It's been a long time since i have gotten a haircut and I determined today was the day. I called in to see if there was a free spot with any of the stylists and was told i could see Kristi at 2. When I arrived I was greeted by another stylist before Kristi popped out to her station. I showed her what I was hoping to get done and she made it happen! I had longer hair and had requested a cut that was a shorter style. Rather than being nervous or put off Kristi talked with me to make sure she and I were on the same page about what I wanted. I'm so happy with what she did and have been smiling since I left. Highly recommend the shop, even if you can't get an appointment with her all of the people there cutting hair were awesome. Went to the barber shop a few days ago to get a 1/2 inch trim. I have curly hair so it coils back, meaning you have to wet it first and then cut it in order to get a nice looking cut. That's besides the point. My barber was a very nice lady but something that caught me off guard was that she wasn't wearing an apron and was wearing a hoodie! All the other barbers had the same uniform, apron and same shirts, so I was a little confused.. The lady cuts my hair and I notice she was cutting a little much. When we were done, she turned my chair around and I was about to die right then and there. It looked awful. I asked for a 1/2 inch trim and it looks like she cut off 3 inches!! Then she still proceeds to ask me, "Are you sure you don't want more cut off?" This barber is a very good place to get your hair done. I've not had a bad experience here except for that day. Top notch barber shop. They know how to do a proper fade with clean and symmetrical lines, leave the top and bangs smoothly trimmed to last without growing uneven areas and line up the neck area with hot lather and razor. I have several cowlicks that need addressed and Louann seems to be the only barber, stylist or otherwise who knows how to eliminate their appearance. They also have prices much cheaper than the chain establishments without the turnover so you can get consistent cuts from familiar faces who remember and take care of you. Hair products aren't marked up, making them much more affordable as well. Definitely worth the drive to Justin. They may well be what puts this bedroom community on the map.
