    Joseph ruined my hair.

    I wish I could give less than one star review for this man Joseph. He ruined my hair. It has been 1.5 years since I got balayage done on my hair- and my hair still hasn't recovered from it. He bleached it- and colored it to crisp. This pic attached is after I tried to straitened it- but he has ruined it. Until my hair grows out again I have to tie it. After the time he bleached my hair, I have never seen my hair healthy again. He is also talkative and gives advices that are baseless. I will never go back to this place, and I would not trust my hair with him. The salon overall has a nice vibe and the people seem nice- except Joseph. He comes on too strong and opinionated. All could be tolerated if he would have done a good job on my hair. I have never seen my hair this way. I paid around $250 + the products he sold to me. I Have spent over $1000 on products to try to fix my hair. Nothing has worked so far - that's the amount of damage this man has done to my hair.

    Went to Justin Michael's Salon as a recommendation from my friend! Awesome salon! Went and saw Aubrie who my friend recommended for a cut and I wanted to put a purple tint in my hair. I have never dyed my hair before and wanted to make sure that anything that I did would not damage my hair. I love that when she was doing a consultation with me, she really listened to what I wanted, and what my concerns were. Because I was dying my hair, I didn't want to damage it. She formulated a whole plan for my hair. I came back the next week after and we dyed my hair! I love it! Go visit, Aubrie! She will really listen to what you are looking for and put together a whole plan for you. Will be back!

    I saw Catherine Palmer. I requested a trim to keep it a long classic bob and ended up with a very short wedge, a typical old lady haircut. A different look, not what I requested. I asked for a trim at the bottom and got lots of layers and inches off the back and uneven on the side with a big mishap on one side as seen in the picture below. I asked for sun-kissed highlights as well. She was very busy texting away on her phone and not focused on the job. Background info: I was letting my hair grow as she also got carried away and cut it very short several months ago in February and it took months to grow back. I was upset she chopped it all off again, especially, as I was preparing to attend my daughter's wedding and had worked so hard to get it back to my original length. She claimed it was my fault for not articulating. I know I was very specific on just having a trim. She's very impulsive. She ended up doing her own thing, layering away and cutting off 4 inches from the back. I never asked for layers. Although she thinks she listens to her clients, she doesn't. Even worse, the new style she gave me, she botched it up as well. This was negligence for being on the phone texting and not paying attention to what she was doing. She cut a triangle into the side. She said she wouldn't charge me for the cut, a cut I didn't even ask, but she sure baked it into the highlight cost. I've never paid $200 for highlights. I'm sure the cut was thrown in there. Catherine didn't like it when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Right away she felt offended as if she was the one who got her hair cut off, and instead of apologizing, she started to make a scene as if someone was doing something wrong to her. Total drama. She was more concerned about her ego than what she did to her client. I was the one that received a bad haircut. Unfortunately, she had no empathy that I was preparing for my daughter's wedding. If it wasn't for that, I could have let it pass as hair eventually grows, but this was not the first time she screwed up. I should have known better. She cut too much in February and it took months to grow. Thus, why I asked for only a trim, not a cut. I even reminded her to not overdo it like she did in the past and emphasized a trim. I've been going to this salon for 20 years. I've had three different stylists who were amazing and unfortunately, they've all relocated. I tried Catherine since I didn't know who to go to. When she screwed up the first time, I figured I should give her some slack since she was just getting acquainted with my hair but all I can say is that I screwed up going back to her. I take the blame for going back to her. She needs training in female haircuts. The majority of her clientele is male. Edit: Responding to her comments below, which were written by Catherine and not the owner: I did reach out to her and tried to communicate, not only onsite but via text, to rectify and at least be reimbursed. See Catherine's way of dealing with a client (see attached texts below). Other: A gentleman was sitting in the waiting area, which happened to be right next to my chair (where my hair was getting done). As I stood up and walked away, I apologized to the gentleman as he overheard the whole situation. I didn't say anything else. There was no need to do so. Catherine, who responded below, is paranoid that I talked about her. Again, this goes to show that she was more interested in herself, not the client. I think the gentleman was her next client and that's why he was waiting nearby. All in all, beware. When she's wrong, she won't do a thing, not even correct the damage, reimburse, or apologize. She just washes her hands. My advice, swipe left.

