0 Star I would strongly recommend being careful with this company. My experience with KD Tree Services was extremely disappointing. They came out to my property, looked at the work that needed to be done, and gave me a price quote. Based on that quote, I agreed to have them do the job. We were under the impression that everything was agreed upon and that they were coming to complete the work. When the father came to start the job, his attitude was completely different. He was dismissive and disrespectful and basically told me that they were not going to do the job for the price they had originally quoted me and other work to get to. If you give a customer a quote after seeing the job in person, that price should mean something. If the company changes its mind about the price when they're ready to start, that's something that should be communicated professionally--not handled with an attitude after the customer has already agreed to move forward. My issue isn't simply about the price. It's about honoring the quote, communication, and treating customers with respect. Watch out and make sure you get everything in writing before agreeing to anything with KD Tree Services. I personally will not be using them. read more

I have used K & D Tree Masters 3 times now to remove trees in my backyard as well as in my front yard, and each time it was a great experience. This last time, we called during the winter when it was an off time for tree removal and was told that we would be in the schedule for when it got a little bit warmer. They called the day before to let us know they were coming and the next morning they showed up, took the tree out of the ground, root and all, and it was done so quickly and professionally. I wanted them to watch out for my rose bushes and they made sure they weren't touched in the removal process. They are extremely reliable and their pricing is extremely reasonable as well. We spoke to a person name Kevin who arranged to come and look at a large partially dead oak tree that needed to be removed in front of my house. I was given an excellent price and two weeks later it was removed and it was like it was never even there. I highly recommend them they gave us the best price out of everyone we called. I used K&D Tree Masters for firewood. The price was good and the wood also well seasoned. Delivery was quick. The problem was the 300lbs of dirt and rock that was under the wood. They were not so fast to respond to my several calls regarding the extra product they left in my driveway( actually never returned my calls). I had to load and take the 300LBs of crap to the dump. K&D exhibited one of the most arrogantly disrespectful customer service we've ever dealt with, talking down to my wife and hanging up on her in the middle of what she mistook as a conversation.
