AC Repair Service. Steve of Justin Time was referred to us by a friend as a good HVAC technician. It took Steve less than an hour this morning to correctly diagnose and fix an issue which prevented our system from operating. A previous technician (from another LV area AC Repair company) was scheduled to return for a 3rd visit today and continue swapping parts in hopes of finding the problem (not likely, but expensive!). At first we had some scheduling issues, I waited over 4 hours past the time frame given. I guess the technician had my phone number transposed from the office and that Is why he couldn't reach me. Since they were late in getting to my house, they cannot get approval today to replace the compressor. They told me that they would do it Monday before I leave on my trip once they get approval. It is now Monday, the technician did show up and is replacing the compressor. The technician seems to be doing a good job, he is very nice. Besides the deductible the company is charging me $140 extra to replace the connectors from the compressor to the A/C unit. I would think this would be included. Since the technician had to remove the fittings with a blow torch, from the factory and would have had to put connectors on anyways, there is really no extra work to put the correct fittings on, there should not be an extra charge. They even wanted to charge me more to bleed and flush the lines, but I called the warranty company and they backed down. At this point, it's not worth fighting it. It's probably as simple as the companies that do Home Warranty work must have to offer such a low price in order to get contract work that they have to make it up on the back end. I don't fault anyone for trying to make a decent living. I really should be blaming First American Home Warranty. read more

Here's my experience with Justin Time. On February 12, 2016, I was driving near the Hard Rock (NB Swenson turning WB Harmon) when the driver of a truck with Justin Time and their phone number plastered all over its side decided he wanted to be in the lane I was in and when he didn't get into my lane the person in the passenger side rolled down his window and spit on my car. The driver then attempted to ram his truck into my car and then, after forcing his way in front of me, attempted to get me to hit him by brake checking me and slowing down. When I tried to get around him he swerved to prevent me from doing so. When I finally managed to move into the left lane the driver pulled alongside my car with his window rolled down, screaming obscenities and spitting toward my car. This continued until we got to Koval, where he turned right and I continued west. I called the company to explain what happened and asked for an apology. 100% professional! These guys were so great to work with. We have had AC issues for over a month during the 115 degree heat. We had to suffer through 2 extremely unprofessional AC companies before we got to work with Just In Time. One of the companies misdiagnosed our AC issue twice! One of the OTHER companies no called/ no showed on us 3 times! When Just In Time was assigned to our home, I received a call to set up the appointment. My technician, Kai called me before his arrival. He allowed me enough time to leave work and meet him at the house. He took initiative to start the inspection to help me save time. We ended up needing a new compressor. Rebecca called to set up my time frame for the install. She was super friendly on the phone. Kai called me to update me on the service. Ultimately, Steve was my technician that came out to take care of the repair. He was very thorough and now we finally have cool air in our HOME! Rebecca, Kai, and Steve were great to work with. I don't usually give 5 stars, ever, as it takes 1000% service for me to give 100% rating. This company and Robin, really care about their clients. We had a water heater issue stemming from last year and needed to get it signed off. Robin sent Mr. Diaz out to us, he spent over 3+ hours fixing a HUGE mistake another company made, and we got the sign off!! We called him back to install a new kitchen faucet; called same day, he came out and in about 1 hour, DONE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company (PS the other company, Easy Flow Plumbing IS OUT OF BUSINESS AND TOOK ADVANTAGE OF US MONETARILY-NOT AT ALL HAPPY)..and, Robin called to make sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. We went through our Home Warranty and were actually provided a separate contractor. The other contractor didn't seem to understand the urgency in getting our AC fixed TODAY as it is 107 degrees out and we have animals and young children in our household. After combating the insurance company. They assigned Just in time and they were able to get someone to us within hours and were here for a matter of 30 minutes. The absolute worst business I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Our A/C went out on Thursday, and we were assigned Justin Time as our service contractor through our warranty company. They originally said they would be there Saturday between 11-5, so we called the warranty co. first thing Friday morning to see if we could get it bumped to an emergency service and get someone out immediately since we have pets and the temp in the house was 99 degrees. They couldn't find anyone who could be there before Saturday so we decided to stick with Justin Time since it was already set up. Then, lo and behold, Justin Time calls us and says they will actually get to it that day, after 3. Great! We have two people waiting for hours in the hot house for the technician to show up. Never does, and never calls. And Justin Time is completely unreachable after 4 pm, when they go home. Their machine says to just wait for the technician. Wonderful. Saturday someone waits all day long at the house for the original appointment. No one ever shows up. And Justin Time is unreachable Saturdays. Just the same message on the machine to wait for the technician. Monday morning we finally speak to someone at the office and they promise someone will show up that day. The technician Armando finally calls me after 3, asking if someone is home. I tell him someone will be there in 10 minutes. 8 minutes later, we are there and discover one of our pet guinea pigs has died from the heat. We tried cooling them off as best as possible but failed. I am now furious, but we continue to wait for Armando, who NEVER SHOWS UP. On Tuesday we call the warranty co. again to get a new contractor. They put us on hold while they call Justin Time to find out what happened. These people actually tell the warranty company that they went to our house three different days, and no one was ever home, and that they waited 45 minutes for us the last time, and that we were lucky they didn't charge US for no-shows!! They had five different phone numbers for us (mine, my gf, brother, dad, and friend). You're telling me they waited 45 minutes but never tried calling any of us? Also, that last time when they say they waited, I had the number that the tech Armando called me from, and I tried calling him three times within that 45 minute window, as well as trying their office, because I was so angry about the death of our pet. The warranty co. believed us, of course, gave us a credit to buy a window unit to get us through the day, and now I am waiting for another contractor to come and check out our A/C. Dealing with Justin Time has been a nightmare, from the no shows to the lies that they told the warranty company. Maybe it's the technician lying to the office about how he was spending his time, I don't know, but either way, I recommend running the other way from Justin Time as fast as you can. I just had a tech out to repair my ac unit on arrival he was already past the time he had given us for the day. He said 8-1 and he would try to make it around 8 well that came and went then 9-10-11-12-1 still not here we called and they were have a problem. Finally shows up around 2 "fixes" the unit it's working thanks my kids won't have to spend another night in a 93 degree house. Nope and hot or so goes by and the temp is rising again. It's back up to 92. So far I am very unhappy with this company. read more