    DO NOT GO HERE went here a few months ago and had this blonde older woman cut my hair. i called in and they said it would be 60, then going there they ended up charging me 75 when it was done. incredibly uneven, and the face framing layers is just a straight line across. not sure how the reviews for this place are so good, the lady seemed like she never cut hair before. BEWARE

    Got hair and makeup done for son's wedding. Boy was it awesome to feel so confident! Both Catherine and Presila took care of me and it was so relaxing and exciting! The salon is so chill and very professional.

I had missed 3 appointments due to either traffic , etc. out of maybe 20-40 visits throughout my time there. Long story short, without any communication they blocked me :) What they fail to understand is that I valued them as a business and referred many people to them. Having a serious medical issue I was a regular customer. Missing appointments is not good, but blocking your customer without any form of communication. Not professional or good. Spoke with the front desk , they were very passive aggressive and tried to reason their blocking me because I had missed three consecutive appointments. I had always tried my best to communicate when I could not make it, but if I failed I apologize. She explained that my calls were always 30 min before. Yes, if I cancelled due to not being able to make it in time while driving in from work, you can let me know that I need to pay full price. I must have called on the days where I had extreme discomfort and was running behind but couldn't think of going without a massage. Sometimes I didn't end up making it, my fault. Maybe my pain got in the way of reality thinking if I could actually make it, but it's not like me to take for granted the people that help me with my issues. The masseuses here are good, no doubt. I have actually paid for an appointment that I missed in the past out of my own good will. But I was never asked to compensate or even a phone call. Thank you for the passive aggressive front office communication. You may have good masseuses, but not professional business practices. Having a real medical issue, you left a good customer hurt. Simple communication and asking me to pay for missed appointments, which I have done out of my own good will would have felt better! Cannot support, will not recommend. Unfortunate, but there are other options. Many of the masseuses here will actually give their phone number because they are not paid well. Just talk to one. They will come to your house for a much better price.... The masseuses, due to the business structure, don't see much to take home for their hard work. Sad but true. Good luck to everyone!

    This is the worst massage I've ever had. I've never once walked out in the middle of a massage…read morebefore but here I did. I originally requested 90 mins deep tissue. The lady agrees then, when I'm face down on the bed she asks me it vitiligo was infectious? I tell her no, but I would have understood if she wasn't comfortable continuing. But she agrees to continue, and legit for 20-30 mins just very lightly moves her hand around my back on top of the blanket. But when she does she starts putting oil on, and its literally so uncomfortable, as its like zero pressure, and for some unknown reason, feels the need to put oil near my stomach and underarm area? Okay, at that point I'm getting mad but I asked her to please do it harder. She agrees and again literally just touches my sides, lower back with oil doing nothing. At that point, I just stopped her at 1 hour mark. She gets the hot towel and wipes my back down and she tries to continue, I tell her to stop again, this time I'm propped up already on my elbows and told her to stop. She stops but then asks if Im really angry at her. Well yeah. Then she offers to remove her gloves and continue the next 30 minutes. Seriously? I didnt care about the gloves its the not doing what was asked for. I told her that im just done i dont like anything about this. When I get up and leave I paid her $70. $60 for the worst hour of massage ive ever had the displeasure of paying for and $10 to at least acknowledge that she did... something? I didnt want me not tipping is just me being cheap, its me being pissed the fuck off that im still in pain and I wasted money and time being there. If you want to go there to be discriminated upon and have strange session of someone lightly placing oil on your body you should go there.

And it is hard to talk with those covers they have on the pillow you rest your face on. The overall massage was okay. I didn't care for it .i think I would've had a better massage at Massage Envy. The mobility movements were good. But I didn't leave feeling like wow I feel so good and relaxed...that's how I felt when I left the Palo Alto spot, so I guess the hunt for a local spot continues.
