I tried to call ahead 4 times they refused to answer waited in line for 15 minutes the woman at the front Christine would not stop talking with one of the clients about nonsense and finally they left and I said hey I wanted to get a haircut and they said sorry we're booked today and I said why didn't you just tell me that before having me stay in line for 15 minutes and she just said it's not my problem but you can leave now wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

Moved here from Las Vegas about 10 years ago, tried several barbers in the area with little luck on what I needed. Then at last walked in and met Chris I told her what I wanted and she said I Got It ! 2 on top straight razor on the sides and blend it in. I took my son here for a haircut today. We usually go to a salon in Southlake, but his usual stylist was off this week and he needed a cut badly. I tried to make an appointment, but was told that none was needed. Walk- ins are welcome. There was another customer there when we arrived. He was getting the most precise flat top I've ever seen, so I knew we were in good hands. Our barber was friendly and he wielded those tools like the expert he was. My son's cut was great! We are local to Keller. This place is half the distance and less expensive than our other place. AND his cut was better. There is no doubt that we will be back. read more

I was lucky enough to walk in without an appointment today and after only a five minute wait I was directed to a chair. Eric was profoundly friendly and exceptional, where he gave me the best high fade that I have ever gotten in any barbershop. The atmosphere was welcoming and stylish, which is highly reflective of those that work there. I could tell within the first few minutes into my haircut that Eric is very passionate about his profession and the people that he works with. The reviews of the shop as well as the barbers there all seemed to point in the right direction. Reviews of Christine seemed excellent but she was not in today. So I went to Eric as it is my last day off before work. He listened well and really seemed to care about what I wanted. Unfortunately though, the result did not turn out for the best. At first, he left the hair a little too long. I could barely tell that I'd had a haircut. So I asked for it to be a little shorter. He took the clippers out and started trimming all over. Again, I think he cared. But unfortunately the quality of his cut did not turn out looking smooth. I think his use of clippers and razor instead of scissors resulted in an uneven appearance. And the cut over the ears is not even and smooth and is not consistent from one side to the next. I was hoping to find someone I could go to for a good haircut. But I think the quality of his tools was not up to par and his techniques did not compensate and I ended up with an uneven looking haircut. Hair has a lot of areas sticking up and does not lay down properly. I agree that we were being cautious regarding my hair with cowlicks but I still haven't coextensive evenness. Still searching for a good barber. Probably time to look more for a stylist who has better techniques. Also, the prices have gone up quite a bit since the picture of the old sign. A man's haircut is $25. Not really out of line in the market so I'm not complaining about the price. But you're not getting what you paid for. read more

Heads up! Under new management/ownership. The jury is still out on this place now, after they have had a nearly 100% turnover rate of the old barbers. We had been going here for over 9 years, but the ownership changed in the fall of 2017 sometime. The homey look of the place with military and mantastic photos and posters on the walls is now gone, as the new management has taken down all the old stuff. It does look neater, but also somewhat blah. The fridge used to have sodas, but now only contains H2O (prolly looking out for our health). It's still a clean, traditional style barbershop. Just know that it might take a while for the new crew to build a new culture, identity, following, etc. I wish them well, but I just cant give them the 4+ star review just yet. read more

It's a true barber shop, not a fruity salon. DO come here if you want: a good haircut at a fair price by an experienced barber, decent conversation with the locals, a drink, and a laugh or two. This is a barber shop that harkens back to the days of a country style barber shop where you get the latest town gossip, a good clean cut where they actually shave the back of your neck and put talcum powder on you before they brush your hair off. They provide a free drink for you and the kiddos if you bring them as well as a free piece of candy, just like the good ol' days! They have one large tv and about a half dozen barber stations and are patriotic! Don't go here if you're high maintenance and are expecting a $60+ style with Aveda products! My son has been going here since he was 4 or 5- I read an article written by a mom of boys and she said "for the best hair cut, take your sons to a BARBER!" (Previously, my son would go to my hairstylist, and my husband would go to whatever shop happened to be close when he realized he needed a hair cut.) My husband and my son both have strange cowlicks, and Marcy manages them perfectly. They have also had their hair cut by Christine and a few others, so I think all of the barbers are good. Alexis is my personal barber, and I won't let anyone else cut it. She's very knowledgeable and skilled at her craft; more than that, she's got a good eye for what looks best on me, and offers suggestions on how best to cut my hair.
