew, consisting of Ron, Vince, Mario, Rudy, and Carlos, were professionals. They've worked together for years, and their experience shows as their movements flowed seamlessly as a finely choreographed dance. Everyone knew what to do, stayed out of each other's way, spoke softly when needed and stayed busy as they displayed the epitome of time management skills. When a tool was needed from the van, a worker walked to the front door, then ran to the van, grabbed the tool, ran back to the front door, and walked inside. Plus, not once did a crew member leave during the workday to run to the hardware store or shop for a forgotten item. Amazing. The result? Our kitchen is perfect: From the hinges to the knobs; from the cherry wood to the rich brown mahogany stain; from the countertops to the sink. Our kitchen was out of commission for a total of five mere days, not for a reface mind you, but for a complete custom cabinet replacement. We had our kitchen done 10 years ago, no complaints. We were told we had lifetime touch up on the cabinet finish. I contacted them recently because I needed a hole cut in the bottom of the island to access the outlet located below. I was told it is under new ownership and they do not deal with any customers prior to the new owner taking over. I was told they won't even cut the hole out. I was told to try a handyman. They will do nothing for cabinet touch up either. So disappointing. I used to highly recommend K.W. Kitchens to friends but I won't going forward. I was ready to pay for their services because I don't expect the new owner to do it for nothing but they didn't want anything to do with work done by previous owner. read more

I'm loving my new kitchen remodel by K&W Kitchens, Inc. Brandon (the owner) and Laura were so helpful in choosing/planning the look of my new cabinets and granite countertops. They were very knowledgeable about types of wood, durability, etc., and equally knowledgeable about countertop choices. Brandon also made recommendations for the design of my backsplash and helped me choose the stone and glass tiles. I took his advice and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. I'm no expert and they are very new, but these cabinets appear to be really well built--sturdy, strong with easy glide drawers and high quality door joints. Laura helped me to get great choices/prices on my new appliances by connecting me with their supplier as well. Ron and work crews were very prompt, neat, courteous and friendly during the tear down and the-build. I was especially impressed with Brandon's willingness to be flexible and change something when I changed my mind on a part of the project--they just changed it so I would love it! And...I do!! Look at my before and after photos! Tip: look for the most current yelp reviews--for whatever reason, these appear to be hidden on the next page? with the older reviews from 3 and 4 years ago on cover page??? When considering K&W Kitchens (or any other contractor) we suggest that you go to CSLB.ca.gov or just Google CSLB. On the "Check License" tab, type in name of the contractor or better yet their license. In this case K&W License # 569472 and look for "Complaint disclosure." Clicking on that will tell you if the Contractor has complaints or Citations. There should not be any or the CSLB may take away the Contractor's license as in the case of Richard Edick, License #584785 (K&W sub contractor,) or in the case of K&W we have been told that the CSLB is preparing to do the same. If you click on the "Complaints," and "Citations" it will tell you what they are for. This CSLB page also gives you insight into what the Contractor is licensed to do (and only do.) In the case of K&W Kitchens, that is Cabinets and contertops. Find another Contractor! read more

Contacted today 3/20/14 to estimate for kitchen remodel. Didn't even want to come out to do an estimate.

Very poor construction and customer care. Several cabinets made incorrectly and no compensation was given. The roll-out drawers are very poor quality. The cabinets delaminated after 5 years and the owner refused to stand behind his initial warranty. Home owner beware of this contractor. By far the worse sub-contractor we hired in construction of our custom home. read more

To say K & W Kitchens do an outstanding job is an understatement. Mark and his crew are friendly, thorough, professional and do very quality work. Mark provided great advice to us in the material, style and design. They go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure everything was A-OK. Ron, Vince and Rudy who did the work on our kitchen and bath remodel are unbelievably good. They arrived on time and did the extra things to ensure a quality job. Laura in the office is tremendous and helped us select our new appliances and get them delivered. Not only that since most of the appliances now come without owner's manuals she downloaded the manuals off the internet and provided them to us without our asking. We just completed a recent remodel of our kitchen in September 2015. From the start Mark and crew was great to work with. Mark came out to our home twice and provided estimates and feedback to help guide our selection of a contractor and also explore options of reconfiguring our kitchen. At no time was there any pressure to make any decisions or move quickly through our selection process. Mark was very up front about what he could and couldn't do and in every situation that he "couldn't" the reason was because he was not confident in the product or method of construction and couldn't provide a warranty for the product. We appreciate that! Mark is an old school contractor and drives to provide the best quality product that he can. Detailed measurements, drawings done by hand, all the woodwork was hand selected, grain matched, and completed locally in Suisun! Mark was very accommodating of our many questions and was even willing to let us stop in the shop and take a peak at the cabinets while in construction. Mark realized that we are a young family and limited by certain budget constraints, but worked very hard to provide a guidance that allowed us to stay within budget while still modernizing a space in our home that will remain "in style" for years to come. Whenever you do a project like this in your home there are certain things that only the pros think of...well I think Mark thought of them all! When we completed the demo of the kitchen we started to think of a few questions we had like edge moldings, knob and handle locations, swing of cabinets, etc. Mark had them all covered. He built in flexibility in the installation to allow for minor tweaks and customization of details. He even surprised us with a window sill installed to match the new countertop! This was a details that adds great appeal to the kitchen but never anything we discussed. When we asked about it Mark just said "well you gotta have it!" We've already got a list of other projects for K&W to help with in our home. Based on our first experience we know we'll be taken care of and provided a high quality work product along with great attention to detail and customer service. If you are considering a kitchen or bathroom remodel I'd highly recommend giving K&W and opportunity. read more
