Received a call today from a representative from Wave. They were referred to me by my home warranty and I saw the Yelp reviews so I was excited to get a legit diagnosis from their HVAC technician. The lady asked me so many questions, then said she wanted to know what the last company had to say and that she was going to call my home warranty! I followed up with my home warranty and they stated they hadn't heard from her yet. Wow, didn't know that was a thing! Well after over an hour of waiting to hear back to schedule a diagnosis, I called my home warranty and they told me Wave refused the service call. It would have been nice if she could have just called me back and explained why. My AC unit works, makes a loud screeching sound when running for a few minutes and I told her that. Yet she continued with her confusing questions. So, one star is all I can fairly give since the customer service from the beginning was vaguely present. read more

I purchased a home and 2 weeks after moving in my upstairs AC went out. Home warranty sent a company out who incorrectly diagnosed and then home warranty refused to cover. After a fight with them I managed to get them to agree to send out another company for a second option and this was assigned to Wave. Seriously this company is beyond 5 stars. I don't remember the last time I worked with a service provider in Las Vegas that was so helpful, efficient and well run. Raluca in the office is fantastic and Bogdan and Daniel are knowledgeable and just great people! They not only managed to work with my home warranty to get a new condenser approved but they also spent hours trying other things to avoid replacement first. It will be a few more days until we get the equipment installed and hoping this resolves the problem. But just had to share how happy I am that Wave got assigned this work. I've worked with a number of AC companies and it always seems like a sales pitch rather than being focused on the repair - these guys just focus on the problem and finding a solution! #1 - I hardly write reviews unless it pops up. This time, I reached out for YELP to write this review. I'm a 1st timer with Wave. Their Tech, Dante showed up. I told him what I thought the problem was, which he confirmed. I was impressed because he didn't try to pad the bill. It was obvious he gave me a fair assessment of what I needed. He did try to upsell or cross-sell me anything. I asked if Wave offered a Maintenance Agreement - which they do - and he gave me a price, which I thought was fair. After that, Dante did a complete and thorough Maintenance Check of both AC units and my attic furnace. All in all, I will go back. I will recommend Wave to others and encourage customers to ask for Dante - he was great! read more

Excellent service! Bogdan installed a smart thermostat for us. He was very professional, helpful and courteous. He spend enough time to make sure we had everything set up correctly on the app and were able to use it. He also checked our system and said that it was working ok for its age. He made some recommendations for the future, but did not try to upsell us on a new system. We appreciated his honesty very much. Raluca, in the office, was also very professional and courteous. She even called the next day to make sure everything was ok, and to see if we needed anything else. A level of service like this is rare these days. On the hottest day ever recorded for June my AC decided at 8pm to stop working. Panic set in. I had the number of someone else who I could call but at the earliest they wouldn't be able to take my request until the morning. I Googled AC repair and Wave Heating and Cooling popped up. You see a lot of companies with good reviews and question if they are real and I can say, their reviews are real. Raluca took the order and Bogdan arrived right on time even at 9pm. Wave heating and cooling came to my rescue a few years ago for a heating issue on a cold winter day. And this time they helped me with my AC on a hot day in Vegas. We needed one of our AC units to be replaced. I knew we were in for a big hole in the pocket. Bogdan the owner came himself, gave a very reasonable estimate compared to rest of the market. We had an excellent experience with Wave Heating & Cooling. We noticed late on a Monday afternoon that our AC wasn't working. We called a "Big Name" HVAC company to come have a look at it. When they told us our seven-year-old unit needed to be replaced, I wanted a second opinion. My husband called Wave Heating & Cooling because he remembered they came out to do a repair on our neighbor's AC and were professional and fair. By the time we called them, it was the end of the workday. Nevertheless, Bogdan showed up after 7PM; just before sunset. Without us telling him what the competing company said, he confirmed our best bet would be to replace the unit rather than trying to do costly repairs. Early the next morning we received via email an estimate for a new, installed unit from Wave. In the meantime, the "Big Name" company sent out an estimator. Wave was far more reasonably priced. Working with Raluca, who runs the office, we were able to get Bogdan back here that afternoon to install our new unit. Remarkable! And such a relief, as it was HOT! Bogdan gave us many tech tips along the way and will be coming back twice a year to check on the health of our HVAC system. Raluca stopped by with some required inspection paperwork and set up the inspection with the City, checking our availability. She also signed us up for our warranty and sent us the warranty documentation. This is a small and nimble company. The operation is very professional, with emails and texts to let you know when Bogdan will be arriving, and so on. Bogdan is licensed, insured, bonded and NATE Certified. This is the most honest, and trustworthy HVAC company in the Valley. The technician Bogdan was very knowledgeable and friendly. I called him to go to my grandmas house on Labor Day and he was out there within 2 hours! When he arrived the system was able to turn on again. He explained to me what he thought the Issue was but wanted to wait to see what happened when the unit went out again. He then returned 2 days later within 30 minutes from my call and informed me that we needed to do to test the system again. He then returned again that night at 7pm to replace the motor. He had the part in stock on his van and was able to change it out and get the air on for my grandma quickly! Throughout the entire process he fully explained all the components of the system and what was causing the issue. Instead of guessing what was wrong with the system and over charging me, he took the time to confirm what the issue was. I really appreciate his honestly and hard work. WAVE was the 2nd contractor referred under my Old Republic HOW to find the problem with the HVAC system in South Shores. Bogdan, owner and technician, called me to allow me to meet him, walked the property checking for possible issues and proceeded to the very small crawl space that is called an attic in this house. He went up twice, took pictures to show me that a much smaller man than himself would be needed to get into the space. He was quite regretful that he was unable to reach the space to attempt to fix the AC. He was very respectful and nice. I have a couple rental properties. We had a pre-summer air conditioning check performed by a different company that was assigned by our Home Warranty agency. This is our first full summer in Las Vegas. That went okay, but afterward, I felt we were having trouble with two of our thermostat controllers. The company returned and said that the thermostats needed replacing, but the technician said more information about that would come from his office. The next day, I checked on the Home Warranty site and saw that my issue was closed. I asked the Home Warranty company why, and was told that my problem was "programming error by homeowner." Hummpf! There was NO programming error! I asked for another company to come out. The Home Warranty assigned a company with a very poor Yelp rating and I refused that company. Then, happy day! They assigned Wave Heating & Cooling. Wave called me the same day that I spoke to the Home Warranty company. A representative, Bogdan, arrived on time the next day. He spent a lot of time testing our 2-unit, 4 thermostat system. He mapped which unit was cooling which rooms, and also verified which thermostat was controlling each room. He looked to see which vents were open, and which were closed. It turned out that there is nothing wrong with our air conditioning system, and I DID know how to program the thermostats. Ha! The technician clearing explained the details about our system, recommended that we open all the vents, recommended which doors to keep open and which to keep closed. He recommended that we leave they system ON in all the rooms during air conditioning season (don't turn off an area, for example, instead use the programming). We talked about the humidity we add and how that affects our system. He explained why an area may get a small amount of cooling (air blowing), even when the set temperature is reached. In short, he PATIENTLY explained how our system works for our house and how to optimize its performance. He also told me how to identify a "zoning problem." He said that that can be quite expensive to correct (so I hope this doesn't happen!). As he was leaving, I thanked Bogdan and told him that he is now our Air Conditioning and Heating Guy. Update: I found out AFTER I wrote this review that Bogdan is the company owner, so I wanted to update my review to show this. read more

