I have been getting pedicures here for a long time and about a year ago started doing SNS on my nails. As I've gotten older my nails crack and split super easy. SNS is the only way to make to get strong nails. Andy does an amazing job and my nails always look beautiful. This place is small but they have the best hospitality! I had just moved to the northwest part of Austin and had give up the salon that did my nails on a regular basis. I tend to be a little picky. This place had a very small variety of colors of shellac but I tried them anyway. I have been going there for 6 months now never disappointed. They always offer me beverages. I always select a color then adds sparkles to it. The lady knowing this bought 3 more color with sparkles in it. They are decent price and take their time on the service they give you. They also use a punch card system so that you can get a discount every so many services. This place seems to be pretty new so buisness seems slow at this point so it tends to be real quite with nice relaxing music. Most the time I am fighting now sleeping I am so relax. Worst customer service experience at C&K Nails. The gel polish on my toe nail cracked so I went back for it to be repaired. I picked the nail polish from the wall, handed it to the woman assisting me and she misplaced it. Another woman painted my one toe nail a different color. When I told them I wasn't Ok with having one toe nail a different color from all my other nails, the supervisor argued with me, addressed me in a totally inappropriate demeanor as they had me looking for the bottle of polish they lost. All while 4 of the employees (the one that lost the polish, the one that painted my toe a different color, and two that spoke English and weren't even present when their employee lost the polish) argued with me, telling me I never handed them the nail polish. Totally incompetent staff and the way the supervisor treated me in response to their own employees' multiple errors was completely inappropriate and uncomfortable. Never going there again. read more

I've been here 8 times. It's an ok salon in a convenient location but inconsistent. And I won't return again. This time she did a terrible job and rushed the entire time. None of my nails are the same length or shape. 4 of my nails were damaged by filing the top of the nail and from her rushing to clip them in one clip. I waited for 30 min for this experience and paid full price. But I didn't get the full experience. It was nearly $60, for a gel mani and standard pedi. My advice, don't bother coming here when they're busy if you want a quality, relaxing mani pedi. read more

If you're looking to get a cheap quick be pedicure, this is your spot. If you're looking for a little bit of pampering look elsewhere. The smell of chemicals was overwhelming and I felt let my nail tech was just phoning it in. It was an adiquate pedicure with a minor burn from the towel. The lady with the short hair - BEWARE. I got a pedicure here, which was fine. They have complementary snacks here, which is nice. But the thing I couldn't get over is that the woman doing my nails kept trying to get me to hold my own leg up in the air very high while she was scrubbing my feet. NO. You hold the weight of my leg yourself just like every other salon in America. It hurt my leg so bad that I resorted to resting it against the edge of the chair; however, she then got mad and would force my leg up in the air. *My leg does not have to be levitating for you to scrub the BOTTOM of my feet. If you have a problem with me refusing to do something that is hurting me, that's your problem. You're the one servicing me. You're the one on the clock. I'm not going to do your work for you while at a place where I'm supposed to be getting pampered.* SO unprofessional! And the worst part was her ATTITUDE when I told her it was hurting me. They both took their times to work on our feet. My husband enjoyed his pedicure so much that he wanted to come with me every month now. They offered free beverages and snacks. This is my new go-to nail salon. The place is very clean and neat. A spa pedicure, which includes hot towels, a leg massage, and sugar scrub is only $24. They can do tons of different nail art for an extra $5. They offer drinks such as water, soda, and wine. Some technicians are friendlier than others, which is why I give them 4 stars and not 5. So impressed with this place! As soon as I walked in I noticed how clean the establishment was. I was immediately greeted and sat with Gus to get a shellac manicure. I was offered a glass of wine or a soda and I took a chilled bottled water. They also offered snacks and had free wifi so I assumed that it was going to be very pricey. The job I got was immaculate and I was shocked to find out how inexpensive it was. When I talked to the owner to compliment her she told me they also do a Tuesday "happy hour" special when prices are even cheaper. So, I was finally able to convince my boyfriend to get a pedicure while I go and get my shellac mani done. We live close to C&K so gave it a shot. Lan did my manicure and I was disappointed, however Kim came over and fixed all of the errors, lumps and cleaned up the areas where Lan glued my skin to my nail. After Kim did her magic, my nails looked great! It's been 1.5 weeks and they still are perfect. The boyfriend enjoyed his time in the chair and was almost a convert...then we noticed the top of his big toes started to hurt on the way home. In an effort to clear his manly callouses, the pedicurist ended up removing too much of his skin. By the end of the night we were putting on neosporin to help with the bleeding/sore toes. I was upset enough to go in and show them what they'd done, however the b/f said to "let it go" and not use them ever again. Sigh, at least I can share the experience to Yelp folks. I gave them 2 stars since Kim was able to rescue my mani at least. read more

After I received some good reviews online I came here on the day of my wedding since I procrastinated until the last minute to get my nails done. When I walked in everybody was nice then once I sat down and the woman started doing my nails she was not even trying to make my nails look alike. I have never had such a TERRIBLE manicure on my wedding day!!!! I got an acrylic set, which I never do, and asked for them to be short and look natural. I have gotten pedicures here on several occasions and always been very happy. I was needing a SNS fill and figured I'd try them for this as well. I was a bit hesitant when Andy told me he was going to do them with the new wet method and they would last longer. They did not. I had my first set put on at another salon and they lasted 20 days before any came off. This time with the fill done the 'wet' method way they were starting to become loose within 5 days and the first one popped off on day 8, 2nd on day 10. Plus my under nails look horrible, which wasn't the case with the first set. I will not be going back here for SNS nails. read more

I get a pedicure every month and I like trying new places occasionally. I came across this place and will never come back. The service was poor and the quality wasn't good either. I'd stay away from the older Asian man as he did an awful job on my pedicure. My large toe nail wasn't even straight and the nail polish was not applied properly. You'd think that people working in a nail salon would know how to file a nail in a straight line. He was extremely rude and didn't care for pleasing his customers. He asked if I wanted the deluxe pedicure and got offended after I said no. That's when he rushed through and finished the pedicure. My shellac manicure started chipping 2 days after.