14 days without AC in 110 degree temperatures? First the guy was over 2 hours late. And when you call the office after 11 am don't expect to get to talk to a person, or to have someone answer your message. I was told 10-3, he claims he had 1-6. Then he just wanted to put more freon in and leave, not bothering to look for the leak. Since there is no freon in the system, obviously there is a leak. Has to come back again to look for the leak. Wait again, for another 5 hours for someone to show up, and after 2 phone calls because it is already at the end of his 5 hour window, he finally shows up. Then he finally finds the leak, but has the call his "buddy" (he doesn't call the company he works for) who says you can't weld aluminum, so they will have to put a new coil in or a whole new unit. I call the next day to find out what they are going to do, they are looking for someone who can weld aluminum. They will get back to me. Then I suddenly 3 days later, get a phone call that they will be at my house in 30 minutes to weld the coil, but nobody ever told me that they were even coming. I had to scramble to get someone over to my house to let them in, since I was at work and couldn't just drop everything and run home. Horrible communication on their party. Can't bother to answer their phone or return a phone call. Charging an extra $400 for a Line Set Flush, Refrigerant Recovery & Disposal that is included in any leak detection and repair, but if you have a home warranty it is an additional charge. Save yourself the headache, don't use this company and don't get a home warranty. Not Worth It! read more

Had a tech out today to fix my a.c.. First he said my capacitor wasn't working, then said he adjusted the relay, then said the capacitor was loose and everything was fixed. My a.c. is still not working. The technician showed up to my home in an unmarked white truck, didn't put shoe covers on while walking on my carpet. Got them through American home warranty. I'll try to keep this short- Placed a service request with First American Home Warranty (FAHW) Got a call from Justin Time (also shown as Just in Time or JUSTin Time) from here on know as JIT, that same day. Said they be there the next day between 8-11 am. They were. So far so good. Said it was the motherboard and needed authorization. They called me the next day and said that they could have the new board installed by Monday. They also said there would be a $140 "modification" charge. They said the mod charge was because the OEM board was no longer made and they would have to modify an aftermarket board to work. After hours on the phone with FAHW trying find out why they were allowing this charge, the final answer- JIT could charge me anything it wanted. So bottom line, the replacement part for this unit is no longer made, right? WRONG! After doing some research, trying to figure out my model#, (the data sticker on my unit in the attic somehow vanished), I found out that the OEM board still exists and can be obtain for $190 plus tax. I called FAHW back and told them what I found out. They said they would call me back after talking to JIT. Meanwhile, in effort to find out how available this part was, my obviously incredible google skills uncovered an authorized Lennox parts dealer, right here in Las Vegas! AND they had the board in stock. OK, get this, this is where it gets good. FAHW calls me back and says that what JIT really meant was, it would take 4 weeks to get that part from Lennox. WRONG! IF they were walking, it might take one week. But lets keep this short. I told FAHW that I no longer wanted this company doing any work on my house. FAHW was adamant that JIT could do the job. What would you do? I called Elite Heating and Air, told them the situation. Sent pictures of the board and unit. Guess what? Inside of 2 hours I was up and running (Rudy is the Man!). Less time than I spent on the phone arguing with FAHW. By the way, here's the real kick in the ----, FAHW explained that since I went outside their approved contractors, the unit I had fixed was no longer covered under my warranty. Big deal, they are so fired anyway! BTW, check out the other review by Joe S, also in Henderson. He had a different problem with his unit and guess what? Our air went out on the 29th of June 2015,(hottest month in Nevada history),Our home warranty company couldnt get them out for 4 days,when the tech finally shows up on Friday,July 3rd, its after 5 and he cant order the compressor until Monday,July 6,they will order it next day and promised I would have air on Tuesday,July 7 by 9 am! I was told I was first on the service list!Well,the overnight order was a lie,having air by Tuesday was a lie,being first on the work list was a lie! They finally showed up on Wednesday,July 8,at 6 30 pm with the wrong compressor! The tech claimed he was given the wrong part,so he would be at the place he got the "wrong part" at 7 am and would be here at my place by 8 am,and that I would have air in my condo by 9 am,Thursday July 9! This has to be the biggest joke ever pulled,or,Just in Time Air is hands down,The worst customer service business on the planet! I have tried calling them to get an explanation,only to be talked to like I have a negative 1 IQ,This company should be shut down! When all of the techs promises prove to be lies as like before,I will be picketing them with many of my friends for as many days as possible! This is the worst of the worst folks,if you expect service from them ,think again! I have never been treated by a company so terribly,and I wont ever again!
