Right Now Air is the best ! Here's why : RNA replaced our HVAC system three years ago, and there have been no problems since. On Labor Day, there's a water leak in our laundry room. The leak was coming from the condenser unit in the attic above, so I called RNA. Jeff was here in less than an hour. Air conditioning needs drainage for condensed water from the unit. Homes are built with drain tubing that runs through the attic and outside. It was blocked. Jeff blew ot out and the leak was fixed. Despite not being covered under warranty, Right Now Air charged NOTHING -- ZERO -- ZIP ! ... not even a holiday service charge. We were vulnerable. A lesser company could have taken advantage of us for THOUSANDS of dollars, but not RNA. THAT'S why they're the best. read more

Ordered a tune up/maintenance for our two systems in the house (upstairs and downstairs) Here's how it went: - On time service. -Customer service from the office and the field: spot on. -Pricing seemed some what high for the service but still fair. Would I recommend and use again? Absolutely. Field technician Jose was courteous and professional who also demonstrated a high level of respect for our home. I say this because he automatically wore shoe covers prior to stepping on our white carpet which put my wife at ease. They offered a club membership for maintenance and discounted services on HVAC. To make a long story short, my AC was not working well during the heat of the summer day but worked fine at night. The tech they sent was adamant about replacing the unit because it was apparently in terrible condition. I was dinged for 250 bucks in coolant charges that was used to cool off my AC for the tech to even be able to diagnose it. In total they charged me $500+ and the AC still did not function correctly. I did not believe the unit needed to be replaced so I had a 2nd opinion done by SilverState Refrigeration & HVAC. It turns out the only thing wrong with the unit was a bad capacitor which was fixed for $189. Also instead of using coolant to cool off the AC to diagnose it, the tech just used water from a water hose for no extra charge. Going from needing the unit replaced to just a bad capacitor really makes me wonder what RightNow Air was thinking. Glad I didn't fall for their ploy to get a new unit which would have costed me $5000+. I would never recommend RightNow Air to anyone because you will likely be taken for a ride. Businesses that try to take advantage of people in the summer heat of Vegas is just criminal. SilverState Refrigeration & HVAC would be the ones to call. My AC is working great now and I spent less than half of what I paid RightNow Air to just blow smoke up my ass. read more

Today these guys wanted 8k to replace one of the AC units and they said that was for the cheap one and a good one would be 14k. Then they said the part that's in the attic that dispenses the air needed to be replaced as well but when he went and looked at it he said the other one for the other AC unit was in the way so he would have to replace them both. At this point it sounded like a scam. Then they said they would leave a portable unit there for us overnight because there are two newborn babies in the house. But when they weren't sure we were going to spend 10k + with them suddenly they didn't want to leave the portable. Needless to say we decided to get another quote and remembered there was an AC guy at church. He said if we wanted to spend 10k we could have a weekend at The Red Rock with the families and have a ton of fun AND fix the AC. If you go with this company I would recommend getting a second opinion. UPDATE: the repair cost 150$. read more

I just ended service with these guys after several years of having our units maintained by them. One of their technicians just came over a few weeks ago to do our annual AC systems check. He determined there was an loud and unusual sound coming from one unit, and suggested we look into replacing both. We'll they were over 12 years old and were builder quality Yorks, so it really wasn't a surprise. Anyway, I said I'd discuss it with my wife and get back to him. That's when the pressure started. He really wanted to immediately set up a home evaluation with both me and my wife present. She was really busy then and was going out of town for a few days. He essentially forced us into making some arrangements. Well we decided to set up the evaluation with him a few days later. He took over 3 hours to check out our house! After he was finished he sat down with my wife and really pushed their air filtration system upgrade hard. I'm sure they get a nice fat commission for selling those!! And the clincher was they were going to install another couple York units! We decided to go with Sun Country, and smaller family-owned operation that was Trane certified. We got top of the line 20 SEER Trane units for much less than their 16 SEER York units! I'll be sticking with Sun Country from here on out! read more

They were recommended through word of mouth, I like that in a business because you know someone else was a happy customer. They were timely, efficient and honest (we knew what was broken because HomeDepot, who we thought we had a warranty with came out looked gave us a price and charged us 79 dollars for a service call) Ken was the serviceman who came to my house, he spoke very highly of the company he worked for, and he was very nice and professional, he checked out the unit diagnosed the problem explained it to me and told me someone would come back tomorrow with the part to fix the unit. Called this company out when my FIL's AC stopped working. The technician said his blower motor and circuit board were bad and he recommended replacing everything to the tune of $8900. He also said he could replace everything, complete AC system & furnace, that day and that he would get started at 4pm. Um, that's just impossible! My husband went right over and put a stop to it immediately and apparently the technician claimed that he had already put in a work order without a signed contract. We called another company who told us the circuit board was fine and that the only fix needed was a new blower motor. He got that done and we had cold air blowing again no time. Don't do it! They quoted me $2200 - $2800 for a compressor, plus $3434 for a condenser. I was told by another company that if you replace the condenser it will come with a new compressor and should cost about $2000. When asked what a new unit would cost was told $7000 to $10000. Called Dekes - came out the same day and replaced the unit with a bigger one for $3100. Very nice and knowledgeable. read more

Got up this morning and once again no fan for the 2nd time in as many years to blow heat in my home. I've been with this company for quite awhile now but I'm starting to think the unit they replaced my 18 year old system with is an over-priced lemon. I paid 10k for a new system from them. It hasn't been installed more than 6 years and I've had 3 or 4 problems with it. Can you say rip-off. I guess now they're making throw away $10k heating & air-conditioning systems. Just like everything else in this country. All they seem like they want to do is sell, sell, sell to you as well. I'm looking for another company. Makes me wonder if the employees are writing the 5 star reviews here. I'm also tired of paying them $180.00 a year for their preferred maintenance plan as well. If the systems they sell you are so great you shouldn't need to buy their yearly maintenance. I shouldn't be having these problems on a system that's not that old either. read more

I have their preventative maintenance agreement and they check my units twice a year. This is great in order to catch a problem before it becomes a larger problem. Their staff is always courteous, personable, on time and MOST important knowledgeable in what they do. I was very impressed with the kind staff of Right Now Air. They were the last company I had give me a quote to replace my unit and definitely the most impressive of the three. Randy, the man that first came out, gave me several different options on replacing my air conditioning system. We live in a 19 year old home so I knew the system needed to be replaced. He could tell I was concerned about having my mom stay in our house without A/C for a couple days. They offered to send out a portable A/C unit which they installed in my mother's room while I got the financing approved. This was going WAY over the top and I couldn't believe they would do that for us. When they installed the new Air Conditioner, Brandon and Jacob were absolutely phenomenal!!! The were so sweet and made sure they kept my house nice and clean. I don't know how those guys spend some much time in those hot attics but even as they were dripping sweat, they kept a smile the entire time. By the end of the day, the A/C was blowing nice and cold. I called Right Now Air because my Heat was not working. My unit is 15 years old and this would have been the second repair this year. I decided to replace the AC/Heat with a new, more efficient unit. I discovered my A/C was out today at 11:00. I called them and they were at my house by 1:30. Found the problem, had the part on the truck, replaced it, and did a checkout of the system. All done by 2ish. With a 109 high today, this was a life-saver. Our technician was Mark, who was super professional. This is my second time using Right Now. I recommend them all the way. (PS.