Five starts is not enough! If I could give 10 that would sum up the fantastic service I received and have received in the past couple of years. Just had a new AC unit installed. This is the best company I have ever worked with in the 44 years living in Las Vegas. I can't say enough about Bogdan. His worker Daniel was also fantastic. He is respectful, kind, caring, knowledgable, reliable, dependable, trustworty, very neat worker and has the best prices in town. He just never disappoints. He explains everything to you and will honestly tell you if it's worth fixing or replacing. I truly value his opinion. He is there when you need him. I've had a couple of instances where my AC went out in 110 degrees and he made sure he was at my house fixing it the same day. Once the circuit breaker completely went and we had to call an electrician. He waited for the electrician to arrive to replace the breaker so he could be sure that my AC would work. He's just an amazing person! I truly highly highly recommend him and I know you will never be disappointed. This company was sent out by my home warranty company. The tech actually told me that it's normal to have some rooms of my house exceed 80 degrees when the a/c is on and set to 76 degrees. What he failed to find is that the compressor had a bad valve. Of course, I'm sure Old Republic Home Warranty is happy because of the incompetence of your tech, it saves them money. This company is great! My 18 year old units needed some repairs and rather than try to sell me a new system, the owner/technician worked with what I had. A leaking drain pan on the first AC and a broken switch on the second caused me to have no power to the thermostat. What I really appreciated about this was that he provided pictures and a thorough explanation as to what was messed up and what work was done. On top of all that, the price charged was better than what I expected to pay. My husband was changing out our thermostat controls in the house and after installing one of AC units was not turning on. After many tests and eliminating possible causes we came to the conclusion it must have been a popped fuse. We went without AC that night, in August it was HOT! The next the AC repair place I had called the night before returned my call but they had no availability until the following day. I could not go another night in the heat. I searched yelp and found Wave. Bogdan who is small business owner had good reviews and happened to be open Sunday. Being as we are small business owners too I wanted to give him a shot. I called and he told me he could be over I'm a few hours. He showed up on time, was VERY professional, wore shoe covers and a mask. He explained things so thoroughly so we knew exactly what was going on. I could tell he really cares about his customers and doing what is honest. It was indeed a fuse but he figured out when they originally set up the unit when the house was built they switched the wires around, usually they are all color coded. The thermostat downstairs was wires differently than upstairs, go figure. He fixed the fuse, finished the thermostat install we started and we have air. I'm a retired big box retail MGR, so I set a pretty high bar when it comes to reliability & customer service. When our AC unit recently stopped working WAVE came right out. The tech, Bogdan, figured out pretty quickly what the issue was. He worked tirelessly up in the attic, soaked from the heat, but never stopped working. Our AC unit was buried behind the heater, which did not make his work easy to say the least. He explained everything he did, took photos of the damaged blower, and made sure we were happy with the results before he left. He was not only professional, and knowledgeable, but his work ethics & customer service was excellent. During our spring tune-up by our contracted service company (who shall remain nameless) the technician discovered a massive series of leaks in the plenum of our large furnace and coil unit. It had been put in by another company 2 years ago when we replaced all three HVAC units in our home. The service company was supposed to call or email an estimate to repair or replace the plenum but failed to do either. So the next day we called Wave Heating & Cooling and Bogdan came out immediately and assessed the problem. He took pictures to show us what was leaking--virtually every corner of the plenum! He also discovered a duct behind the unit that had not been reconnected when the new units were installed. Because of that, three of our registers were not putting out any air! He gave us an itemized bid to replace the plenum, reconnect the disconnected duct, and seal everything completely. His price was very fair, so we scheduled the work. Bogdan and his installer, Roger, arrived on time on the scheduled day and did a beautiful job. When finished, Bogdan explained what they had done and showed us pictures of the new work, which is professional perfection. I could go on with more praise of the service we received, but let me just end by saying that we will never call anyone but Bogdan to service and repair our HVAC system.
