This past Saturday we used Dank The Tree Experts to Trim and top 8 large trees on our property. We have been using them for over 10 years and they have always done a great job. They sent 6 men to do the job and they worked straight thru for almost 5 hours and did a great job cleaning up. You would have never known they were there. the price they quote is the price you pay and since tree trimming is based on what you think you want the trees to look like things do change. They did everything we wanted as to changes and the price stayed the same. And best of all. After they finished and left, my wife realized that one tree did not look like what she thought. If I could give zero stars I would. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. The workers peed on the side of our house and left a stain. The workers also broke our patio, and used our hose without permission and subsequently forgot to turn the hose off, resulting in the hose being on for over 24 hours and some water getting into our basement. There are also still some roots from the tree in our yard on the gross that they didn't take up. We called three times about this with no response other than speaking with the secretary. We tipped very generously too and would honestly just like our tip money refunded considering they caused a leak into our home, defaced our property and wrecked our patio. When I called them inquiring about a delivery of a face cord I specifically asked if the wood they deliver is seasoned. Seasoned wood is wood that is allowed to air dry for...a season. It allows the excess moisture from the wood to evaporate leaving a drier, proper burning wood. As the website says, and as I was advised when I called, their wood delivery is seasoned. After I got my delivery and attempted to use some of the logs I found they were saturated and won't be ready until next year. They might be good at tree removal, I can't speak on that aspect of their business, but I can say you should look elsewhere if you want a delivery of good, dry, seasoned wood. I hired them to trim the lower branches of a large maple, in order to, neaten the tree up and prepare for hurricane season. Instead, they trimmed high on one side of the tree, leaving it unbalanced. I saw where a cut was made that shouldn't have been and I can understand mistakes happen. They offered to reduce the price of the job by $100 eventually reducing the price by $200. After closer inspection, it wasn't a mistake but complete incompetence. It wasn't one stray cut but several cuts all the way to the top of the tree. Whats more perplexing, they cut perfectly healthy limbs and didn't cut the dead branches. There are still low hanging limbs that I'd prefer were gone, but once I realized the damage I wanted them out and it over. I feel now as though I paid them to ruin a beautiful tree. They also damaged my fence gate as they dragged limbs out of my backyard. read more
